I bricked mine and have just ubricked it. Its easy, connect USB to PC, enter bootloader, run any RUU wizard.
* Enter bootloader - Press and hold the camera key, then press the soft reset button. Hold the camera button until the bootloader menu shows it. You will see 3 different gradient colors.

I think, it's a good idea. Actually I thought about something like your thread but if you don't mind I will say something in your thread.
I've got the same problem as you've got. Moreover, I've seen a lot of users posting on this forum, which have got such a problem with their Heralds. They boot only in tri-color bootloader mode and even RUU dedicated to our models doesn't work, saying Error 300. When we are trying to use MTTY to run getdevinfo command, as a result we can see error message. That's why RUU can't check the right CID in our devices.
All known solution for Heralds don't work with our problem. We should develop or wait for being developed by someone (Olipro,pof,mestrini,...) suitable solution. There are fine solutions for bricked Wizard or Hermes so it should be the way to unlock our Heralds, too.
My idea is to count all users with bricked Heralds to see the size of the problem and to show our great developers on this forum that it is important to find a way to unbrick our Heralds. Or maybe we should establish the prize for the person who will be the first in finding the unbricking method and than donate him? I think it could motivate some of them...
So, all bricked Herald's users, please leave your post in this thread, to show the world that this is a huge problem!

I was thinking in something.. Do u remember PDAVIET first version for Prophet? You cannot flash PDAVIET WM6 directly.. U have to flash a special PDAVIET WM5 to prophet first, then PDAVIET WM6. And... when u got a bricked prophet device, the solution is...? PDAVIET WM5 special rom

Forced RUU? I know that the Univesal has an RUU to bypasses any and all checks and just starts flashing the ROM. I wonder if this would help... I assume the IPL is still fine unless it was overwritten in your devices because it's in a different memory address in devices with an SPL lower than 4.0.0.0. We would have to create our own RUU, though.
EDIT: After some research, this will not work. If the radio was damaged but the radio bootloader was not, there might still be hope, if the radio bootloader was damaged, then it's a no go.
Ive tried with Bepe's RUU (Polaris Premium BEPE ROM) but have no luck... maybe i should try to patch IPL/SPL in RUU check

no bro, i just not find some support on the members. none of the mods has been presented a "suggestion" to fix our devices. Ive talked with OliPro, seems he have a solution for that, but he's working hard on it. Maybe he can provide some solution for us

hello everyone.... i have problem with unlocking my hd2(wp7) ... problem started on chevron. I activated wp7, made partnership with zune, installed cers on my device, problem started when i wanted to unlock my device. I runned chevronwp7 and when i pressed unlock it says "uh oh" message ( sorry i have trouble communicating with ur phone make sure it is connected to usb and make sure zune is running) ....
so if anyone knows this problem, pls explain all about it(market, chevron, xbox live, zune sync), so lost souls like im can understand, it would be realy helpfull thx ! cheers !

Second: If you have problem Unlocking your phone please flash those custom Roms that have the Unlock hack built in! You can find them here:

Just flash the 2nd one and everything should work just fine!
No need to Unlock your phone with Chevron anymore.. just flash and play!
Haha... there are really some specialists who have god-ish capabilities when it comes to our phones...
Now, concerning your issue, I would suggest you simply install the "custom ROM" which is offered by one (some?) of these god-ish people - because all the Chevron stuff is cooked into the ROMs...
Go here, download, and flash like you did the first time... I took moonlight, very decent WP7 ROM.
All you need is the activation code if you want to use Live services.

Dude as our freind " arkatis " said just install one of the first custom roms and all of that issues will gone ! Moon light worked for me keep us updated

I have Xperia X2, updated with the only available update of SE; it really sucks. I have just finished hard resetting it for God knows what was wrong with it. Anyways, I really need a clean version of windows mobile (don't care even if it is WM5), and how to flash it onto this piece of crab.
I will appreciate any help.

I have xperia x2 ,and when i tried to change the language,there was some error and now when I start my phone there is only Sony Ericsson logo it won't go further than that on sony ericsson update it says that everything is ok and that my phone has the latest software. You can try to reflash. Click on continue to flash again. Cross fingers and good luck.

2.In my town there isnt any JTAG or other BOX
3.In my country ( Bosnia ) there isnt any motherboard for t-mobile HD2
4.Im have no money for service AGAIN
5.Im wont quit!
Problem: Im have HTC HD2 T-mobile! First,my phone starts to freeze and restarts...im wanted to install NAND android, but after installation it wont start, stuck at MAGLDR and error '' E1 FATAL ERROR''..
Then im tried stock software from T-mobile page, but stuck at 0%...tried tast29 stuck at 0%..tried new radio,stuck at 0%..and last thing what im was do is '' Reflash HSPL3''... when im flashed my phone vibrates 7 times and died!
Now no boot at all, now charge at all! Im can fead little vibration, but nothing happend's!
IF i need i will open phone and repait my self motherboard! Just dont tell me '' Theres nothing to do''..
I seed some guy who saved many bricked Xperias phone by some '' test points '' and pc software! TOTALY DEAD XPERIAS
Any advice is helped me, if you dont have some fix or advice, dont post reaply please.. im was seen some guys who saved this HD2 without service!

Wow... you have exactly same story as mine... I ****ed up my phone today, it was working fine. My phone is not even 4 months old (TMou HD2) and today it gave up hard on me.
Now, it won't go past HTC Logo (splash screen). I have been reading stuffs and trying to do magic, let's see what happens.
If I get to fix it, I promise I will post the solution. Stay tuned

I hate to say it but I don't see any way out of this for you I'm afraid. Without JTAG your device is completely bricked. The best you can do now is sell it online as a bricked device and hope someone wants it.
Man there isnt JTAG here,ho want to buy bricked HD2.. im can get only 60$ for it! Somebody says my motherboard die, somebody im must du it with JTAG!
This post here is to help every other member with HD2!
We need some fix or just to try,,,

Tried everything including "Try to flash via SD Card" but no luck. My HD2 was not very old (95 days) hence contacted seller.
The seller and agreed to give me a replacement so I am shipping this to him. I hope I get my replacement soon.
In the mean time, i am going to buy a MicroMax A110 which is available in India for some US$ 85 (INR.10,000). Not bad for a 1 Ghz dual core phone.
Wish you a good luck if you get to fix it else sell it on eBay or maybe send it to someone else who might know some JTAG in their town.
Good evening, friends of mine , you know have a problem , my Sony Xperia E4G ( 2006), which had recently acquired crashed , I know, it is my fault .
I unlock the bootloader using Sony's official website, it was successful, then it using "Flashtool" I wanted to install the "CMW Recovery" from a command window (CMD), connecting in FlashBoot mode.
Something went wrong, because after that my phone did not pass the initial logo of Sony, you know that something is wrong, I'm not very experienced and know maybe I should not do it if I was not very knowledgeable, but also learn and I really can change firmware to other phones like the HTC Desire and the Sony Xperia 626s Z3 Compact.
I Download a rom by XperiFirm: "xxxxxxx-xxx.12x431x.ftf" and try to flash the phone but hangs.
And worst of all, had already tried Flashtool a newer version and flash did not help me. I hope you can help me and we can save this phone does not have much time being purchased.
PSD: I do not speak much English, I hope you can understand me and have not committed serious offenses writing.
