Hi,
Before starting anything,BACKUP YOUR DATA.
Download THIS TOOL
Flash radio...download HERE Enter bootloader:hold down volume button when you power on phone. When you are on tri-color screen, insert cable to usb. When screen changes from "serial"to "usb",proceed.
Open HD2 Installer:
Task 29 (Enter bootloader:as above)
HSPL 2.08 HSPL (Enter bootloader:as above)
MAGLDR (Enter bootloader:as above)
(when magldr has loaded, power on and enter by holding power button until you see magldr screen.)
(when this is done,Go to ad recovery>advanced>Partition SD Card.1024m with 0 cache)
Repartition according to ROM requirements.(via number 5 usb flasher)
Then go to ad recovery and wipe data, cache partition, and dalvik(advanced).
Then go to install zip from sd card (which you should have placed on the root of your sd card)
reboot.
Give it time. Some ROMS take 15-20 minutes to install.

urgent information needed! primarily, , whats your partition size?
Do you have made following steps, which i have extracted from this thread:

____________________
For MAGLDR NAND Boot;
1. Download recovery with partition size for the type of rom you plan on using, see guide below if unsure.
2. Extract downloaded file and load magldr into USB Flasher mode.
3. Run DAF.exe and follow instructions
4. After completed and phone reboots, hold power key and select AD Recovery from list
5. Recovery will now load
____________________
To run the DAF.exe, you must be administrator, otherwise you get an error message.
Before starting and this is the question of samsamuel, you must have the correct partition configuration. You can edit it in the flash.cfg and the information for the entries you can find in the description of your choosen rom

[Q] [HELP][LG L5 E610V][CWM] Impossible to boot into CWM

Hi there,
this is my first post bu I have been playing with my LG L5 e610v for long time. I have had installed CyanogenMod 10.1, 10.2 and 11.
This last time, I came back to the stock rom and now is impossible for me to boot into CWM.
I have tried:
Installing a KDZ with a rooted stock rom with CWM
Copying using adb and dd command many differents CWM images (6.0.28, 6.0.4.7)
Using rommanager app
but always the result is the same: I boot to recovery and it gets stuck in the LG logo. I have to switch off and switch on again and the stock ROM starts again, but no way to boot CWM.
I have tried even overwritting emmc_appsboot.img, but no results.
Please, could you help me? I need CWM for installing CyanogenMod again.
try this, extract cwm and copy the image file to your internal sd card, open terminal emulator and type following line
dd if=/sdcard/recovery.img of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p17
than enter
after this type reboot recovery and your phone reboots to it
It worked!! But I cannot understand... why it works using the terminal emulator and not using adb??
Thank you very much!
maybe anything was wrong with installer script or something, glad to see its solved.greeetz
I really dont understand. copying the img using dd works only 1 time. The second time, If I tried to boot (using key combination or writing reboot recovery in the terminal emulator) it gets stuck again in the LG logo. I have to copy again the image for start CWM again...
Any ideas why this is happening?
have u tested with format system before flash cwm, maybe there is a weird rest from an programm or something which blocked, but i never have see it?
After a hundreds of removes and installations, formatting and everything now is working fine. I cannot say what solved the problem, but definitely using terminal emulator was a huge step hehe
thanks!
great, now you can start to flash custom roms, the journey begins........

[Q] Htc hd2 freeze at Go Go Go aMagldr

Hi al how are u. My htc hd2 is stuck at the aMgldr . Boot ad sd and boot ad nand both doesnt work. I dont kno why bt. Wen i select them on scren it does goes any forward from the 123456 Go Go Go and is stuck at that screen. Anyone knows any soluton are more than welcome to share plz:
Have you tried re-flashing magldr?
Yes tried everythng from hspl.. bt still same prblm any idea.. hrlp plz
Iss my moble dead..? Or may i try windwz stock...?
You could try windows stock to boot android via haret, note; kernels >2.6.32 won't boot from haret
Or clk.
It might be that you have developed a bad block in the area of nand where magldr is loaded.
You might be able to check this by booting android, installing an app (eg catlog i think, or logcat extreme) which can show dmesg logs and searching for "bad block" in the output.

