Just some feedback for you whilst testing this ROM (haven't tried your previous NewTech).
Can't seem to browse/use anything via Data Connection.
Connection Setup runs everytime after a reboot and even heathcliffs fix doesn't work on this ROM for some reason.

I manually change APN in Settings -> cellular -> Edit apn to APN: internet username: internet passoword: internet and it work perfectly. Ofc other operator require ip adress or other information
Can someone upload another link. I get expired page when I try to download.

My experience after installing this rom:
1. I couldn't update to 7.10.8107.79 using Zune, but I've used cab sender
2. there is no 8MPx camera resolution settings, max is 5MPx
3. I can't use SIM applications even after U2M8107 settings
4. connection wizard is appearing afret each restart, I've set APN manually, but problem is not solved
5. different settings in CELLULAR for turning and choosing 3G connection
6. my GPRS/3G connection is not working, even when I enter APN manually

Hi,
The U2M8107.xap is re-uploaded and handles 8M resolution by default
We must wait for HTC to request(!!) MS the update to 7.10.8107.79 thru Zune
Data connection always needed a data plan to connect to the internet
i.e. the user must set the APN and possibly user and/or password
It is the latest version (1.13) of Connection setup that works like this
HTC tries to disable provisioning but they fail
I can provide a previous version of it, in U2M8107 Xap Loader page if you want it
3G connection works when available by operator in the requested area
GPRS and MMS are also a service provided by operators and need certain contracts

You may do not need to downgrade
I think there is SSPL/HSPL for 1.24 bootloader
1st install SSPL and then HSPL

I've got DFT_XSPL_WP7FG2.RAR Which has RSPL and HSPL included. I guess SSPL is something different! The name certainly indicates so!

Typo dude, there is no sspl. Just do rspl then hspl and then flash rom. No need to downgrade to nodo.

You must have RSPL/HSPL installed in order to flash this ROM
After RSPL/HSPL it is irrelevant of what operator the device is branded

hi, Im also having problems with MMS. tried running an old version of HTC Connection setup, but that does not work either and the program auto-launches at every boot..
I cant set APN manually cause my provider needs one apn for data and another apn for mms.
Does anyone know where APN-settings is stored in registry so I can put it there manually?
Do you have any idea what is going on with the mms?
I can send but can not receive. i have put another rom and works well.

" even though my phone was set to never lock, Zune opened. Had to disconnect fone from USB then reconnect again to install XAP.

Hi,
Internet sharing can be provided with many ways:
- enabling and using data connection of the device and then tether others wirelessly by wi-fi
- enabling and using data connection of the device and then tether a PC/Laptop by usb cable or
- connecting device to a wi-fi access point with device data connection off and tether others wirelessly by wi-fi

Hi,
This is a final Mango 7720 direct flash ROM, not an update
The SPL (bootloader) has been removed due to known reasons as disabling downgrade
The Radio can be provided as a separate *.nbh, let me know if you still do need it

Don't use tom xap deployer, there is another one better that toms. I think it's XAPDeploy.

Hi,
A small guide to help you in the following order
- delpoy U2M8107 and pass ansar unlock and then dev unlock
- you need to power off and power on to be installed
- use ansarUC or
- let me know if you want to know how to make your userUC
- you need to power off and power on to be installed
- now use Xap Loader for missing xaps, probably Camera Modes and SIM apps
- install TouchXplorer, Registry Editor 1.2.0.0 and Advanced Config 1.4.0.0
- update all HTC apps and install HTC Tango (and HTC apps you like)
- You can also have 2 tango with downloading from apps (not HTC)
- use Market Place for Lumia 800 and
- down load Nokia maps and any other Nokia app
- Now you can use also hTC Tango!!
- DO NOT change back to Schubert, except for update to 7.10.8107.79
- if you go back to Schubert then power off and power on after that
- Now you can use the other Tango (not HTC)

I would like to notify all members that nokia offers their Nikia Drive app
that i successfully installed with U2M8107!!
These are the steps in short
- run U2M8107
- shift to Market Place page
- tap on lumia 800
- tap on dev / unlock eXit
- run Marketplace
- select Nokia collection
- select Nokia Drive
- select install
after downlowding, run Nokia Drive and select the
- country and
- male or female voice
- install
Its more or less of 150Mb plus 5Mb for each one

