[INFO] Anti-Glare Screen Protector Thread - Eee Pad Transformer General

Searched the forum but nothing specific came up
I've started my search for an Anti-Glare screen protector. The fingerprints and glare are starting to bug.
This is the first one I have found but if you do an Ebay search for "asus Transformer screen protector" 2 pop up. On one you can see that the protector is made for the Acer.

Has anyone got one yet?

Scratched screen

Hi all!
My HD`s screen has some ugly scratches all over it (most of them light scratches, but LOTS of them).
I was wondering how I could get rid of them without changing the entire LC, as it's not broken or anything.
Does the LCD have a protector over it, which takes the scratches? If this part that protects the main LCD exists, can I change it?
Thanks!

A quick Google search gave me these sites:
For iPod, but should work with HDs as well:

etc..
Remember, google is your friend.
Next time invest in a screen protector! They're cheap and they work... The one that came with my HD suffered severe scratches from my keys the first week I had it, but I just peeled it off and no problem, nada. Nothing underneath. Then I just bought a new screen protector and my HD looks as good as new.
Please try searching before posting. Plenty of threads already on this in this forum

Bugs/issues/concerns thread

Like the thread title says if anyone has any bugs or issues we can discuss it here.

Just a little heads up that the phone is slightly curved on the outer rim around the screen so screen protector might not stick nicely around the edge due to the gap cause by the curve.
My other friend who also bought the S3 didn't experience this. We both use the same screen protector. The shop was kind enough to use another version of the screen protector but still the same. Gaps around the outer edge of the screen protector.
Was told by the shop they had some set experiencing this, so i wasn't the first.
Gonna try some other brand of screen protector to see if i can get this solved.

Where to get someone to apply screen protector?

I recently saw a post where it stated that they went to the mall to get someone to apply a ZAGG screen protector and was wondering if there are any places where I can get this done in the UK-London?
zagg can be applied as a DIY as well.

I know but I always seem to fail apply screen protectors
Take it to any local mall where there are some guys on a hut that do that if you live in the US, you can find some of those on shopping malls tho, usually the guys from ghost armor are on some of the biggest malls, check em out:

I always struggled to apply screen protectors until I saw this clip on YouTube;

My advice is to buy a pack of ten or so cheap screen protectors and practice the technique shown in the clip. After a few attempts you will be able to apply the protector without getting any bubbles or dust trapped underneath. Then apply your ZAGG screen protector.
Good luck

nice way there
It's one of those things in life you have to do all by yourself. Like tying your shoelaces.

Does this come with a pre-installed screen protector?

Subject of post
Yes, there's a bunch of reports online stating that the phone comes with a pre-applied screen protector.
only the early oneplus one didnt have one but the later oneplus one did come with one preapplied and then the later models up to the 3t do have them.
The specs on the official page states there is one pre-fitted
Does the screen protector hold up or does it start coming off like most do?

I still have the OEM screen protector that came on my OnePlus 2 and I don't use any kind of case... there are a FEW tiny scratches on it but it's still pretty much as good as the day I got the phone. I don't see any reason why the one on the 5 will be any less awesome

So there's no need to get the official screen protector? https://oneplus.net/oneplus-5-3d-tempered-glass-screen-protector
Or is this one better than the pre-installed protector?

The included one is just a standard plastic protector. The one you linked to is a tempered glass screen protector. While it is thicker, and susceptible to cracking, the one I used on my OPO was delightful to the touch.
Is it recommended to remove the factory screen protector before applying the official tempered glass protector? Or can you simply apply it on top of the factory protector.

Best Screen Protector Galaxy s9 +

Other than Zagg, I've seen several recommendations online for screen protectors. Looking for opinions on the best one that works with a case (I have Otterbox Pursuit)
There's literally 8 threads in this section over the past 10 days discussing screen protectors. I'd start there, it's probably already been discussed at length.
Short answer? Whitestone Dome.
