T.mobile MDA debranding/flashing

Hi there, a newbie here!
I have just got myself a MDA, and i have the following questions.
How do i debrand / flash it?
Are there any do's and dont? I have only installed the activesync and that's all ive done, the phone appears to be slow so any help appreciated thanks.

I have, but i cant seem to find what im after.
PS
I am a complete novice with this phone....a virgin.

In all honesty, you really should spend a couple of weeks reading the forums before you flash your phone.
If you don't then I can see your next thread will be cursing at us because we didn't tell you properly and now you've bricked your phone.
The "Wizard Upgrading" Forum contains more information than you will need.
Search for "CID Unlocking" that would be a good start.

I've been reading for weeks and just flashed mine for the 1st time 3 days ago. So far all is PERFECT. So much better.
It will be all good. Make sure you back your sh*t up!!!!

Whats flashing?

I believe flashing is the inappropriate exposure of privates - I don't mean the military kind. OF course it is also referred to the process of updating the ROM of an electronic device.

Which "that" are you referring to?
1. Exposing your privates in a not so private manner.
2. Flash a Rom onto your Device.
3. Read, read and then read a bit more until you understand what you want to do.

there is allready a tutorial, use the search to find it, or go to the fpsce forum

i dont mind helping but not when they show no sign of atleast attempting it themselves

to be honest, i thought the request for help was a fair one. i have not been able to get this working properly either, and although a noob phonewise am pretty much ok pc wise.
snag with this site is that some people are very helpful, and others post arrogantly and pointlessly. if you dont want to help, just dont post.

its not what he asked for, its the way he asked for it, its just struck me as lazy and showed no sign of atleast attempting it himself.

perhaps so, but would it not have been better to find out levels of understanding first? perhaps the howto guide is not in their first language or something.

Hmm... I'm not really sure what the hell your talking about, all I did was post a link and doubt it's functionality with our devices since it was done with a Vibrant. I'd test the method myself if I was more comfortable with Odin and ADB but unfortunately I'm not a mad scientist like half the guys on this site. I merely wanted guidance like 80% of us who don't know what we're doing. Forgive me needing assistance.

dude the first words out of the guy in the videos mouth say he is using a tmobile vibrant not a fascinate, it has been established all over that the fascinate root method is different so no it wont work

i just tried it with a buddy and it didnt work. sorry. but let me know if anyone has better luck.

I hate when people think that since the fascinate is a galaxy s "Variant" its supposed to work with anything from all other galaxy s phones.
Just like dumb htc users that swear all htc phones can run same roms, root etc.

I reread my comment to you earlier and it sounded maybe harsher than was meant but the site i left is different than yours but someone said they have tried and it didnt work. I am aware it was a vibrant but the cat said it would also work on ours. No hard feelings.

Rooting my phone?

Hello guys.
(I tried to post 3 links but I couldn't since I'm a new user)
I recently upgraded my Note 3 from KitKat to Lollipop using this firmware and following some steps on sammobile.
I thought that I had rooted my phone but apparantly not, as a kind redditer explained to me here my thread was called "supsersu doesnt work since i upgraded to 5.0" on the /AndroidQuestions section.
He also adviced me to join XDA forums if I need help and that's why I am here. Basically I need to root my Note 3 to version 5.0 using Odin. The only problem is that I have Odin on my computer ( Here was a picture of my Odin map on my computer ) but I cant see the root file there? So my question is basically: How/Where do I find the root file?
I tried searching some on the forum but I guess my searching skills are terrible as I couldn't find something (and I'm pretty sure it should be somewhere here, so yeah my searching skills probably suck).

I wrote a thread and asked politely for help and I explained that my technological skills were bad. I even wrote:

New LineageOS released yesterday, any news on the speakers being fixed here?

Hey all, first time signing up and stuff but been reading a lot of posts recently as I'm interested in rooting my phone for the first time.
Basically as the title suggests, has the new LineageOS that was released yesterday done anything for the speakers? I had heard they had fixed the fingerprint scanner issue, is this also the case?

read where? I've been searching all day waiting to find the answer to this question, like literally ALL day as it's the only thing stopping me doing it here and now. Not to mention I was very clear that I'm a complete noob with all this stuff at the moment, so I could use some pointers on where to read and such, perhaps a link or something? And, FYI, my reading skills are fine thanks, just a noob trying to learn here
