I used it at CVS twice already and I get all kinda questions. There is a website showing all kinda new phone coming out soon with the NFC chip. So it is only a matter of time that google puts wallet on them.

haha, good call.
No issues at all. I know not every pay station is like this, but when I tapped it with the phone, about 7 green lights lit up on the pay station, then I think my phone said "Payment Sent" or "Done" or something of that nature.
The cashier must have seen it happen before, or he must have had google wallet, because he watched me do it and said "just tap it there".

i get lots of weird looks but no one has said anything. its like people are amazed that not only is there other phones besides the iphone but that other phones can do thing the iphone cant

I always tell my cashiers after the payment has been made, "didn't know I could do that" and smile at them. ;-)

I used it at Tim Horton's the other day. I told the girl at the cash I was paying with PayPass then pulled out my phone, "Payment Sent", done. She gave me a look like "What are you doing, you can't do that" then the receipt when the receipt started printing she just looked shocked. But the best part of it all was when the lady behind me said "Oh is that the new iPhone? My husband has the old one so I', going to get him that one for his birthday." I'm like no its the Nexus S!! HAHAHAH

The best is when they think the nexus is an iphone then ask why can our "iphone" do things theirs cant. if they are one of those people who dont know much about different phones and OS i like to tell them they need to get an app called android hehe

i used it at mcdonalds yesterday for the first time
the casier girl was in uttered shock that i had used my phone to pay for an purchased haha

I used mine at Hess gas station I bought 2 Dutch Master Blunts Hawaiian punch a twix & toilet paper the people at the store where bugging I told them if you want this get Android not iPhone & the best part is you can get the nexus for free with 2 year contract or upgrade!

well i was sorta jacked around yesterday, ill be a bit happier if and when i get my phone today. it's just all the mis info i was given that set me off. nobody seems to be on the same page with sprint. this was more of a rant video than anything. didn't expect it would piss off soo many sprint fans. oh well, life goes on. it's pretty common knowledge sprint has horrid customer service skills. i honestly had no idea the store i went to was a 3rd party because they only sell sprint phones and i was told before they are officially sprint, not some 3rd party rip off.
some really immature responses on the video, i expected better from adults. i have every reason to vent like most of you do.
Wow. Whine much? Not exactly end of the world situation there, and stepping on pile of crap is part of life.

This service does seem bad, but why was it necessary to have the phone in 1 day? If you order it online it usually takes at least 2 days, probably more. Plus you already have your old phone, so what was the urgency?

So i was leaving for work yesterday and laid my xoom on my fender and went around to the other side to strap my daughter into her carseat...dropped her off at daycare and get halfway to work when i realized i never got my xoom off my fender. So i pulled over and pretty much had a panic attack then sped home to look for it..long story short, it was nowhere to be found..backtracked my route 3 times and found nothing...i had no insurance on a 2 year contract...moral of the story is..get insurance people because im not even done paying for it and i now have no xoom and a data plan to pay for until my contract is out...i still feel sick to my stomach thinking about it

ATRIX is my LAST Motorola product

So my phone has this problem of only intermittently vibrating when I get a text/call. So I got an RMA and sent it in. First off, the lost it, and took several days and several phone calls to find somebody who was able to locate my phone. They then told me that it was not under warranty because it was physical damage. They said the main board was bent. Somehow I was apparently able to bend the phone enough to bend the main board but not crack the screen or back or anything else. So they said they could sell me a phone for $179 (no way). Sounds like crap to me........ I'll be buying Samsung next time.

Except Samsung has always been on top of updates. The only time Samsung hasn't had a timely update was due to networks, namely AT&T, not approving of the update for a long time.

I'm Going To Rectify A Mistake Tomorrow

I got The HTC One and contacted EE to cancel the contract and take the phone back as I changed my mind.
With the phonebeside me in its box, I've just had to have a play with it and now I'm gutted to be sending it back.
It's absolutely stunning, I've never seen or held such a wonderful device.
I'm wondering now as I've been sent a returns bag etc, charge it up and hope EE will let me keep it or send it back and get another one.
So... why are you sending it back?
Um yeah.... Some more details perhaps?

Was wondering if I contacted them could I uncancel or simply send it back and start again.

Just phone EE again say you changed your mind, you decided to stay with them, they would be more than happy to let you stay. I don't see why there would be any problem. Very likely they would let you keep the phone then just start a new contract, cos technically only until you returned the phone your contract is fully stopped, they may be able to reverse it at this stage.

No he started a thread saying he ordered the ONE and then before getting it he changed his mind thinking he would be ok with the iphone 5 so he calls in and has them cancel the new contract and send him a return kit. He then gets the ONE and being a phone junkie like all of us on XDA he HAS to play with and realizes that he loves the ONE and does not want to use his iphone 5 anymore but as he said he already called in to cancel so what does he do??? Which has been answered so next time you wish to bash someone or talk crap maybe sharpen up on your reading comprehension skills.
Don't really think OP is trying to be a troll or anything.. i think he/she is just confused and didn't know how awesome of a phone it was till he/she used it..
Which is what you suppose to do with any new phone, you read up on it, find features you like, buy it, get used to it.. decided should you keep it..
Not order a phone, decide to return it.. then want to use it and realize its a great phone

OnePlus One's Trip to the Apple Store

So yesterday I had to go to the Apple Store to pick up warranty for my Macbook. While I was there I had to use my phone real quick to pull up a confirmation number. The Genius/Specialist helping me, took a look at my OPO and asked what phone it was. I told him all about it: the company, the phone's price, build, specs, and mission behind the phone. None of them believed me that the OPO cost as little as it does given the specs, and its unlocked I even pulled up the website on one of the display Macbooks. I kid you not atleast 3-4 other specialists and genius bar guys took a look at my phone and played with it, they felt the Sandstone back and were amazed by the build quality. They all wanted to know how they could buy a OPO and one of the specialists even said "I wish Apple would do something like this with the iPhone 6."
Apart from the invite system, supply, and some issues with the Yellow Banding. The OnePlus One is a definite game changer.

Especially caseless as mine is right now.
After showing coworkers and managers my Nexus 5, and now my Oppo, along with their prices, the company I started working for which is 90% iPhones may be converting soon.
These phones are a absolute steal at the prices they sell them for.

So far I've got the two IT managers and my wife who want to switch to the OPO after seeing/handling mine. I figured this was gonna happen.
The phone's back is a feature in it's own self. Very unique and i've never felt anything like it before.
Next time. just rub it in their faces.

Yeah, the IT manager in my division basically pulled a double take on my OPO and then his jaw dropped when I told him how much I paid for it (and how quickly I received it - we're in China, so opposite experience as OPO ex-China, and Xiaomi *in* China)

The big question is.... did he ask for a invite afterwards?
But honestly, I think OnePlus should be giving out more invites and maybe even have a referral kinda system going on involving rewards. Its not much effort to impress somebody with the phone either, its so unique just by looking at it.
I think that's cool that they showed interest openly like that. I would expect the typical reaction from a Genius to be a barely discernable roll of the eyes and refusing to touch it because it's not Apple branded. The OPO is a very nice looking phone, I'm not surprised that many Apple fans will be interested in it.

I was in a phones4you store(UK) yesterday and a couple of the guys in there were looking at my opo and to my amazement one of them rubbed it on his face which took me by surprise, I didn't know what to say to him.
They both thought that it was super smooth but one of them who has a note 3 thought that it was big but I didn't say anything as I was still shocked by him rubbing it on their face.
Plus one of them changed the profile on the phone when they were looking at it and after I got home it took me 30 minutes to figure out why I wasn't getting notifications for my emails.
