For those who arent aware XDA has a zero tolerance policy regarding warez. As stated in the Forum Rules.
6. Do not post warez.
If a piece of software requires you to pay to use it, either pay or find your cracks and serials somewhere else. We do not accept warez nor do we permit any member to promote or describe ways in which Warez, cracks, serial codes or other means of avoiding payment, can be obtained.

We appreciate that it can be frustrating to find a build you like has had to be removed, however, those builds that include warez could land XDA in serious trouble and lead to there not being any ROMS for anyone at all.... which Im sure nobody wants.

No politics involved. Rules are rules. They are there for a reason and that reason is to protect the vast majority of members who are happy to abide by those rules.
We all agreed to abide by these rules upon registering an account with XDA.
Now we're getting to the point where nothing belongs anywhere. Seriously, stop ****ting on us productive and helpful members. And now apparently voicing your opinion doesn't belong anywhere either. This place used to be a fun and open community, now it seems like a place for these "moderators" to openly abuse their power.

I've seen one (or possibly 2) threads closed regarding the "how to" with kernels etc. Is this what all the fuss is about? or is there more to it than that?
If we can understand the problem, we can hopefully come up with a solution.

the issue is that any thread regarding "epic general chat" in the "epic general chat" section is closed, yet numerous unrelated flaming, trolling threads remain open.. how is a thread asking where to begin learning to develop for the epic off topic in the "epic" general chat?

What planet are you from? The issue is you mods keep closing helpful and meaningful threads with no explanation, then leaving the useless and detrimental ones open for the trolls to devour. Obviously there is some sort of disconnect, so please sort out your internal troubles before coming in here flaunting your moderator status. Chris41g and I have been here for quite some time so we're no stranger to the overpowering by mods, but at some point it has to stop and I think now is a great time. We go months and months without seeing a single moderator and now all of a sudden you guys come in and starting closing/deleting threads left and right with no explanation. Please refer me to whoever you have as a supervisor, I would like to speak to them directly if not tonight then tomorrow.

But for the users the xda side for the most popular 6t aosp rom has been Eliminated. So closing the main thread besides just removing the download links has just one effect - silencing the users. Anyway this is quite trendy as for example Google is already censoring files inside personal Google drives.
The true internet left seems to be the darkweb. And unfortunately not also Telegram, which depends on your real mobile number which ends in servers in russian web.
Does anybody know a thread for havoc users elsewhere than xda or Telegram? I mean xda does not seem to care about its users in a smart way and as an avid Havoc friend I am really not interested commenting dev details in this atmosphere. Whether it's caused by ghosty Eliminater or xda mods, I do not care. I am just one of the suppressed users
I also checked the Mandatory GPL link. There is a section for "the average user" and there is NOTHING for the user there... Just for thr dev again.
I guess xda is just for devs not users. So are we going to see more roms without normal user feedback full of bugs because of these rules?

Sir, it's not that YOU have to pay for the download but that the developer (team) (who by the way have also a accepted download via sourgeforce) get's paid for every download - and this is not within the above quote rule.
