my xperia x2 update service problem - XPERIA X2 General

i made the steps for the update center then i wait the phone to complete the update in 99 % the progame always tell me pleasecharge your phone at least 50 % but my phone is 100 % and my battery works 3 days , program told me to contact sonyericsson support center , the mobile is no longer exist on sony ericsson site & my windows is crashed up any advice or hard reset

My X1 is dead

I have an unlocked Xperia
When I tried to re-flash the firmware through the sonyericsson update, it got stock at 10 %. Removed the cable, removed the battery and now the phone is dead.
It is even not starting not the three color screen - JUST NOTHING
Like a dead peice.
Tried the mtty but it is not recognizing - which is logical as the device is dead.
Any idea ?
Use the warranty.
I guess you are using Vista?????
If so, use a XP driven system and you will be fine again.

I used for around 3 days.
I was trying a lot of localizing software - that is why I thought reflashing is good to choose one only.
I think that warranty is there - it is all SE update service which spoiled the gadget

Localizing softwares don't need reflashing, only a soft reset. Did you try a hard reset after the installations?
Hiya mate, try and run the Sony software update again, I doubt you have any luck though.
I had the same problem as you mate, mine stops at 11% no matter how many time I repeat the update (vista 32bit and 64bit)
I called up Sony technical support and apparently there is no replacement firmware, strange I know, Although Sony gives you the option to use the update service there is no update files to flash the firmware,
I was told the only fix for this problem is at Sony, all I can suggest is you send the unit back to your supplier, as they will hold a warranty, usually, for items found faulty within the 1st 30 days thw supplier usually ship out a brand new one rather than getting the unit fixed,
Or alternatively contact Sony support centre

i think i read somewhere that someone did a hard reset and it worked...so try that...
I am 100% sure this is a vista fault as confirmed by SE, it also happens on XP64 ( occasionally ) your xp must be upto date ( not fully, just not pre sp2 ) - a hard reset will not work as the software has been wiped and partially over written so there is nothing to recover it from. but i assure you if your screen is saying 11% and the handset is saying 10% then it is a very well known fault which is easily rectified by using a xp machin with flash player, and a full battery.

xperia x2 problem

hi every one i just received my xperia x2 today. its very slow as compared to xperia x1. however sometimes (1 in 15 times)
problem 1: when i click on start the menu screen goes blank
problem 2: when i press start menu screen shows icons but when i scrol them up and down it gives distortion and leaves trails. dont know whats wrong but it only happens couple of time
all the above things happens only on start menu screen and not on panel screen
i just need some information regarding if its a software problem or something wrong with the screen cable.
plz help i am thinking to send the device back as its still under 14 days peace of mind days
even for the X2 these are both unusual problems... try updating the firmware just incase youve got an earlier version. check in settings then device information - it should be R1AA097. go to the sony ericsson website and find the X2 support page. download the firmware updater and update if it isnt.
theres also a small software update available here.

I have no experience with X2 but as a first approach I would try to connect it to SEUS to see whether firmware is up-to-date
here's also an app-to-date howto on youtube, maybe that gives additional insight
if that doesn't help you can still contact service or send it back

What's the update on this? My cousin also told me she had a very laggy X2. She has the X1, X2 and Iphone altogether. She'll be complaining the X2 tomorrow on SE Service Center.

helloo all,
i m user of newgene,my gene having one problem the touch pad auto work without touching with styls. how can i desable touch function? becoz i wish to use my phone for only incomimn ,outgoing calls and sms.
i was told about the problem to htc customer care member, he told me if you want to use your phone then you mus change the LSD of your phone but it is very costly. i cant change this becoz my phone is very old.
second problem battery life very very less, i also told to htc customer care member for battery life problem. he was checked my phone's battery and he said your battery has no problem,problem in os ,so i sages to update your phone. ok then i given phone for update.after one day they was calling me and say if i update your phone then your phone will dead.then i take returne my phone and update with my cooked 6.5.3 rom but i can fix battery life problem.
pleas what i should do for those problems fix?

annoying x10 issue !

My Xperia X10I has developed a hardware fault i belive , it started to rarely ,but suddenly shut down and reeboot and about 6-7 weeks or so and now it accours very often. When it reeboots it sometimes starts on a reboot loop sort of that can last for 30min and i have to take out the battery and turn it on again myself to have it reboot problerly , someties nothing helps . It seems that the shut downs accour when i f.ex browse the web or play a game that uses much of the devices cpu and ram . The issue has not been solved by the 2.1 update or beeing serviced at sony ericsson . the service log stated that they had just reset the phone and re-installed 2.1 and tested it ok.
has anyone had similar problems? this issue is frustrating
I too had the exact same problem with my X10. I took it to the SE service center, they told me it was the faulty motherboard that is causing the problem.
They replaced the motherboard and now my X10 is all working well.
I am sure its the hardware fault, take it again to the service center for repair.

SE replace my X2 with new one

I bought xperia x2 in May 2010 when it ships in Italy.
The phone was unusable with MR1 and MR2 with a bit better but still needed reset every 2 days and several problem (I'm not a power user, simply use the phone for my business).
The battery drains faster, user interface slow, Receiving poor, African temperature apparatus using WI-FI, many problem with navigon (lock after one hour and need reset) and lost many call.

For a week I use the phone, it is not fast but it's usable, never reset, and does not heat the battery with a non-intensive use also comes on the second day without problems.

My advice is go to a SE official center and make a fully reload of the software.
