ICS BUG - Nexus S General

Has anyone else noticed all 4.0.3 roms have this bug? Plug your phone into your computer with USB. Turn on phone. While at slide lock screen, slide down notification bar. Select USB connected. The screen turns off. Every other notification, if selected from the slide lock screen goes to the corresponding location. Only this one thing is broken. Is there some way the devs can fix this?

No Lock and No Led the only options?

Is No Lock, both versions in the market, the only option for when your phone goes into sleep that will allow you to get the screen back on with the up/down volume or power?
Right now, neither work well with my Inspire. The one No Lock won't auto start upon boot, have to set it each time after a reboot. Then, the volume buttons when you hit them it beeps like you are adjusting the volume.
The other No Lock app doesn't even work.
The thing I really miss about my Nexus One, Trackball wake/unlock and LED alerts.
The No Led app doesn't support any mail app but Gmail...sigh. So no other option apparently I have searched and found for regular Sense mail application LED on the screen alerts with different colors etc..
EDIT: Figured out how to do a custom status bar message so it sees a new email from any app, that is good. But, No Led doesn't work if you are using a No Lock screen app. Although, when No Led is enable, the touch buttons at the bottom are active and you don't need to use another button to wake the phone.
So, good/bad. See how it works.
Thanks

Screen Turns Off When "USB connected" is selected

I have a minor bug in ICS (Stock 4.0.3 - UCKE1 Radio - ICUP Kernel). When I connect my phone to my computer and select "USB connected" this triggers the screen to turn off. When I turn the screen on again it's where it should be with the Turn on USB toggle. It only seems to happen when I'm trying to access the notification menu from the lock screen (slide lock), however, it works fine from the home screen. Wondering if anyone else is experiencing this.

No slide lock after Jan/Feb AT&T update?

Hi gang... I received my update this morning from AT&T and now my slide lock screen doesnt show up . When I wake my phone it goes directly to my launcher. Also, I've lost the option in my settings menu to set how long after screen shuts off to activate lock screen . I've tried rebooting and making the BlackBerry launcher my default home but still no lock screen . Is anyone else having this issue?
I've also just noticed that my LED doesn't show my charging status any more . It should go from red to yellow to green as it charges but mine doesn't turn on at all.
I'm kinda bumming about these three issues and wonder if I'm the only one experiencing them.

Phone notification on lock screen

Up till now, all my galaxy phones had a persistent phone notification, while on a call, right on the lock screen along with other notifications. It had simple buttons for mute/unmute and speaker phone on/off. On the S8, there's no persistent notification for the phone on the lock screen. I've ensured that I don't have the phone app disabled from showing notifications on the lock screen, it's set to show all content. I have to either unlock, or pull down the notification panel and then get to it, which is kind of annoying. Anybody else notice this or is it something with my phone? Just want to check before I attempt a factory reset.

Major problem: Notification popup and app overlays keep the display on

I can't find anything on this issue, but a friend of mine with S7 edge also has this problem, so it doesn't seem like I'm the only one.
1. This is not notification waking up screen, though I'd like to turn that off too.
2. This is not popup showing and disappearing.
This affects the following:
1. If you get a notification popup that stays around, such as from LINE.
2. If you have an ongoing phone call or facebook call or any app overlay that stays when the screen is off.
The screen turns on by itself. Continuously. You can turn the screen off by pressing power. The screen will turn back on immediately. This kills the battery.
No one else has this?
