Hi, i just unlocked my X8's bootloader and it won't see my SIM card anymore :| what should i do?
I fixed it, i didn't ran msm7227_semc.cmd, that's why it wouldn't see my sim ^_^
Thanks XDA devs for Unlockable Bootloader I hope the Custom Kernels will soon be available for X8

when I purchased the Samsung Focus phone,
it had SIM Lock on it , which I unlocked by
using the UNLOCK PIN ..
want to know if it will get re-locked after WP7 Update . . .

If you got the unlock code once, I would think it would be able to unlocked again if the update relocked you.
I've been watching a few blogs on the update topics, I have not seen anything about sim-relocking yet.
But keep in mind, it seems that not that many people have been sim unlocked, you might be in the minority of Samsung Focus users!
If you do the update, let us know your results.
if you are talking the network unlock...no updates wont re lock it. unless you put the correct diag code then enter the unlock code it wont re lock.... now sim lock is different that is a code that locks the use of a sim card unless a 4 digit code is entered... if you disabled it, it wont come back unless you enable it again...
The unlock codes are not as hard to come by anymore. Lots of different websites and people even on ebay. I used Fastgsm but if it re-locks. oh well. Doubt it will though from what other users have said of other phones

since NODO is out, wanna know if installing NODO will re-lock my phone...

sim unlocked.
Installed nodo yesterday.
Still sim unlocked.
By chance can you tell me if you are getting a Roaming Triangle?
Do you have a focus from Rogers (paid to have it unlocked) using it with another provider?

No roaming triangle with Telus sim.
i unlock my focus troough fastgsm and after install NoDo (force update) and the phone still unlocked.
Hi all, Is it possible to unlock my BL on my X10. I unlocked my phone via MultiUnlockClient and before Xmas people said it was not possible to unlock my X10 unless i unlock it again via SEtools. Has this changed yet. I have been away for a while as i have not realy bothered with my phone much but now i want to try and unlock my BL again.

guys it's my first post here..
i installed a custom rom on my motorola defy without taking a backup of stock rom. now, after installing a jellybean custom rom my defy is asking for a SIM unlock network PIN.
I searched over internet that flashing a stock rom again may unlock my phone. but i have no idea which stock rom to flash?
so, if i come to know about t-mobile uk or usa version than i can download the respective stock rom for motorola defy.
i am providing the following information that might be helpful and identifying whether it's usa or uk.

Don't post imei/etc online. The only way that your defy is asking for SIM unlock code is that if it wasn't ever fully unlocked(only soft unlocked).
It will NOT get magically unlocked by a stock rom.
You can search for soft SIM unlock for defy which will need to be done after every rom installation, or obtain the unlock code online(paid).

thank you for your response, i will search over internet to resolve to issue.
previously it was working with all networks sim cards in stock 2.2 froyo, as i installed custom jellybean in it, since that day it is asking for SIM network unlock PIN.. i tried installing stock rom again but still no change. how can i get it working again ? i don't want to buy unlock code.
