[Q] Stock Firmware? - Galaxy S III General (US Carriers)

Does anyone know where I could find a dump of the stock AT&T firmware?

In the dev section. Search before posting a pointless thread.

I see source code and a device dump, which aren't the same thing. Am I overlooking something?

What exactly are you looking for? There is source and a device dump like you mentioned.
If you're looking for a flashable version of stock (ODIN tar or CWM zip) they are not available quite yet.
Or are you looking for something else?

pinoymutt: I am looking for a flashable version of the stock firmware; thanks for the information.

im not sure what the "stock australian" is, do you mean "oversea b135SP01 release"?
you can click here to download.
i think all of b135sp01 rom based on the same kernal, except "UPDATE_CUST.APP", contained network operator's apps.

The Australian one is the "Australia Roadhound".
There are a lot of ones there.
Hope this helps.

i wonder how to flash one of these ROMs into my phone?
is that necessary to boot into recovery mode?
or does huawei have some PC software that can do the job?

You have to wait for it to redirect you.

You don't have to flash it.........also I think they just uploaded it in the development section under 4.22 ROM or Google it their are plenty of other sources available............so to each its own enjoy either way happy flashing
xda forums already has the deodexed and odexed rom
is this the sprint ota that came out today? zipped up and rooted for us? or is it an older leaked version? i dont want the leaked version gps and other things just dont work on them.

Actually some have encountered problems with broken WiFi.....netflix.....and something else I believe but its derived from the OTA itself not necessarily the download provided in the link check the development section under 4.22 ROM to see if there have been any corrections
nice, seems like everything works. tried 4g, tried wifi, tried taking video. still see superuser in my apps. over 350mb of memory free(that's awesome) now time to remove all the stupid sprint stuff.
don't see netflix in the market though. sure it will com pretty soon. only see que managers for netflix

where did the system dump thread go?

Does anyone have the system dump from the bravo stock still? I don't... I can make one but i'm on my way to work and need to SBF to make it,
was wondering if someone still had it could they upload it for me or something; or link me... sorry.
i'll upload it after i make it; to this thread... if not done by then. thank you.
its in my froyo dev thread

Howdy - Which stock recovery are you requesting? MDB/MDC/MDL?
The best I can provide you at the moment is the MDC tar. Working on getting the Zip made. You can find those from the links in this thread - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2258827
(And I need to take time and complete the Repo thread for our Section. I hope to complete this on the long weekend just ahead . )
Also - Might want to keep Questions in the Q&A section even though you're requesting something that should be found in the Development.
I second this too. I found an img but need a zip file
I need mdc. Let me ask you guys? If I get the img can I just manually put it in a folder to install or i need to actually flash?

You could install it from adb. Or like Moho said there is an Odin MDC recovery that you could use following his link. But give me a few and I will put a zip together also.

You mind if I add that to the Repo when it's available? Going to get that section as complete as I can prior to creating the thread here.

Thank you guys for not flaming. Showings of a great section. :highfive:

True, but is it being updated? According to the duplicate thread finder before posting, this (or something like it) didn't exist.
