I also have to same problem with random dropped signal and just tried to use your attachment. It says the system is down. I was wondering if the problem could just be the phone and not the rom and radio. I have the radio 2.15.50.14 and gingerbread 2.3.3.

Previously a guy said it was the phone. Wich sounds logic. I do know that its not youre nand vers or radio. The bettrr signal programm is temporary down it says.

[Q] Signal drop with NAND ANDROID

Hi,
Ive checked around the forums and used google but i cannot find a thread thats the same problem as mine.
every Nand Build Android i use has the same problem, I have full bars for 5 or so mins then it drops to no signal (or 1 bar) for another min then back to full again, as far as i can tell this doesnt affect calls as ive rang peope on no bars. Is this an issue with my HD2 or a common one? when i flash back to Win Mob my bars constantly stay full.
ive got on at the moment:
HANDSET - WWE HD2
ANDROID NAND ROM - Core CellHD 1.4v
RADIO - 2.15.50.14
NETWORK - O2 UK (POSTPAY)
LOCATION - LEEDS UK
Anyone know the anwswer?... Cheers
Bro ..am having the same problem since yestt ..getting the exact problem with everynand build i use ....i will just move to WM to see if its fine there
3G signal drop
I got no 3G signal all the sudden.
This after couple of day of weak signal, then decided to switch to Cyanogenmod.
No signal for a day, then decided to revert back to old Rafdroid, and still no signal
I'm about to use this phone as paperweight
Having the same problem as well
some one must have solved this? anyone?

same here.some help?
Ive just bought a HD2 to flash Android on, I havent flashed yet so I cant talk about this issue in Android.
But on WM I get signal drops too using O2, whereas on my TP2 I get full bars and very rarely get drops. My area hasnt got great 3G coverage so on my TP2 it stays steady on 2G, but sometimes tries connecting to 3G, but it will go back to 2G. But on the HD2 it seems like it doesnt want to stay on 2G and will keep trying to connect to 3G while showing no bars nearly all the time. But turning 3G off solves this problem.
If your in an area with bad 3G coverage that could be the reason, so try switching 3G off and see if it stays.
Same problem here, try flashing wp7 and back to android and see if that fixes it
Or alternatively try and flash clk

This happened on other native android devices I've owned, conclusion.
You're holding it wrong!! Lol
Seriously try holding the phone sideways where the camera is and watch your signal stay. Your hand is blocking the radio signal causing degredation. I believe its on the bottom part of the phone.

this issue actually made me switch back to windows phone 7. i have had both radio 2.12 and 2.15 and both lose signal without me touching the phone. i was using google maps and i ended up getting lost cuz of it (yes i know too much dependency on gps ). in windows 7 though i have yet to lose signal on either radio. i would love a fix for this

Hmm try and flash wp7 or magldr and see if the problem is still there, or if someone is willing to test, try using magldr 1.11 or 1.12 and see if Tue problem remains
Sent from my HD2 using XDA Premium App
i just done a quik read up on magldr
what difference will that make to the signal etc?
I get signal drops very often
mostly when phone is a while inactive and I turn it back on, my signal is completely lost, it's not build related I think, I had it from the start, something must went wrong in the initial coding process.. maybe signal drops will never leave

How often is it rebooting?
Does it boot at all?
Can you reach desktop?
If not, have you flashed previously your rom?
Please supply more details.

Some times once in a day, and sometimes more than a week, basically it is rebooting when I am playing games for more than 10 minutes.
As a phone it is working fine. I am still not rooted.
Build version : FROYO.DDJP6
Firmware Version : 2.2
FYI - One more thing, I bought this mobile just 20 days back. Anyway thank you for quick reply.
Twenty days i would return under warranty for a fix ..
jje
Exchange it, if you have not done any changes to rom, as this firmware has no such bug, probably its a hardware issue.
Is your cell get heat up while playing?

yes, sometimes it heats gets heat while playing.. I am going to shop now, to replace it.
This seems to be some sort of ROM bug. Just reflash to Gingerbread, and be fine.
You can use my howto for that, for example:

I found the issue with Advanced Task Killer. I am using Android Booster. Now it is working fine.
This has happened to me twice in 4 weeks on jvk. Talking on phone then it quickly boots up. Faster than a normal off then power on though.
Also.
Maybe why the screen goes to sleep during a call...
If you set screen off to say 10 mins, when on a call the screen stays active for duration of call except when held to ear, then screen off sensor kicks in and its working normal. Seems screen off setting also switches off phone screen at set time instead of staying active.

flash zach's antlion kernel or tk4-glitch kernel. the 'twoface' kernel might be the problem
Mine also rebooted, but it was on 2.1. The problem was that there was a bug in samsung's code. When I tdisabled the power saving mode under Settings > Display. The phone stopped rebooting.
I have 2.2.1 now and power saving mode is enabled without any problems.

[Q] help~ HD2 constantly reboots..

My phone is the HD2 T8585, originally a windows phone. I've tried flashing the ROM to many android versions and currently on 2.2.1. It has been rebooting every once in a while (several times a day) on all versions of the android. Anyone have a solution to this problem?
Did you flash the right clockwork mod layout?
I mean if you use it.
