I did the update also and now I'm realizing I shouldn't have.
-Ticker seems to be messed up
--Even though I show subscribed to RSS feeds, I'm not getting any
--Facebook/Twitter: Not receiving notifications
When I did the update, I had no problems but now, a week or so later, I get sporatic behavior on my Ticker. Still getting email notifications though.
Well I guess I'm lucky not to be able to update then.

I got the update and re rooted my phone with the link located in this forum with no problem, but I did lose my custom rss feeds (just haven't put them back) but I sill receive the stock espn feeds all the time

I lost root, but cannot delete SuperUser... It's bizarre...
I read something about an update being pushed be verizon on the 28th of jan. Was the site just late with the news about the x17d update or are we finally talking about 2.2 samsung should just skip 2.2 and update us to 2.3 but within my lifetime

Sorry to hear that. New phones tend to get priority for many reasons.
Fact is, because the new HTC phones have been rooted, we know it's coming for the Evo.
You're always welcome to try to learn how to 'hack' and come up with the root method yourself.
Funny thing is by the time you get a different phone root will probably have been achieved.

So Facebook has the new update and I thought I'd go and see how they messed it up this time. So I go to the market and for some reason it says device not comparable with this app. Which is weird cuz I already have Facebook on my phone(who doesn't). Is it just me or can't all atrixes...atri..( don't know plural for atrix) get the update. Or is it all phones can't get cuz the update was pulled or something like that.

I never had problem with the update either. Facebook should be available for any Android device. Also, I think the plural would be Atrices. Seeing as the only word similar to Atrix is matrix.

I understood you, you weren't actually asking what to do about it, just that it was strange you got it all. I had the same understanding as you regarding being rooted and custom, I'm on (or was until last night) Legendary 2.2. Actually having been off the forums for awhile it was the first I had heard of EL30, when I woke up and had the same notification as your screenshot. Incidentally, freezing system updates with both TB and Rom Toolbox did not remedy the situation. Rather than research further I took it as an opportunity to jump over to CM7 and see what all the hype is about....

Its been confirmed working on many roms like CM9, but unfortunately it doesn't work on Euphoria or Passion as i tried it out.
It tells me when i open the app to ask the developer of the ROM to implement... well idk but i'll write the exact message here

No, you read it wrong. It's let's you install multiple accounts. Think of it like Windows. You maybe have 2+ users on it. That's what this app is.

No it's a puppy taco app. It just let's you have different used profiles on same rom, not multiple roms.
Sounds like it does more or less exactly the same thing as the profiles feature in ICS

For those not on LG6 I imagine its larger.
LG8's only apparent difference from LG6 is the readding of integrated search. The actual updates came in LG6.
To get ota updates, would I need to unroot?

What version you running now?
I imagine Samsung's first priority is to push the fix to LG6 users, since they had the feature removed.

Why havnt I received any OTA? I'm on pure stock LFB with no root.
When I go to software update it says:
"Access to the software update service is provided to users in the order in which they request it. Try Later."
Connecting to Kies on my PC says its up to date.
