Nook for Android app on CM7 (on SD) won't sync? - Nook Color Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Nook newbie here:
I am using the latest CM7 for nook color, running off SD card. I can install the Nook android app, sign in, but my books don't show up. Anyone have a similar experience? Or know how to fix this? I tried searching the forums, but couldn't find any info.
I have tried a reinstall, and also have run fix_permissions.
Thanks in advance!

Any ideas?

I solved my own problem, so here's the solution in case anyone has a similar experience:
Cleared all data, cache and then moved app to sd. (Even though CM7 is on sd, it seems to fix it if you "move app to sd"). Signed in again, and there were all my books. Case closed.

Nook app not syncing...
Sorry, but what do you mean you moved the app to the SD card. Thought that was where it was installed.
I am having the same proble, tried everything to fix it, but still cannot see any of my books or mags...

When I log onto the Nook app for android, I don't see books or magazines I purchased at first.
If I take the SD card out and boot into the standard Nook interface, the books and magazines are there.
If I then go back into the Android OS, the Nook app now has the books and magazines (I would have to download them a 2nd time, though)

Everything android-wise is working great. I even have the kindle app and google book app running, but to my dismay, the Nook app won't work properly...
If I go into LIBRARY and download any of the 9 books in there...it will error out...if I search for books that my girlfriend can search for using her nook color on the out-of-the-box software my nook can't find it, but hers can...
I see people with thunderbolts complaining in the comments in market that it won't work on their phone, but I'm hoping there is some way to get this working on the Nook Color running CM 7.0.3.
Thanks!

Please let us know. I need the Nook App working if I decide to go CM7.
These are the instructions linked to in that thread:

I'm not sure if running off the SD card makes a difference, but I'm running CM7 7.0.3 off SD card and just bought and downloaded a couple of books last night in the Nook app without a problem.
Are the partitions managed differently when running CM7 from EMMC vs SD card? Sounds like the app is having problems placing the (downloaded) file..

Rooted nook app cant find sideloaded books

Hey all I have my Nook rooted. I out a few books into the internal memory but the Nook app cant find them. How do I get the app to find them?>
edit: I was able to finally get it working off the internal memory. Any idea how to get the Nook app to read books from sd card?

Have plenty of free space, but B&N Apps say there isn't enough. What gives?

Just as the title states. This is only a problem when installing / downloading from the B&N market, and only for apps. Books and magazines are fine. Any ideas?
Also, where are the books and magazines stored? I'm on a manual nootered Nook color (1.3).
Same issue, well very similar, anything I try to install says there is no space. I am still trying to figure out what partition the CM7 android system uses as the "system" drive for installing apps and such.
wonder if you could use an app to move your already installed apps to your SD card, Have not updated to 1.3 yet. may have the option to move apps to sd card under the manage applications menu if there is one.

Aldiko app not opening

When I try opening the free Aldiko app on my rooted NST, the screen simply refreshes. I rooted with Touchnooter, got the Market working, and installed Aldiko and a few other apps. It worked at first, but after uninstalling and reinstalling it does this. I've tried reinstalling again, wiping the cache, wiping the dalvik cache, and uninstalling via adb. I really don't want to reformat, root, and reinstall everything just to get one app to work.
I'm pretty sure Aldiko is just broken and won't run on the Nook.
Check out this post from the Themes and Apps section - it solved the problem for me.

It seems to be a problem with the SD card. With the SD card inserted, Aldiko force closes. With an empty SD card slot, the app works.
The older version of the app (from the post above) works just fine with the SD card inserted.

That version works, thanks!

Disappearing apps

I'm running cm9 reloaded 1.2 and every time I try to install aldiko books, it uninstals itself if I have to reboot. Any idea what's happening or how I can fix this? (Btw, sorry if this has been answered already, I'm at work on xda's mobile app. It's difficult to search)
I have that prob too. You just need to move the app from SD card back to internal storage and it will not disappear after rebooting
Sent from my Kindle Fire using XDA
