Screen is coming apart - crappy repair Service - Thrive General

So long story short, my thrives screen is coming apart! It appears the glass is separating from the touch screen... i guess ( see pic below)
I called toshiba and they make me give them all my info and then tell me before they can help me i must register the device ( not even 6 months old )
I then get transfered to register the device and again get transfered back to support......
After i give them my info for the third time and explain my problem they put me on hold to see if it is covered under warrenty.
The lady comes back and tells me that that is not covered under my warrenty! It is not considered normal wear and tear....... You damn right its a defect.!
I then asked to speak to a manager because i baby my electronics! supposedly one will call me in the next 2 hrs to 2 working days.........
Sooooooo frustrated!

How to repair Exec

I recently broke my exec see the pic below. As i was putting the charger in the port inside went back into the ex and now I can't charge it. Does anyone know how I can repair this or is there anywhere I could send it. O2 said it does not come under my warranty which I was a bit mad about.

Hi,
I believe you need to point out that is a manufacturing flaw and that the connector has lifted from the tracks. I am aware of them trying to say its been mistreated. Their is no reinforcement to hold the connected and as such really isnt up to the task... I have an XDA Exec and am super super careful when connecting...
I am aware of another XDA Exec that suffered the same fate and was giving the same warranty response. However this was eventually fixed under warranty for the description above.
Hope that may help you....

Batterycover bent?

Just noticed that one of the sides of the batterycover is bent. The phone is barely 3 days old. I bent it a little to fix it temporarily, but now I want a new batterycover (or two). Anyone know where to buy more of these?

What the hell did you do with it ??
Can't imagine that it got bent spontaneously
Oh gosh... Best bet is to go to HTC directly? I once lost a cover to a phone in the past and my service provider wouldn't give me a new one.
Well, I bent it perfectly back in shape. Well, 90% perfectly. I still want to buy another one or two, just in case.
Also, are there any online stores in Europe that sells screenprotection?

My Samsung Focus AMOLED burned after 25 days

Saturday last week, my Samsung Focus burned the display itself after 25 days old in Vietnam (I bought it from AmazonWireless on Jan 08, unlocked it with fastgsm). Right now, after turned on it displays nothing and the burned conner become very hot that I have to unplug its battery.
I sent an email with pictures to Samsung US but they refused and asked me to call them (pictures are thousand words but they didn't accept??? ). I wonder if there is anyone has the same problem to me and how Samsung resolve it.
Thanks

Good thing you have a warranty. I would take advantage of it.
what you dont understand is samsung cannot do something with just a picture... they have to have the phone in hand to make the decision....

wired light leak on the left side of my phone (could be a gap)

before we start i read all the topics and even read the official LIGHT LEAK from samsung it isnt like that and i havent seen any pics like mine!
so i just got this phone (10days i assume) and yesterday in dark i noticed this leak when birghtness got up and thought its a edge thing but today i took these pics and compared to the others its not that NORMAL thingy and im worried that i should replace it! damn!

help me guys!! what am i supposed to do with this ? is it sealed enough for IP68 ?
Dude if you have the slightest doubt, just return it.
Ask for a new one, And show them the defect.
if it effects it or not, Am sure you dont want to find out its not water resistant when you need it.
