Can I use this ROM to rollback to a pre-NoDo versione (7004...) ?
Just to try to unlock my NOBRAND, European (Italy) HD7 and then update again to 7390
Actually I have a 7390 version (updated via Zune starting from 7389 version).

Thats possible!
I've done the same because I forgot to unlock my rom before updating to NoDo
Tip:
I flashed the 1.60 rom to be more up to date. This rom also includes 7004

is tht this rom is possible to un-lock? because i also flash my rom up to date. =.=lll

and then to update in MangoB2 and have any keyboard language you like

Hi, Thanks for your answer but I don't like Mango beta, and the thing is I have the Spanish keyboard (I changed a file with touchXplorer to do it), but I would like the Display language to be in spanish, if I could do that in Mango, I would like you to explain a little bit more some things I don't know how to do it..

A. Pre-Requisites
If your HD 7 is flashed with a ROM of the following releases:
1. RUU_Schubert_HTC_Europe_1.16.401.01_Radio_5.51.09.06a_22.30.50.09U
2. RUU_Schubert_HTC_Europe_1.54.401.01_Radio_5.51.09.29_22.32.50.10U
3. RUU_Schubert_HTC_Europe_1.60.401.01_Radio_5.52.09.16_22.33a.50.10U
4. RUU_Schubert_HTC_Europe_1.69.401.01_Radio_5.54.09.21_22.33b.50.10U (Nodo)
then you can flash the following NoDo unbranded ROM and when you like you can comeback to your previous ROM
In case your HD 7 is flashed with a different of the above 1, 2, 3, 4 ROMs but your Firmware version at your phone settings>about>more information
is of the form xxxx.yy.zzzzz.401 i.e. with characteristic value 401
then you can also flash the following NoDo unbranded ROM, but you can comeback only to one of the above 1, 2, 3, 4 ROMs
B. Downloading
You must download the following 2 ROMs:
1. Download this zip ROM file: RUU_Schubert_HTC_Europe_1.70.901.02_Radio_5.64.09.27a_22.43.50.15_NoDo_by_ansar
2. Download this zip ROM file: RUU_Schubert_HTC_Europe_1.70.901.02_Radio_5.64.09.27a_22.43.50.15_NoDo_Signed_by_ansar
Extract the downloaded zip ROM files with an unzip / 7zip utility in separate folders of your choice
C. Flashing Process
In order to successfully flash the provided ROMs you must follow these steps:
1. Flash the ROM of the above (B.1.) extracted zip ROM file
2. After flashing HD 7 will automatically enter again in bootloader mode
3. In the screen of your computer the ROMUpdateUtility will report an ERROR[270]
4. Ignore it and exit from ROMUpdateUtility
5. Now flash the ROM of the above (B.2.) extracted zip ROM file
6. After flashing your HD 7 will boot normally
7. Exit from ROMUpdateUtility and proceed with your brand new ROM
If you do not want them you can delete all operator apps, in order to have more free RAM
Beware, in WP7 deleting an application means it is deleted from ROM
D. ROM Flashing Instructions
In order to flash a ROM follow these steps:
1. Press and hold power-on/off button to power-off the phone
2. Press and hold volume-down button and then press power-on/off button to enter bootloader mode
3. When your phone enters the tricolor screen bootloader mode, release volume-down button
4. Connect your phone to your windows 7/vista/xp pc/laptop with a usb cable
5. Verify that your phone will be identified and relevant drivers will be installed by windows os of your pc/laptop
6. After completion of (D.5.) above, check the usb message connection on your phone screen
7. To flash the ROM go to your pc/laptop folder where the downloaded zip ROM file is extracted
8. Double click on the ROMUpdateUtility.exe file and strictly follow the instructions on your pc/laptop screen

Just downloaded the 2 files and when I run B1 rom it gives me Error ID Vendor
My original rom in HD7 was O2 UK and thanks to petbede work I sucessfully changed to HTC Europe...how can I instal this new version?

So, yesterday I was able to update to the Europe NoDo ROM but it has the Radio Software Version: 5.54.09.21_22.33b.50.10U.
I had to use the GoldCard method however. Can I update to this newer ROM using GoldCard?

I've tested calls and am now in the process of updating from this ROM to the mango beta, but must admit I was a little concerned that I saw an O2 operator logo and it's default region is the UK??
Update:
After running this ROM for 24 hours it appears to work fine on Telstra's network, but I really think this was ment for O2 in the UK. It has O2 branding throughout the phone, including theme colours and splash operator logo.

Hi,
It looks like we have the same problem. Probably your HD7 is from EU and works only 1900/2100 mhz (3G). My I took from Ireland and Telstra SIM card works only with 2G. You do nothing because it is hardware problem (radio). Just buy YES OPTUS SIM card, 3G works fine on EU mobile phones.