[NEWS]Successful update to 7.10.81.79
Hi,
I successfully updated to 7.10.8107.79 with the NewTech ROM of HD7
These are the steps
- verify that target ROM is set to 2250.5.11.401.01
- run U2M8107
- tap on DoNotU2hTC
- tap on dev Unlock \ eXit
If you already received the 7.10.7740.16 then
You will receive the 7.10.8107.79 update
If you did not receive the 7.10.7740.16 update then
You will receive both 7.10.7740.16 and 7.10.8107.79 updates
After update the device is dev / interop unlocked
Even if you perform a Hard Reset the device remains dev / interop unlocked
The HSPL does not change, the ansar unlock and all side loaded apps are working
I also tested the hTC updates and here are the results
- run U2M8107
- tap on U2hTC
- tap on dev Unlock \ eXit
You will receive a 1st hTC update
After 1st hTC update the bootloader changes to 5.11.2250
Then a 2nd hTC update is received but is a false one
This means that the 2nd hTC update will return an error without installation
The real thing is in the 1st hTC update and is proved like this
I performed a Hard reset after the 1st hTC update
At setting\about the firmware is now 5.11.401.01 and not 5.10.401.04
The good news is that the device remains dev / interop unlocked
even after hTC updates and the Hard Reset operation!!!
Also in settings\about you see that the mac address does not changes any more
This is what the hTC update actually does
But it also blocks the provisioning of the device
U2M8107, TouchXplorer, Registry Editor 1.2.0.0 and Advanced Config 1.4.0.0
although are side loaded they do not work properly
I successfully downgraded the 5.11.xx bootloader with the SLSPL ROM for HD7

Updated my phone without U2M8107 to 7.10.8107.79
Installed your ROM, my version was 7720.68, then update thru zune and received 7740 and then 8107.79
By Bootloader is 5.11.2250.0 and my phone is fully unlocked!

Hi,
If the device is dev / interop unlocked then many functions will work
The U2M8107 v1.2 has another CTRL box in system page, the ansar ReLock one
You can try ansar Unlock and then make a SOFT reset
If Xap Loader functions work then is ok
If not then use ansar ReLock to set the device in its previous state

Hi,
I do not have any issues with the battery life of the device
although you can imagine how much my phone is used for development!!
But in case you load too many apps the battery drains more quickly

I can browse I try even firefox,chrome and even on ie. I only notice just 1-2 second an ip error appear before rapidshare and it just go to rapidshare website with the error stated.

The lang is not complete from the "InternetSharing" in english and also in german.
Its empty and not "Enabled" and "Disabled" like in the 5.13 ROM from you.
Edit: The step to full unlock have a problem:
I tap "Ansar Unlock" and on the device I see now allredy in the last 20min the same:
"configuring device"
-> "Loading..."

and nothing else?

Hi,
If you have an HTC_Europe (CV 401) you can use the SLSPL for mozart
You must backup SMS/MMS because with any method you will loose it
The steps are
- flashh SLSPL to downgrade
- flash the ROM of your operator that is supported bh RSPL/HSPL
- install RSPL/HSPL
- now can flash any ROM

How to fix Internet Sharing issue
Hi,
I will update the post #1 with a new release of the ROM
Those already flashed can follow these simple fix
- deploy Registry Editor 1.2.0.0
- run Registry Editor (it is down in \Settings)
- navigate to HKLM\Services\ICS and
- change UserProcGroup value 32 (decimal) to 5

after,i am tested it looks like same stock rom with full unlock.

ps.use htc-provxml-deploy for change some registry,but the registry don't change any things

You must 1st run U2M8107, ansar unlock and soft reset [power off / power on]

You cannot change registry like that with connection setup old way
Try Registry Editor or U2M8107

Hi...Data connection not working, unable to get touch experience, unable to revert back to earlier backup..please help
No mobile data for me either :-/. Though the signal is there.
the cellular data connection doesn't work. everything is on,but can't access the internet.
