Xpress mail retrieve limited to 3K

Hey all,
I have an AT&T Tilt which I use Xpress mail to download hotmail.
Trouble is that the 'mail filters' section limits retrieve to 3K
Right now it downloads the first 3K and then I have to wait many minutes before it will allow the rest of the message to download....
Is there a mod to increase the limit? I need 300K ideally.
Thanks,
Maria

Questions about HTC Hero Storage and Exchange Server mails

Hi all,
i recently setup my exchange-server connection, so i can check my office mails on the go.
Since i needed all of my mails i set the synchronization to "synchronize all emails", therefore about 8000 emails have been downloaded on the first sync.
(i set 5KB as maximum value for one single email).
My thought was: 8000*5KB = 40000KB = 40 MB so it should be no problem, since SYSTEM MONITOR shows: Storage - System 561 MB and Used 300 MB. So 261 MB storage should be still free.
But after syncing those 40 MB of emails i got a message saying: "nearly no memory left". How can this be? When i checked the android settings it said only says "16 MB free", while System Monitor still shows over 200 MB of free storage. I just don't get it.
Also is it possible to setup exchange-server connections so that not only attachements are saved to storage card but also all emails?

Dropbox

Hi!
For those who still does not have a Dropbox account, I have an invitation link for you. Just click here.
Please do register using that link as it will help me maximize the free GB of storage that I really need! Thanks!
For those whose not aware what Dropbox is and it's uses in the NookColor, you can do the ff:
1.Upload your files so you can sync them with multiple PCs/mobile devices.
2.Backup your apps in Dropbox using Titanium Backup, and sync/retrieve it anytime you want.
For those who has a question, just comment/pm me.
Using a referral to sign up for dropbox gets BOTH people extra space. I use dropbox frequently on my Nook, phone and both Windows and Mac PCs. Use this link and you get me and you an extra 250MB on top of the 2GB for signing up.
You can get even more free space by following the instructions here.

Windows mobile 6.5 & Outlook??

I have a problem with pop email on win. mobile 6.5. It (outlook)seems to be taking up phone memory rather than micro card memory. For the life of me, I can't seem to be able to reconfigure it so that it stores on the storage card and not phone memory.
It's now malfunctioning as phone memory is reaching peak utilisation. Can anyone instruct me as to how I can get this reconfigured so that mails are held in a folder on the storage card???
you need to go to the account option within Pocket Outlook, and there is one option to store the attachements in the SD card.

Hi there. It's not the attachments that are causing the problem - it's the actual mails themselves. I hardly have any mails with attachments - and in any event, have selected that option that you mention. There just doesn't seem to be an option to move the actual mails themselves to SD card storage...?
Hi, No option to move the emails to sd card.
The only you can do is limit it size and sync shorter period of time.
The phone is not made to download the whole inbox, I had mine set to 20 Kb max size and 4 weeks a sync and had no storage problems.

Ok, thanks. Have 2 x email accounts associated with outlook on the phone. I have reduced them down to 1 days worth - but maybe I will change this to max kb restriction instead.
I the meantime, I looked at what other 'crud' I could get rid of - not much to go on until I found temp i-net files - that cleared 30mb - can't believe there was so much in that - as only use the browser for webmail access 99% of the time.
Seems to have done the trick for now...

Worked for me, installing now on my PC! United Kingdom (living in Northern Ireland)
Nothing showing up in Ireland.
Although this phone is pissing me off so much I don't think I'll have it much longer
