3.0 or 3.1 kernel ?

It's 3.1 source

compiled & tested
all works fine
MDJ's V1 release soon...

In my opinion, the A500 hardware, combined with fully functional CWM and available kernel source puts this very much in the running for best tablet out. The source was holding us back.

[Q] Anyone working on ice cream sandwich 4.0 for ZTE Blade?

Hi to all our dear developers,
I have started this thread to ask who all are working on development of Ice Cream Sandwich ROM for ZTE Blade?
In case you need any support in testing the ROM, I would be more than happy to volunteer.
Best,
Yatin

the honeycomb sdk was compiled for arm v6, the ics sdk was compiled for arm v7. zte blades only have an arm v6 processor.
so, we need the source code so that it can be recompiled for our arm v6 phones. There's a little bit more to it than that, so don't expect ics for the blade on the same day as the source code is released, but we need the source code before we can start work on a blade version.
hopefully we'll get a working port of cm9 (which will be based on ics).

once he's worked it out the source code for cm9 will be available, then you can use that.
using the aosp source code, once you have it booting there are still other problems to fix, like the touch screen, audio & ril.
everyone involved with cyanogenmod should be very busy fixing those problems, so it's best to leave them to it if you can't help them. they don't need to be bothered with questions.

[PORT][WIP] ICS SDK Port for the HP TouchPad

This is built from the SDK port for the HTC Sensation, combined with the boot.img and other data from the Cyanogenmod 7.1 Alpha 2.1 release for the TouchPad. I've replaced a bunch of the files in an effort to get it to boot, but no dice so far.
Also, I can't seem to get my TouchPad to restore from a Clockwork backup - it works, but it blackscreens and hard-reboots just like this does.
Would love for some help getting it up and running.

afaik faux's and the cm kernels that are based upon his kernels have a lot of stuff ported or even used directly from the lg o2x sources, so modding the sources that lg will hopefully release soon make it easier for devs to get it to work, yet is still a huge amount of work for them.

You will have to wait for Official ICS from Moto for now. Kernel is enough proper ICS HWaccel support. And FP was succesfully ported to CM7; My guess its that it can also be ported to CM9/10 with that code. We need to find a dev willing to do it though. Turl1 was trying to port FP over to CM9. I don't know if he is working on it anymore.

Dude, it was almost done. Turl1 even showed screenshots of FP running on ICS if im not mistaken. I don't remember well because im not a huge fan of FP so i didn't pay much attention to it.
What i meant about the kernel was that if we got a 2.6.36 kernel with proper ICS libs, we would have fully working CM10/9, which is a great thing because most custom roms are based on CM.

Latest CM10 nightlies already use the source which they got leaked.
does it mean CM can incorporate FM radio in the rom since the source is out?
Why does everyone assume the CM10 team now can perform magic just because the kernel sources are out? Do remember that Exynos is still undocumented and CM10 will never (not even when hell freezes over) be 100% perfect. Though, it's perfect enough already to permanently ditch touchwiz.
They should put more energy in to releasing jellybean to use all now this is released
CM team already had these sources so it doesnt add anything to cm10.
