[Q] Returning the phone for warranty exchange - Flipside General

Hi there!
My ATT Motorola Flipside screen home button wont work any more. It's been couple days I'm trying to deal with it but some programs cant exit. So it's annoying.
Phone is rooted and all the bloatware removed, Q is how do I go back to stock for warranty exchange? I did the master reset with holding the X key and reset from the settings both brings me back my old setup
Thanks guys!

You must reboot into bootloader and Reflash the original sbf and everything is back to stock settings.
Try this:

[Q] Factory reset broke my phone

Hi Guys,
I was having some problems with the phone functionality of my Desire Z, so following their advice, I performed a factory reset from the settings menu. Now when I boot up the phone, I get a 'Process system is not responding Force Close/Wait' message after the HTC boot logo. Choosing either option just leaves me with a blank screen. I've tried booting with/without the SIM and SD card but with the same result and I've tried another reset from the 'three android' menu. I haven't rooted my device or even applied the 1.72 update - everything is as I received it from HTC.
HTC say I need to send it off for repair. Is there anything I can do to fix it myself (without voiding my warranty)? - I'd rather not send it away for two weeks. It feels like it's just a software issue, so I should be able to do anything a repair tech can, given the right tools.
Thanks for your help.
I'd suggest trying another factory reset as maybe something went wrong on the first attempt, if not then the problem could be due to a hardware related issue in which case the phone would have to be sent of to HTC for repair.
Hold vol up and the powerbutton to get into the hoot menu. Use the vol up & down keys to select the factory reset/data wipe option. Then press power to confirm
Sent from my HTC Vision using XDA App

You can factory reset through the Recovery. Boot in to Hboot, press Recovery, when the warning triangle appears press vol up + power to boot in to HTC Recovery.

No, all files on your SDcard will be kept intact.

Home button stopped working after installing rom

I installed a rom for the first time tonight (Lightspeed), but after installing my home button stopped working. When I press on it, light changes and tablet vibrates, but nothing happens.
Even after reverting back to my stock backup it still does not work. Any ideas?
Same thing happened to me. So I ordered a new one from ebay and tried to replace mine. I cracked the whole screen instead. Apparently the home button was part of the ui and not an actual hardware key.
Problem solved
Reverting back to original Acer recovery image and doing a factory reset from settings menu solved the issue.

[Q] Jammed Volume Button

Hello,
My Samsung Galaxy S4 is still under warranty, and the volume down button seems to have jammed. This has resulted in my phone being constantly booted onto the screen where I can either download a custom OS or restart the phone. The problem is I cannot choose either of these options as the volume down key is stuck and I can't choose either. I then have to restart my phone and, surprise surprise im back on that screen. The only way around this is to hold the volume up key, which then takes me into safe mode. I have previously rooted this phone so I cannot take it in for warranty, but I was wondering if there was any way to either boot my phone into the normal mode or to remove the root so I can take it in under warranty.
Thanks for any help.
Use ADB to boot into download mode (search; tutorials/how to's easily found on here/Google), flash 3 part stock rom which will wipe it, send it in for warranty service. Sorted.

Tried this method, and fell at the first hurdle. Not sure if its because I'm in safe mode but couldn't get ADB to work. It wasn't installing the drivers and wasn't being recognised when I checked for ADB devices..

[Q] Help with system software not authorized by verizon wireless

I bought a Verizon Note 3 on yesterday that was unlocked. I performed a factory data reset trying to remove the former owner's apps, pictures, messages, etc. and the message came up that system software not authorized by verizon wireless, please take this phone to a Verizon store. I need help!!! I have been reading some of the forums and have the phone in ODIN Mode but I really don't know what to do from this point and certainly don't want to ruin the phone that I just bought!
Did you try doing the reset from within setting or by powering down and then holding the volume up, home and power buttons until it booted into recovery mode.
If settings try the button method if that doesn't work flash a stock tar from odin.
Full Stock NC4 Stock tar
Guide I used my first time.
