I have used it. But Im In New Zealand not UK.
Seems ok
But after downloading the 129 meg setup file it then ends up downloading more files to complete the setup.
It took a LOOOOONG time to download them.
I have a reasonably fast connection and the 129meg took 2-3 min to download. The rest of the stuff it downloaded took about 45min to an hour. So I suspect it is fricken 10GIG. Either that or the server at the other end is very busy and slow.

Yeah, that just kills me...it's just posted, but still needs update files...go figure!! Samsung never ceases to amaze me!
I fired up my version of Kies this morning (obtained from the Canadian Samsung site for the Bell Vibrant) and it also said there was an update -- so maybe in preparation for something soon!
I also have the US Version of Mini Kies on another box, but no updates there.
Can't install it, getting an error for missing C:\Windows\Installer\11e9d6.msi
The previous version worked jut fine.
How well does this work? It seems like every time I try to update Kies it ends up killing USB connectivity and I end up reinstalling the app.
ok i was on my way to some place and i was having Wi-Fi connected with both
(My tab and my mobile samsung galaxy S i9000)
and i was in open sky
still my tab wasn't able to get the location and on my tab but i got correctly on my mobile
why is it so?? is everyone is facing the same problem?

How long did you wait? Since it's not assisted GPS it could take as long as 10 minutes to get a lock. There are a few ways of making it assisted, some are here on the dev section and some are available from Market, so if you're planning to use the GPS a lot then you should perhaps take a look.

I got my N4 a few days before Xmas 2012. It's the best Android experience yet but I have a big problem:
The signal on my phone drops randomly when I'm on mobile internet (H and E -- haven't seen 3G yet). Randomly means sometimes once in 30 seconds or once in 5 minutes. The signal disappears for like 5 seconds and then pick-ups again and connects to the internet. Wifi is not turned on.
Has anyone had this problem or can direct me to a thread that discusses this? It's really annoying since I sometimes do remote access (teamviewer, etc) via mobile internet and have subscribed to an unlimited use of mobile internet which is quite expensive in my country. My money is wasted if I don't get constant connection whenever I need it.
Is it a hardware problem or a software problem that the next OTA update will fix?
I previously had an HTC Sensation (in the same locations that I get the dropped connections now) and there weren't any problems at all.
I've tried Googling but I have come up with nothing. Replacement is not an option since N4 is not yet officially sold in the country and I just got this from a local vendor who imported them. I do have warranty and I can give it to LG to get repaired if it is a hardware problem but I need to be sure first since it will take weeks for it to get assessed and repaired.

Hey, so I have been using channel 13 on Wifi for a long time and everything was working fine but today I can't use channel 13 anymore :/ On the other phones (mum's and sister's) is the channel alright and everything works fine however I can't use channel 12 / 13 on P8 Lite anymore. I live in Europe so I think using channels 12 / 13 are ok. My wifi just doesn't appear when I change it to channel 12 / 13.
I also recently (1 day ago) rooted my mobile, (which I think isn't because of root).
I also chose region Czech Republic (it's located in Europe)
I also take a screenshot for a look - can you recommend me the best channel I could use?

In my company, they changed the wifi channel to 13. Unfortunately my phone cannot detect it.
I am in Europe, where ch12, 13 & 14 are legals. My SIM is European too.
What I tried already :
- Change location in phone settings to China / Hong Kong / Other : no success.
- DL a fake GPS application and force my location in case my native GPS is bugged : no success.
- DL a wifi scanner and check the wifi around me : here there is something weird, some times, when I reboot my phone after changing my location, it detects a chan 13. But this chan is not detected by the wifi application, therefore I cannot connect it. This chan 13 disappears after some minutes.
Do you have any idea of where the problem is coming from ? The fact that the wifi scanner can detect for some minutes the chan13 let me think that there might be a solution.
