Kernel Modules for 3D and Audio on Touchpad - TouchPad Development

Posting this hoping some of the CM developers on the touch pad visit this section of the forums -
I was wondering if anyone knows which kernel modules are in use on CM7 that are allowing the touchpad to have full 3D and working audio under the OS. Working on getting Debian running fully on the touchpad hardware and these are two hurdles I need to get over next.

At any rate anyone know the answer to my question? I was hoping someone would know off hand so I don't need to wipe my Debian install to load up CM7 myself.

Seriously, this is ridiculous. Probably a large part of the reason RootzWiki exists, because of this BS on XDA. OP, please don't be discouraged - I support your efforts and wish I could answer your question!

If you mean the kernel compiling, maybe you can check the tenderloin kernel build in github
I wish I can also find the CM7 source code for TP but it seems been pulled off from github, you can check the work of preludedrew but the rom I built from his code does not work well for 3D acceleration and other stuffs (or maybe I have done something wrong in compiling...)
Hope this helps

Don't know what you all need as far a development goes, not much needs to be done.
There are a few hacks and roms, but not many Adams in the hands of their users yet. Anyone that does, is waiting on Kernel Source and/or HoneyComb.
I am sure more will pick up as soon as this PO2 batch gets to their owners.
You could in the meantime look up "Notion Ink Hacks".

Not much needed to be done once the unit is rooted, customizing is up to the user.

Requesting a dev to work on something without a payout is like going to a mechanic and saying, "yeah I want my car to have 800HP, but I am not paying you for it. just do it. "
If you are wanting this done fast, get about 2 grand into a paypal and be ready to drop it for someone to work. These people do this stuff for free! Stop demanding!
When something is available then it will be posted. If you arent willing to work on it yourself, stop posting. The devs know what the community wants, they are not retarded. I really wish these posts would stop popping up.

Thats the idea behind eval-'s thread. If people want to pledge money to it and a developer wants to pick it up it happens.

Not that I entirely disagree people shouldn't ask to much of devs, but that statement doesn't work
a mechanic would do work on your car, and it would only be your car. A dev makes something once and everyone can use it. Surely you see a difference?
If you went to a mechanic and asked him to figure out how to make all of a certain model of car have 800HP, and he had the same model car, its a but of a different situation.
That said, whatever devs dev I'm happy with, just felt the need to point out the mechanic analogy doesn't suit this.

Bionic Webtop [Port Breaking Ground]

edit will be posted later tonight!!!
-Re-post of Original Text-
So I was looking around briefly and noticed Bionic has Maverick as most of you are aware and found the osh.img dump on their thread and thought (well Joe's webtop_mod uses a osh.img file to install...) so decided to try swapping the osh.img files and >,> what do you know it actually doesn't cause the Atrix to flip into a boot loop XD And shows their version of Webtop in the settings menu under Webtop version XO
Basicly looking to port the Bionic's Maverick Webtop to our phones, I understand Sogarth is working on porting the webtop2sd to the Bionic. I wanna start the effort to port the Maverick Webtop to our Atrix's, I mean as is the mount points/addresses shouldn't be too different. I doubt Moto went ahead and reinvented the wheel when it came to a Android/Webtop (Ubuntu) setup so it should come down to finding addresses and changing them accordingly.
Haven't tried anything else other than the install, in class then at work at a new location, so I doubt they'll let me turn off the U-verse demo to try out the Webtop >,>
Command line seems functional full webtop no so much

I Will have it up by tonight but I just got otta class and am on my way at a new location for work, I doubt they'll let me turn off the U-verse Demo to mess with this but I'll be able to compile the mods/patches and other fun stuff from work I promise!

Think about it more... And no, and don't care for HDMI mirroring. So that said find another thread for it.
Update have the command line down and functional, working on modding the .apk files to launch the right mount points but the first part of seeing if its even usable is confirmed, gonna work on the .apk files while at work to see what I can get done with it might need some help being I hate java and apk modding personally its complicated to me but I'll try my hand at it, basically use the bionic .apk files and set them up to run on the Atrix so that way you wouldn't have to find all the addresses the apk/script calls on within Webtop.

Okay here's a "overly smart answer" Webtop has nothing to do with HDMI mirroring they are two completely different functions that happen to use the HDMI cable. Your post is equal to assuming the entertainment center is the same as Webtop >,>

Still you haven't accomplished anything substantial or at least offered any proof of your accomplishment and you are already all over your head... *sigh*

Updated OP with pics of my current setup and I ask if your not constructive, just know I rather tell you to go fly a kite than to sit here waiting only 12 hrs to see results.
This is in the general section because there is very little done on this at the moment from my end I'm not sure what others are working on but I have yet to see a Maverick port from the Bionic underway, its no where near perfect and its to prove that flashing the Webtop from another working Moto/Webtop isn't a bad way to start than to sit around and asking for a upgraded native Ubuntu or using one of the image mods on a current native one.
The Docks do not work Lapdock/ or HD dock for this method though command line bashing into Webtop dose work and seems rather stable, no weirdness on my test Atrix though I have yet to move this to my main Atrix until I get a gui set up for it that will off set the lack of Webtop. Current stand point checking the class.dex files of the dock/portal .apk files for some sort of header id keys to change it from Bionic > Atrix. Not uploading the zip file I used to flash mine being that I believe a flash able zip should contain the correct dock/portal apk files for any release for now if you wanna try this create a backup of your current osh.img via
dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0p13 of=/sdcard/Originalosh.img

XDA is a development community, the devs are not here to educate noobs, maybe some come accross abit rude sometimes. But maybe it's because they have the same idiots asking the same stupid questions every single day. People that cannot even be arsed searching google before they ask these stupid questions. And you wonder why developers get annoyed when all there trying to do is develop something for the whole community, but there threads get bogged down with idiots?? How are they ment to share ideas with other devs when before they know it there thread had 100 pages of noob questions?

True, but...
I doubt that will apply in this case.
Why?
1. The OP is not a known developer
2. This post is not on the Development section
3. He went through leaps and bounds to explain the differences between webtop and hdmi mirroring instead of just answering the n00b question
In the end, being just a bit polite doesn't hurt anyone.
I suggest the OP to post his progress in the Dev section, where its "ok" to be rude.

It doesn't matter if he is a "known developer" or not, can you do the types of stuff he's talking about?
If you don't have any clue what the op is posting about you shouldn't be posting in the thread to begin with. If you don't know that there is a search button or how to use it you shouldn't be posting on xda at all. This does not apply to just this thread but all of xda.
Forgive my rudeness but some people just don't belong on xda and need to go to the motorolla forums where they belong. As Andro said before xda (not just the development section) is for development and those with that mind set.
You want people to be nice, don't post here with questions that could be answered via an xda or google search simple as that.

Now who's the rude one, sheesh? I never called you a noob, I asked you a question and you responded which to that I say thanks. My post was in general to xda, not directed toward you and I'm sorry if it seemed that way. I'm sure everyone on the xda forums appreciates all the roms that you've released and the help that you have provided keeping threads on topic from your 900+ posts.
I'm tired of going to a thread seeing that there is are new posts only to discover that its just another person requesting information that they could have easily found if they had used the search (or hell even searched google) and then the several posts afterwords bashing that person to oblivion or telling them the answer which throws the thread off topic and continues for several more pages worth of posts.
I'm pretty interested in this topic and I don't want this thread cluttered with questions that could be answered through simple searching as most of the other threads I monitor have been. Now could we please keep this on topic?
@crossix
Okay, apologies accepted... and I'm sorry for being rude too.. Let's keep this thread on topic then...
