I thought I would share that I'm fully rooted and using custom rom and got the notification to update... I thought updates were blocked/killed by custom roms

I guess you missed the other 10 threads on this. No, you can't update on custom ROM but that will not stop the notification.

I understood you, you weren't actually asking what to do about it, just that it was strange you got it all. I had the same understanding as you regarding being rooted and custom, I'm on (or was until last night) Legendary 2.2. Actually having been off the forums for awhile it was the first I had heard of EL30, when I woke up and had the same notification as your screenshot. Incidentally, freezing system updates with both TB and Rom Toolbox did not remedy the situation. Rather than research further I took it as an opportunity to jump over to CM7 and see what all the hype is about....

For some reason I can't download it. Starts downloading and quits after 2 seconds. No issues with any other apps just Netflix. I would assume its because a ton of people are trying to get it right now?

Miui revamped lite.
Mine is a bit plain right now lol but this rom is amazing. You can have a different theme every 3 minutes if you wanted lol without flashing.

If you're on Miui just apply the theme, that's it. Simple as installing a apk.
For quite some time now I can't seem to get the xda app to push notifications for subscribed threads or pm's to my phone. Is anyone else having such issues with this? Oh and yes it is set up to do so.

Idk but the market will say stuff like that when you change the density.. Change it back to normal when you update from the market and try again.

i have never had a problem with xda's premium app i always backup and restore through titanium backup never had a problem with it except for maybe re entering my email and password

I flashed MIUI and flashed Bali Cm. I downloaded MIUI from miui.us and then I picked vibrant. So, problem is whenever I get a text message in black lockscreen, the softkey lights go on and don't turn off until I unlock it and check the SMS. So, please help!!

Sort of like BLN? Well, it's pretty much that, except you don't need an app for it.
Flash another kernel or sumfin if you don't want that.

it doesnt really drain battery that much. go to the OP of a miui rom and get the kernel from there. check on neobuddys rom. he has 2 different kernels u can use.

So Facebook has the new update and I thought I'd go and see how they messed it up this time. So I go to the market and for some reason it says device not comparable with this app. Which is weird cuz I already have Facebook on my phone(who doesn't). Is it just me or can't all atrixes...atri..( don't know plural for atrix) get the update. Or is it all phones can't get cuz the update was pulled or something like that.

I never had problem with the update either. Facebook should be available for any Android device. Also, I think the plural would be Atrices. Seeing as the only word similar to Atrix is matrix.
