Excellent blog here - Galaxy Note GT-N7000 General

I found a really good 'tongue in cheek' blog with pics for the Galaxy Note here:
http://www.thetechblock.com/articles/2012/samsungs-super-sized-galaxy-note-changed-my-life/
I thought I would share.

It was funny but the rest of the site is terrible. I don't think I've ever seen a more Apple-centric tech blog. I mean wow...they make Engadget and BGR look like Android Central.

you are right, it is Cr-apple-centric, but that's what makes this blog so good, I think it's got some fanboys thinking Android may be cooler

My Location in Note
Hello, I have been using the Note for the past 3 weeks and am still learning new tricks daily thanks a lot to your team. I have been having this problem that whenever i post in facebook it says that i am somewhere in North Carolina whereas i really am in India. The same goes when i use the compass and google sky maps. But when i access the routine google maps, it shows my location correctly. I read somewhere that other galaxy phones had similar problems with the GPS. Please help.

Opinions on new Nexus Site

Was wondering what you guys think i should improve on =) any feedback would be amazing.
n1user.com
There are too many N1 "news" sites.
Pretty Cool...but, there are so many outthere now!
I'v been on this very good site from day one: http://www.nexusoneforum.net/forum/nexus-one-discussion/
Yeah i noticed shortly after i started its gona be hard getting it up n running =/
Thanks for responses though.
Honestly, I think it's a good site. Has all the elements - news, rss, forum,Twitter link, etc. But there are quite a few N1 sites. A suggestion, purely from a reader standpoint; a little more content, maybe a contest, and just being helpful when I say this-use the spellcheck a little more. Other than that, its a good read. I have bookmarked the site and added a follow to twitter. Good luck, and keep up the good work.
Thanks alot, yeah i will also going to photoshop the looks of it little more.
I know when i started this project i didnt know there was this many sites already i was like ****! lol they all came outa no where. But yeah ill try to keep up certainly dont have experience they do as far as design goes. I really appreciate the comment though. =)
Also working on Custom header banner it should be ready in few days. As far as more content what where you looking for? I was thinking gallery of nexus one pics that i can find. Also anyone have tips on SEO i have plugin running for it and added to search engines, also using google adwords but its hard getting it listed on engines.
Here are 2 links for you
www.google.com/phone
www.google.com/nexusone
I believe both of them link back to the same site since I am getting 404 on both site.
Alright back up sorry for problems today with site, i been all over it trust me.

Post your Latitude and BUZZ info! [HERE]

I'm looking at doing a stress test on the Nexus one with latitude and to help promote BUZZ even more in the development world. I simply have always wanted to add as many people as I could and I figured they're are others out there so with all that said, if you're ballsy enough post up your email for latitude.
If you would like to add me mine is dahui9_at_gmail_dot_com.
(for the sake of bots I have edited my emails layout) Let's see what you have boys and girls and "I am not responsible for anyone" that post anything or follows me.

i have not looked much into buzz, care to give me a reader's digest run down on what exactly it is? all that i really know is that its some form of social networking integrated with google maps?

All in all it is a break down of whats going on around you. say you're at a resturant and you really enjoy it and want to get the word out. BUZZ about it, and when you do you can take a picture to show people where it is and it geotags the location. its as simple as that! Its up to the community to report what's going on and what they think about certain subjects.
Example..
I went to the mall today and it was really busy
"02/23/2010 tThe mall was really busy today stand clear unless you specifically need to come"
It then geotags the location you are at.

sounds cool but i still think some people may have insecurities about their anonymousness, ie dont like people knowing where they actually are in the world... most people like hiding behind their device or computer screen
You could always hide your location to the person who invites you.
I agree with you but this is an open invatation for all those who see no risk in showing where they are. You can always turn sharing off thats the best part about latitude.
Example again.
My Girlfriend, to lazy to turn gps on so I can actually find her when she is lost in the middle of nowhere.
2 requests so far and both accepted (Don't forget to BUZZ about locations you find)
see you all tomorrow I need some sleep...

ahh long night last night, I thought I would check and see where we are at. It would be fun to get this news worthy haha.
I just added the both of you to mine I'm just waiting for response

I've been Buzzing off and on a little since it started. There are only a few others around me that do it too, all of them on Iphones, found ONE guy on a nexus. I don't have any friends with Android, so no one on my latitude list. I'm considering doing this...
Got your invite. cool.

Oh dang! Thanks a lot for catching that! Fixing now.
Looks pretty good. I think you should figure out a way to mount a camera in a solid location and then put your hand/phone against a hard surface to reduce the movement. You do a pretty good job keeping it still but you can see the issues where the focus drops out and some of the phone's screen gets washed out.
Cool site man!

[Q] Has this been discovered? 2.2 for Galaxy Phones

http://www.mobiledownloadblog.com/2010/08/galaxy-s-android-22-froyo-firmware.html
Link in article is broken, and Im guessing who posted this was referring to UK models, but in case its not figured some people might be interested.
Edit: Did a little more research, seems it might not be anything new however the posting date is what got me thinking it might have been recent. Still not sure though.
They are individually operated scavenger news bloggers. That take old news and make it seem like new. Think of a used car salesman. Yeah that.
Try and get new information from big blogging sites like Engadget, Gizmodo, phonedog, intomobile, slashgear, cnet and others. They are the new car salesman.

Newbie introduction and one happy Galaxy S owner!

Hi guys,
Been a long time reader but a first time poster! Kudos to the forum as its been more then useful many times when i had problems.
I am Australian currently in Germany. And just last week got the Samsung Galaxy S, unbranded and unlocked. Love that SAMOLED screen!
Have to say that i had no problems until now with GPS as its been spot on since day one. Using Copilot 8. Not sure if it was first batch of phones that was affected or what but mine seems to be as i said spot on. I dont use google navigation so can not comment on that.
Also i am photographer so i will be looking into bringing some hight quality wallpapers, if there is still someone out there preferring them over the live wallpapers
Cheers
Vlad

Ahh, Found it, "PhotoFluent" 1.0.2
I've chopped two photos and they do look stunning on this SAMOLED screen!
Problem is i cant post the url to my flickr account
Cheers
Vlad
You'll learn to cut and paste soon enough on android otherwise theres heaps of cut and paste 3rd party apps on MARKET. I have yet to look into it, Maybe someone who has can recommend some good ones?
Being a new member thats my problem, limited with posting url's
