Well.. didn't take them long to reverse engineer, or at least make a good impression.
I wonder what the two green call buttons (Xperia's call + Panel button) are for??
Anyway, 1 points for effort.. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery as they say

Interesting - only 1.3MP camera, no 3G?,
Coming Call Firewall?, Dual Sim?
The auto-rotate suggests keyboard, but then again.. Rudegar is right.. No evidence is indication of the truth.
"3,built-in gravity inducer suppors"
Whoah! Built in gravity inducer! I gotta get me one of these!
Have you guys seen this Sharp, Xperia look-a-like? http://www.ixplora.com/?p=111
P.S.
Long time lurker, first time poster.
I can't wait (but I have to) for the x1a in black.
[edit]
The transition between menus seem to be quicker on the Chinese knock off, at least.

Reverse engineer? No way! 1.3MP camera? 240x400 WQVGA 16k color screen????
Looks like they just grabbed some reject X1 case coverings and shoved in some cheapo hardware inside. And nicked some free software to give it an iphone-look.
the 2 call buttons are for calling from each individual SIM. this is a generic feature in many chinese/taiwanese phones.

[Q] whats new in eg22/gingerbread for epic?

any new apps or upgraded stock apps? just wondering
I was wondering this myself. I'm pretty happy with the custom kernel and froyo ROM I've got, so I'm hesitant to move to EG22. I did try EF02 but there wasn't enough there to keep me from going back to froyo (especially once Netflix upped their prices and I decided to cancel them altogether). Any pressing reasons to upgrade?
The wonders of Google searching lol

Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) supports the following features in addition to existing 2.2 features:
New user interface design with new themes (Black themes save power)
Extra Large Screen Size supported
SIP Communication Supported (SIP Video and Audio Calling, In an operator point of view, this is feature will decrease their voice calling revenue where as user can call each other for lower rates or even free if they have good data connection)
Supports for NFC (High Frequency High Speech Data Transfer in short range)
Support for WebM/VP8 video playback, and AAC audio encoding
New audio effects such as reverb, equalization, headphone virtualization, and bass boost
Improved Copy and Paste functionality
Redesigned Multi Touch Software Keyboard
Audio, graphical, and input enhancements for game developers
New sensors support (i.e gyroscope)
Download manager for long running HTTP downloads
Enhanced support for native code
Improved power management and application control
Support for multiple cameras
whats new
TeleNav has replaced Sprint Navigation, though maybe that was also in the earlier leak.
Google Books is installed by default.

Yeah, that's the general stuff about Gingerbread, but the specifics of EG22 are what I (and I assume others) are wondering about. I've already had EF02 (another gingerbread leak). But I was hoping people who have tried the leak would give me insight as to whether it was worth giving up things like a custom 2.2 kernel to switch, especially relative to what we had in the earlier link.

Yeah, we already knew this. Try again.
One thing I've noticed today (and this may have been true with the last GB leak) is the vibration intensity is much higher and noticeable. It's about time, because I don't know how many times I didn't notice my phone ringing or getting a text because the vibration was too soft.
Can't really give details but eg22 in superior in every catagory to ef02 to me. Speed. Battery. So far it works very well and worth trying. I used Odin and am testing stock for a few days then may root it again. Content for now after all the failed software updates for this epic.
