doubt that will happen, changing your "radio" sounds like you want to run like evo roms and other phone spefic roms. glacier roms are tailor made to fit the phones hardware and potential.
thats what your asking right?
the radio is also the baseband i believe.
from my iphone days modem was same as baseband version

Not trying to be a anus but we do have a thread sticked to the top of this section for radio files, how to check the MD5 and how to install them.
and all Questions and answers should be posted in the Question and answer section.
the development section is just for that development, and this is not a development-ish thread.

Thanks, But i got the latest Radio on my touch 4g. I just ask the First Question Because I Heard A rumor that there hack Available, But i guess is not True...

Come on, the Dev forum is already full of threads like this which have nothing to do there!
Jeff, all you need to know is in the XDA Sapphire Hacking wiki and the CyanogenMod wiki.
Read and don't ask people to hold your hand. If you don't understand something then search the forums for an answer... and if you still don't understand then don't do it.

We all know you're new to flashing a new rom and so were all of us, and we all had questions, so most of the ones you'll come up with will have already been answered somewhere in the forum.
I would start with the CyanogenMod page Its perfectly laid out and will walk you through it step by step, go at it and have fun. If you have questions, look for answers on that page, if you can't find them, look in the forum, then if not there, post a question in a thread applying to your question.

Quick find the latest CyanogenMod Build

Here's a quick guide on the updates.
If you go to this link:
CM6 Nightly Builds
There will be a series of paired files One is a .txt file, one is a .zip file. Any doubts as to which is which, the Build is the one around 66Mb.
The file names look like this:
cm_supersonic-07212010-003638
Obviously, cm_supersonic is CyanogenMod 6 for the HTC Evo (aka Supersonic)
The 07212010 is the date of the release July 21 2010
003638 is the aproximate time of the release in 24-hr format (military time) 12:36:38 am
The nightlys are named this way, so you can always tell which is the most current. If the date is newer, that is the newer file. If the dates are the same, which one is later in the day.
Hope this helps to clear up some of the confusion as to which is the newest builds....
Sorry if this is out of place, but the 2-3 posts per page on the CM6 thread asking for "What is the latest build" clutters up things a bit. I had posted this in the thread, but it got lost in the mix....
Another option is to use the premium version of ClockworkMod ROM Manager, which will let you download and install any of the CM6 nightly builds without having to manually boot back to recovery (if you're lazy, like me
I am trying to figure out why this was posted in the dev section? Maybe I am missing somehting? If anything it should be edited onto the front page of the cm6 thread already in this forum.... *shrug*
total waste of time just book mark the nightly link and look ! simple and easy !!
This was such a good idea!

will i be able to install this manually like i did the leaked .3 version or will it mess up my phone
Engadget
I just read this on Engadget, I have to say I give HTC and Sprint a lot of credit for under promising and over delivering in my opinion. I absolutely love this phone and to know that both the carrier and the manufacturer are fully behind supporting the phone after launch is a great relief! I never hear of companies doing anything early or at least on time when it comes to software updates...I'm pleasantly surprised!

GPS - CM7
Hello All,
I love CMs work and the CM7 rom is pretty darn good. As with other GB roms, I have problems with GPS. Works fine with CM6 or any sense rom. Hope it get fixed soon.
Thanks! I wouldn't even have known there was an official release for a while if it wasn't for your thread so thank you. Stop hating on the poor guy.

How other phones deal with partition sizes

It might not been completely on topic, but I hope is okay.
When I am browsing HD2 forums, every ROM have information on what partition layout I need. However, when I'm browsing forums for other devices, I cannot see any such information on ROM.
How do other devices handle partition sizes? Can ROM do it from clockwork while installing? If yes, why this does not work on HD2?