You can use clk to boot NativeSD and SD builds, you just need to put the initrd.gz and zImage in the /sdcard/NativeSD folder, create an sboot nand partition in clk and use flash_sboot_v2 to create a boot.img in the sboot partition, and boot it from there using clk. You can have different NativeSD roms/sd builds booting from different partitions, tboot, uboot, vboot etc
Read the clk thread for more info.
I had the same Problem ...
Well ... I Had such problem and when I Hard reseted and then Did a T29 and finally re flashing MAGLDR solved mine

Ported by Danct12 his Discord: https://discord.gg/SXcJqK and Asriel
This is not my work I only compiled it
IMPORTANT: THIS BUILD IS OUTDATED Developer of this rom officially released it: https://forums.ubports.com/topic/3682/xiaomi-redmi-4x-santoni
Instalation
Just flash zip file in TWRP
You don't have to wipe anything
Note: installation won't format /data , /system , /vendor partition. So you won't lose data but make backup anyway.
What's not working
Bluetooth
Screen rotation
Sound
USB MTP
Probably USB HDMI desktop mode (not tested)
etc
Password and username
Default username is: phablet
Default password is: toor
(password can be chanched with sudo passwd phablet command)
Dual boot (this is not officially supported method, I found it myself)
(Sometimes this doesn't work reinstalling Android should fix it)
Make a backup of boot partition in recovery before installing Ubuntu Touch
Then flash Ubuntu Touch zip file
To boot Android restore boot partition backup from recovery
To get back to Ubuntu Touch flash boot.img as boot partition (scroll down for download)
APT-GET fix
To get apt package manager working you need to make root of Ubuntu Touch writable
Type these commands to terminal:
sudo mount -o remount,rw /
sudo touch /userdata/.writable_image
SSH
To SSH into Ubuntu Touch connect phone to PC.
IP of the device is 10.15.19.82
Type ssh [email protected] in terminal default password is toor
Sound and Bluetooth fix
Follow APT-GET instructions upper in this post.
Open terminal app and type sudo apt upgrade

Even if it's not stable for moment...
Well, stuck on boot logo...
Flashed above Miui 10 stable.
edit 2 working for me, only after full wipe and clean flash.
Looks nice, I didn't try a lot of time, but I like interface. I'll wait anbox working good to flash rom again.
edit 3 : dual boot works with lineage OS ! Great !

Recovery is volume up and down at some time. Are you sure you choosed boot partition when flashing boot.img . You can try flash recovery and the boot.img with fastboot. If nothing helps try flashing stock room with miflash.
Hi,
It is not written specifically in the installation instructions, do I have to install also boot.img after flashing the ununtu touch zip? (I thought I have seen something about boot.img during flash of the zip)
I had RevengeOS 10.0 custom ROM installed, then in TWRP I have just flashed UnuntuTouch zip, then rebooted and was also stuck at the Mi screen without anything happening.
The phone does not boot into recovery just by pressing power+volume up, I used "fastboot boot recovery.img" and I reflashed RevengeOS - but power+volume up+volume down boots into TWRP.
Thank you

So you flashed both zip and img and still no luck? Have you resolved the problem, does at least your previous ROM work?
Maybe this is not compatible with all of the custom ROMs... in previos posts it seems clean flash helps - I will try official Lineage OS, with flashing both Ununtu zip and boot.img.
Thank you

Hi, I did exactly that:
1) I have TWRP 3.3.1-0 and latest Lineage OS 16 installed
2) I flash Ubuntu zip without wiping anything - I am stuch at the initial MI logo
3) I tried to flash boot.img on top of that - still no luch, stuck at the initial MI logo
I have backup of Lineage OS, so no problem (just need to carefully press volume up+volume down+power to get to recovery)
but I would like to find out what is the proble and try Ubuntu...
Thank you
Maybe you could try another recovery ? Like Orangefox ?
