[Q] Lack of data connection during voice call - Xperia Play General

I am unable to use the web browser while talking on the phone. (No data connection available while on voice call)
Anyone else with the same problem?

you are not on 3g

But this was not an issue in my MiniPro that I used previously. Is the HW in PLAY not capable of what the MiniPro could perform?

Missed calls when using data connection

Hello,
i have noticed that Pepole have problems to call me on my new Touch HD Then i have played a little with the device and can say thats the data connections for updating weather, mail, etc thats making this problem.
I have tested it by calling my mobile phone with a wired one and while dailing i'm updated the weather manualy. This results in that my call is not comming to my mobile phone it's directed to my mailbox . Then I have changed with HD Tweak that my data connections are allway on (default is off) and now i can't reporduce this problem.
Do you have similar problems ?
What negative effects have the "allways on" setting ?
My device is a HTC Touch HD from German Provider BASE. Tested with the ROMs :
RUU_BlackStone_HTC_GER_1.14.407.3_Radio_52.49a.25.26_1.09.25.14_Ship
, Duttys HD V2.6 XTREME and Duttys HD V2.7 XTREME

Probably you have a GPRS connection instead of 3G. GPRS can only handle a data or a voice connection one at a time.
With 3G you can receive calls and use a data connection at the same time.

I think your right.
Is there any option that the device only uses 3G data connections ?

SIP over WIFI => Screen Power off Drops WIFI Connection

Hi All,
I hope some one can shed some light on this.
I am using fring to connect to my SIP provider - no problems... except.... when I power off the screen the wifi connection is droped. Bad if someone is trying to call.
Is there anyway to keep the wifi connected whilst the screen is off?? All i want is for the wifi to stay connected just like The Phone Network Data connections Do....
Is this possible?
What SIP clients can you guys recommend? Isnt SIP integrated in to WM6.1??? cant find it anywhere.... and the threads about it seem to have gone cold..... any clues?
(touch HD with Telstra Stock ROM - AUS)

HD Tweak Win!
HD Tweak allowed the wireless to stay connected. Nice!

Now, SIP clients Anyone??? Been using Fring - is there anything better or integrated that is a bit cleaner?
basically all i want is to be able to recieve SIP calls whenever connected to the provider, but select how outbond calls are handled
Native SIP stack on WM6.x is not very user friendly and it lacks some major features. No echo cancellation, no earpiece support, no NAT traversal, etc...
Try AgePhone2 mobile (commercial) or PortSIP (free). Also check out this forum, there was plenty of VoIP discussion in the past 2 years or so.
sip client
the best sip client integrated with WM 6 is this. have been using it for long with sip calls
WM6VoIP.CAB & SipConfigTool_2_0_1.CAB
pm me your email address, cant upload attachments...

[Q] Connect two phones via bluetooth and make/receive calls

My main phone, Galaxy S4, has to remain connected to an external antenna when I am at home in order to get a signal. So, is it possible to pair my S2 to my S4 via Bluetooth so I can keep it in my pocket to make/receive calls?
Have tried Googling but not really sure what I am looking for.
Thanks
I'm fairly sure that this isn't possible...
As an alternative, if you have home internet and wifi, you could use internet calling at home and forward s4 phone number to whatever internet number you use (Google Voice would work.) If no home internet, you could use either phone for a hotspot to provide internet to the other. My experience is phone calls don't use much data.

[LG K10 2017] [M250] mobile Data issue

HI,
so I bought a 4G connection like a month ago, and a weird thing is happening, only Facebook messenger is working on mobile data, and by working I mean fully working: video and audio chat, message, photo and audio send and receive, everything, all the other apps display "no connection".
I've checked all the setting of the phone, I activated data Roaming, but nothing.
so, did anyone experienced a similar problem?
thanks in advance
Good year, surely it is:
* It seems that the problem is the configuration of the protection / economizer / mobile data saving, to verify that you should look at that mobile data connections are not deactivated and check that they are interesting for you (if they are not Marked connections with mobile data are not allowed, and therefore you will get the error that there is no connection)
