Hi all,
I have just installed AcesMod007 ROM which is a mix of Sense 2.1 and 3.0
I've been using the 3D ROM that had the new version of stocks widget, but i have switched ROMs and i don't want to reinstall 3D to extract the widget.
Can anyone send me the htc.com.stocks widget apk for htc desire ?

I have seen a widget on some custom roms like Modaco R9 and Lambros. The widget is by HTC it's the "call mom" widget. Apparently it was released for other HTC sense devices but not officially on the Desire.
I have seen an app on the market but it doesn't work on the desire I am running the AuraxTsense 8.0 ROM.
i also tried to extract the .apk from the pre-baked rom Lambros and to run it on my desire but it refused to install, after it asks for permissions it gives me message "app not installed"
I wonder if anyone has managed to install this widget without loading the pre-baked roms, I prefer my current rom and don't want to change it just for this widget.

I tried them as well but this widget "call mom" as well as some of the others (fake call) does not work neither, could there be an issue with AuraxTsense specifically? I had this widget working fine on Modaco's R9

I have upgraded cmy htc magic os to cyanogenmod recently and I am really enjoying it. However I feel I am missing HTC stock software like friendstream, HTC keyboard ,album etc.
Is there any way to install those apps in cyanogenmod 6.1 ? Where can I download those from?

You can't. Each HTC app requires the htc framework and resources that is only available in SenseUI roms. There are some exceptions however such as the HTC Music app. But the widget apps are available ONLY with the Rosie.apk file which requires the HTC framework.

htc desire hd ... with android revolution 5.1.5 and the CodeRed Theme.
ah i have 2.1 Sense installed ... can i upgrade to 3.0 sense,
so the softwareinformation shows 3.0 instead of 2.1 sense?
i want to have the new sense 3.0 lockscreen with the icons, which i can pull into the ring to activate them.
But how i can change the locksreen?
first i flashed:
HTC Sense 3.0 SMS Interface (version 0.4) for Android Revolution HD 5.1.x with no framework interference
then:
HTC Sense 3.0 Weather (version 0.5) for Android Revolution HD 5.1.x
then:
HTC Sense 3.0 Lock-Screen (version 0.10) for Android Revolution HD 5.1.x
but where i can change the lockscreen?
anywhere in the setup?
i rebooted, but i cant change the lockscreen, have no setting in personlize-setup
or should i flash the addon in a another order?
and is the addon: "RosieTrans5KD" and "Sense3_Mms-0.3" needed?

There are a lot of new versions of the add-ons you want to use. I'd give it a go updating them all through, then checking your settings to see if you get the proper menu for the Lock Screen. Make sure to use Kingdoms version or you won't get this. MMS is required for this though, but the new version will stop any type of FC which used to be caused by notifications,

Glad it's solved, but care to post what was done for future reference ?
I installed seo's mod TB Fusion http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1077180&highlight=weather+wallpaper which is desire hd sense 2.1 with sense 3.0 elements, like weather and lockscreen with icons like you described. You can find it in rom manager too. Great rom!

noob question: I would like to make a skin for Sense 2.1 (Desire HD) using the textures from the stock Sense 2.1 skin. In my "system/app" folder I can't seem to find these however (I can find metal.apk, slate.apk, etc.). Can anyone tell me where to find the stock textures, or upload them for me? I don't wanna root my phone though.
Any help would be great.
i just installed Pyramid HTC Europe 1.35.401.1 - Real 3D V2.3 rom on my tmobile hd2 everything is working perfect but the weather widget just has black screen wen i click on it there are no animations n no demo? does anyone know of a fix????

Flash this link through CWR. It will fix the weather issue.....

Either flash the patch linked to by Yerdan, which would be the quickest/easiest route.
Alternatively, you can go back to the original thread, and download the new version (Pyramid HTC Europe 1.35.401.1 - Real 3D V2.3b) with the fix already applied.
