Desire HD pull down recent app list - Desire Themes and Apps

Hello there, currently i'm using RC mix HD 3.5 and i had flashed power notification .zip file.
i wish to revert back to the original, whereby the pull down menu is like the stock desire HD rom - showing recent apps.
question: how can i do it without reflashing the whole ROM?
thanks

what i meant was something like this..

Flash without wipe could fix it.

Thanks.. will try once i reach home..

Random question...im also running a DHD rom...and i have power widgets in the notif.bar ,not the Recent Apps...so i can only have 1 of those ,not both at same time ???

No need to reflash anything.
You just have to edit one file: notification_config.txt which is located in your system\customize folder.
However you need to be root to edit it (just use root explorer or better QtADB!)
Then edit it like this:
enablePowerControl (to enable only PowerControl shortcuts, as wifi, data, gps...)
or
enableRecentApps (to enable only Recent ran Apps)
or
enablePowerControl|enableRecentApps (to enable both of them!).
And that's it.

Did this.
Changed the txt file to this: enablePowerControl|enableRecentApps using flashable .zip
Checked with root exporere that notification_config.txt in system\customize folder had been changed.
Power control works fine, but recent apps are still not showing?
Any ideas?

I did the same thing and worx DD
tnx KAmeoRE

Nevermind. Flashed CM7 version of powercontrol then changing text worked. I now have both PowerControl and RecentApps.
I preferred the notification bar icons and powercotrol icons that came with 3.5 desensenied, but for some reason that version of powercontrol will not allow recentapps to display.
Anyway, not as aesthetically pleasing but, very functional. Happy now. Thanks
for your help.

I'm also running RCmixHd 3.5 data2ext. I was able to disable PowerControl n enable RecentApps in the notification config.txt file using root explorer. Tho now got a black bar where the power control buttons were. So my question is did u flash CM7 PCW (PCW184.zip) from RCmixHD under extra part. I use Widgetsoid because I can config the buttons in the notification bar more to my liking. E.g ad reboot opt, next n back player controls. Plus custom icons if u upgrade to Pro. Check it out in the market.

I'm on 3.5 desensenied A2SD+ not the Data2ext. Not sure if there is much difference between the two.
Just downloaded PCW184.zip and flashed from recovery. This gives you CM7 PCW, but also stock notification bar, pull down etc...
Flashing this
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=12067499&postcount=11379
Will give you RCMix Notification bar/pull down and PCW icons. I'm happy as Larry now. Everything the way I want it.
You can rearrange the icons be editing the
Available values for widget.txt (max 6x):

* toggleBluetooth
* toggleBrightness
* toggleFlashlight

Yep, doing the same here...
Is it in your plan to release a 2.2 version, or will you continue optimising 2.1 ?
Are you eventually already working on it ?
Hello, whenever I flash this on my Acer Liquid E, it reboots almost right away. Barely can make it past the setup screen. Is this a known problem or because I am using a Liquid E or do I need a different BIN file, I am running whatever it came with.
Thanks.

[MOD][THEME] Circular battery with % for rooted 2.2.2 roms

I'm in the process of cooking my own rom and today i was tweaking the UI of the rom so i made a circular battery for white status bar and i thought that i could share it with you, it should work with any 2.2.2 based rom.

Hello,
it makes multi "force close" after installation (Clock, EMail, Google Framework). My rom is Void Delta. Come back with my backup of framework-res.apk and all is working well now.

this one is not for Void ROM, it's for the stock 2.2.2 ROM, so an FC is inevitable
@teh_1: how can you theme the battery, and can you change the notification bar's color to black?

I just changed the battery icons from the framework-res.apk.
I tried to change the notification bar's color but the phone crashed after installing that mod, probably editing the status_bar.xml (the file that has the settings for the date and time font color) in 2.2.2 isn't the same as editing the 2.2 one (values may be on different lines or labeled differently)
Is it possible to have a mod with the % text, but with the normal battery instead of the circular one?

Definitely. I can't point one for you, but the #alpha version of the void ROM had such a battery icon (normal battery icon, percentage written inside without the % symbol), therefore it must be possible.
can i use it on nessy rom 2.2.2
no this does not work with nessy found out the hard way haha. starts to load but then reverts back to the boot animation.
maybe someone can help i mounted the phone through recovery and used droidexplorer to drop the file into /system/framework/
any help is MUCH appreciated

BAMF 2.4.2
This is a side project that I was doing because I had some free time. This not unlike bamf 2.1, hence the versioning. It is 2.10.605.1, Sense 2.1, with some Sense 3.0 elements from seo in the ADR version.