Radio GSM Rom For HTC Mozart

Just would like to share Radio GSM Rom:
1. Version: 5.69.09. This version comes from Ship Rom version 4.06 Europe.
2. Version: 5.71.09.02a_22.51.50U. This version comes from Ship Rom version 5.01 Europe.
Instructions to flash.
1. To flash it, your HTC Mozart has to got HSPL first, HSPL can find HERE. If not, please do not do it.
2. Battery has to be more than 60%.
3. Turn your phone OFF TOTALLY.
4. Put you phone into bootloader mode by press and hold volume down button then hit the power button.
5. Plugin usb data cable and wait untill USB word appear on you phone.
6. Now run ROMUpdateUtility.exe in my Radio Rom package and follow the ROMUpdateUtility.exe requirements.
7. The flash process will take you about 30s.
8. Enjoy.
Note that, after flash this Radio Rom, all data on your device will be deleted.

You are using 7720 official update, this means your HTC Mozart still not HSPL. You can not update this Radio.

Try to find out your Mozart oldest ship Rom, flash it. Then flash HSPL then go HERE to download my custom Rom and flash it (My custom rom was cooked base on official Mango final). Then flash the lastest Radio above.

An SLSPL ROM is created for HD7 Europe Operator that allows downgrading the Bootloader
Update on 30.12.2011: Two TMOUS users did confirm that after SIM unlock it worked for TMOUS too!!
The process is as simple as of these 3 steps
1. Download the following SLSPL ROM
>. Rapidshare : RUU_Schubert_HTC_Europe_5.10.401.04_SLSPL_Signed_by_ansar.zip
>. MegaUpload: RUU_Schubert_HTC_Europe_5.10.401.04_SLSPL_Signed_by_ansar.zip
2. Flash the provided SLSPL ROM
>. after flashing the device will re-boot in tricolor Bootloader screen

hi ansar , i tried to flash this rom but my phone restarts when its on 1% flashing and wont let me flash , maybe this rom is not good for my phone . my phone specs are : htc hd t9292 , software wp7.5 16gb version. os vers. 7.10.7720.68 , firmware revision number 2250.21.51002.207 , hardware revision number 0002 , radio software version 5.71.09.02a_22.51.50.21U , radio hardware version A.102.0.D4 , bootloader version 5.10.2250.0(131983) , chip soc version 2.2.5.0 . can you tell me if i need another rom( and what rom is this that i have on my phone ) or what im doing wrong? thanks in advance

Your ROM according to your firmware [2250.21.51002.207] is 5.10.207.02
The Ansar's method above for now works only on Europe roms 5.xx.401.xx

Let me see if i get this straight....
1-we turn off the phone and boot into tri-color(volume down)
2-we use the ROMUtility.exe and flash you SLSPL
3-again after it finish we boot to tri-color
4-again we use the ROMUtility.exe to flash Stock ROM like 3.1
5-after flash we install RSPL and HSPL
6-flash any custom ROM
????????????????
i need to ask what is the difference between branded and unbranded ROM ?
i live in lebanon...im afraid to do the process and my gsm line wont work again....and is that related to the branded ROM ? cuz guys you say europe...o2...tmous....all are operators....but here we dont have things like this....a operator...who manages the updates and all things...and am confused about 401 666 ....those numbers in ROMs my cell info:
HTC HD7 t9292
OS: 7.10.7740.16
firmware revision number :2550.21.51004.401
bootloader version:5.10.2250.0.0(132968)
and for future use can i again go to offical ROM ? like flash orginal ROM and update in zune ? thanks for your great work

Hi,
Your phone is a 401 HTC_Europe so it is just the ROM you need!!
After flashing the SLSPL ROM you can flash any 401 ROM

mate....im searching for a 401 europe ROM....i cant find ......when i open filefactory or rapidshare ....file not found....even the ones by you (by ansar.zip) i want to download one so i can use rspl and hspl later...can u give me some working link ? RUU_Schubert_HTC_Europe_1.16.401.01_Radio_5.51.09.06a_22.30.50.09_Signed_SCHUBERT_RELEASE.exe (219.39 MB) is this good for the process ?

Man i downloaded RUU_Schubert_HTC_Europe_1.60.401.01_Radio_5.52.09.16_22.33a.50.10U_by_ansar.zip
now what to do ? when i extract it it have 2 files and both with nbh RUU_signed.nbh and SPL_signed.nbh .......i cant see any exe (ROMUtility.exe) how i can flash those nbh ? thanks for your patience .... i never Flashed WP before

Hi,
There is a ROMUpdateUtility.exe in both SLSPL ROM and 1.60 ROM
Follow the flashing instructions at #1 post
1st flash SLSPL ROM and then 1.60.401.01

I have a tmous HTC hd7 with bootloader 5.10. This method will not work with me I guess. But there is also something strange in my phone when I boot in the bootloader mode I do not see usb/serial message...Is that normal

Hi,
Try to flash this SLSPL ROM even without sub/serial message ...
In no case this SLSPL ROM can harm the device
If does not connect or does not fit to the operator of the device
it will simply return an error 214
A user with TMOUS and usb/serial ok, reported that this HTC_Europe SLSPL ROM worked!!