Sysro and Sysrw scripts
Sense 3 weather, and lockscreen elements (ADR)
HTC trace keyboard (ADR)
Stock kernel, with adb root and init.d support
Wake on volume keys
No recent apps bar
No GPS reticle
CRT animations
Menu overglow
4-in-1 reboot options
Google Car Home
Google Docs
Teeter
Skins from Gadget! and Berzerker
More that I've probably forgotten
Patch 1
Fixes lockscreen strings for pin, password, pattern unlock(ADR)
Fixes force close in app drawer when sliding tabs at the bottom(ADR)
2.11.605.0 Patch (2.3)
Updates from 2.10.605.1 to 2.11.605.0 and in turn, to BAMF 2.3.
2.4
Toolkit is now included. Note if you have Sense 3.0 options, its old uber stuff. Remove the Sense 3.0 stuff from /sdcard/bamf_extras folder. Also, use wake on volume option in toolkit AT YOUR OWN RISK. It may cause your power options to hot reboot. I am looking into it.
CRT Animations are no longer included, to save battery. They can be re-enabled with this mod
http://rootzwiki.com/showthread.php?3369-MOD-CRT-Animations-for-2.10.605.1
2.4.1
Sense 3 phone answer screen is now present and working well.
Working google talk and camera, thanks to mystery dude (and Snow2 for finding). I also added additional libs from Dinc2 2.3.4 RUU.
Toolkit no longer breaks reboot menu and power button. Please delete Bamf_Extras folder from sdcard before installing.
THis is what 2.4 should have been all along. Sorry about that.
2.4.2
Update base to 2.05.605.5
Radio Info is no integrated into WiFi settings without need for patch.
How to Install
Download ROM
Verify correct MD5 hash with your preferred verification app. Hashtab is a good one
Put the ROM on your sd card
reboot to clockwork recovery, either through hboot, or the command adb reboot recovery
Install from zip in recovery
Make sure you wipe data/factory reset. Super, duper recommended
Reboot, enjoy.

[GUIDE][XPOSED] How to Have Ram-Free Floating Apps Anywhere

We all know the Kindle Fire has almost no RAM. On a good day I'll get 150mb free (unless you run CM7 :/). Ever since I rooted and installed ICS, one of the most useful apps in my eyes has been apps in the likes of Sidebar Pro, Glovebox, etc. But apps like that eat away our precious RAM! So I've been sidebar-less for awhile until I stumbled across Slide Launcher. It opens apps from the Quick Launch (holding down Home button) and it's compatible with Halo! So today I'm going to show you how to set up Slide Launcher so it opens floating apps and what not (with super-duper uber neat, step-by-step picture guides!)

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Requirements:
-Rooted Kindle Fire (1st Gen)
-Any ROM from ICS to KK
-Xposed Installer
-Slide Launcher
-The ability to read English
Step 1: Download and install Xposed Framework. Once you install it, go to Framework and press Install/Update. Reboot.
Step 2: Open up Xposed and scroll down to until you see XHaloFloatingWindow. DL and install. Reboot.
Or here's the thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2419287
Step 3: Install Slide Launcher:
Here's the thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2508503&highlight=launcher
Or Play Store Link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.suxsem.slidelauncher
Step 4: Add the apps you want to slide launcher.
Step 5: Go to Slide Launcher settings, swipe right until you get to behavior, and check Halo.
Note: You can and individually choose whether apps open floating or not (but if you added every app to SL, keep it as Global Setting)
And that's it! Enjoy RAM-free floating-app-opening from anywhere!
Note: For KK users, I haven't been able to add it to Quick Launch automatically (I'm running KitKang 12/10 nightly). To fix this, go to QL settings, choose Select Application, Activities, Slide Launcher, and then Launcher. It should show up in QL now.
Now don't be thinking I made any of this (for some reason) so yeah...credits I guess?

It's a great theme. Just what I have been looking for.
I had some trouble with the app though. The app expects there to be a HWThemes folder on your SD card already. I only had one on the internal storage, so the app would not download the theme or tell me why. It just took me to the instructions screen as though it had successfully downloaded the theme. After a while I thought to create a folder called HWThemes on the SD card and it worked after that. Perhaps the app could create this folder if it doesn't already exist?
