HI all, G/F is selling her XDA Exec, she's upgraded to a VF 1605 and doesnt need it any more.

Currently Flashed with the QTEC rom but I can put any one thats on the FTP on before shipping.
I can also put the working Blackberry software on if necessary, you obviously have to have a BB account for it to work properly.

As for the condition once I've got an email from you I'll take some snaps of the XDA and send them over, There arent any as far as I am aware, there are a couple of dots on the screen casing where the keys have contacted but thats about it I believe.

T-Mobile Reps?

Is anyone that's a member here at XDA currently affliliated with T-mobile? I ask this because I am one of the unlucky few who did not make the cut this morning and recieve their fresh HD2... =(
Either way.. if someone here who works for T-Mobile can accurately tell me when you guys are planning to restock, it would greatly be appreciated and I'm sure other members here would like to hear this info as well.. Thanks

well you get $100-150 for switching from a carrier to tmobile.
the winmobile deal is a authorized tmobile deal, but only via phone sales at that number

I work for T-Mobile and I can tell you that even at our flagship location (where I work) we only recieved 20 units. There was very little stock in the initial shipment, I will know more on Friday when I go into work. I'll check back here and if you havent posted anything I'll let you know what I find. Obviously stock will depend on where you are but in general I would say, keep calling the stores in your area and ask to be placed on a call back sheet.
If you are switching over, I can assure you the rep you speak with WILL call you back (if s/he values their paycheck ) I know I would!
They should have a signup sheet for HD2s (We do in our store...)

I switched from ATT to T-Mobile online with no problems. Was not after any of the discounts really though so going in makes sense if thats what you want.

does not say tmobile dealers. The quote is "offer not available at authorized T-Mobile retail stores"
when you call the number it is tmobile's telesales. well i tried to save you $50 more on the phone but i guess that failed

oh well if this helps. I got my phone in store for $199.99 called the number listed and got the $50 credit honored on my account. if that helps any.

Did you check authorized dealers like Radio Shack or Walmart? Minneapolis area is sold out at T-Mo stores but radio shack still had one last night. Also if you have a new account Radio Shack said they had better deals.

It sounds like u need the European/Asian version. It is much easier to get on Ebay and such.

The reason why is the TMo US version will not give you 3G network in Asia or Europe. They make a version that does and it is highly available in Europe and Asia. The great thing is it works in both places so you should be covered. Truth is it would be a better phone for you from the information you've given us.

but anyway, i still prefer the Tmo US version, it comes with a bigger ROM size than the asian & european version, and it also comes with 16GB micro sd.. the Asian only comes with 8GB micro sd..
well, just called my cousin and turn out that he lives in Lynnwood seattle, and the nearest mall is alderwood mall, that has Tmobile retail shop there.. hope they have a new stock in monday..

Why don't you try ebay? You'll pay a little more of course, but at least HD2s are available for purchase.

as i already mentioned above, my cousin is just moved to US for 3 weeks, he doesn't know how to purchase something online (yet). so the only clue that i can give to him is to visit Tmo retail store. is there any news regarding the new stock?

the lady said they received a bunch of different phones, but no HD2
she said that I should be notified when the device arrives since I'm on the waiting list

I wouldn't do it as iv been to China there are thousands of shops there that are a legal company blah blah blah they will say anything to get a buck out of Americans. Id look on eBay or in the mp here before ordering from any company based in China unless it was strait from the manufacture . But that's just me..

Looks like a scam to me.....I could put together a better and more believable website in 15 minutes. Plus, with $40 bucks for shipping, it's not even that great of a deal, especially for something that might be a scam.

These people spam craigslist with endless listings. There are numerous sites where people say they were scammed by them -- things like "they said to send $200 more because it was held in customs", and then they were taken for the purchase price plus the additional money. I have no first hand knowledge, but generally if people take the trouble to go to a scam report site and list them, they must have been taken and mad. I would avoid this one.

I saw, however, that tmobile will sell in their stores, I was wondering if in addition to the version with contract tmobile also sold only the phone, just in case a higher price than the playstore 349usd. thank you very much in advance.

"Rumor" has it T-Mobile USA will market it up to $ 500.00 without a contract (witch I find ridiculous) BUT that hasn't been confirmed .. At this point they are all speculations.

If the markup turns out to be ridiculous (charging 500 USD for a 350 USD phone) then call your hotel (or wherever you're staying) and see if you can get packages delivered there. The delivery should take less than 5-6 business days, so it's doable if you're staying in America more than a week. If that's not the case, then you could always find a quick free vpn trial, vpn to America and purchase the phone before you get here so it's at your hotel before you are (just have them hold it if they will, again make sure it's ok before you do so). Good luck! Enjoy your stay!

Unfortunately my problem is: to buy something on playstore U.S. you have to pay with a American credit card , which unfortunately (and I would say of course ) I did not. I had also thought to send me the N4 to the apartment but would be very risky and unreliable. the only solution would be to find someone who will buy me , but who has all this trust in others?
ps: I'd buy it for 500usd I must admit, that the currency exchange is always much less than 549euros that would 700usd. I would only confirm that it is sold in tmobile stores

Really the trust only has to go one way. If you are willing to take the chance then you pay in advance and you are the only one that needs to trust. If you want the other person to send the phone without getting paid first then that person is the only one that needs to trust someone. You could check with some bank to be the go between and let them hold your money until they get the phone.

it is still a complicated and difficult to accomplish. whether I trusted, to give money to someone I do not know (which I do not think I'd do) and if someone you trust to loan me the money. not to mention that I would only public transportation in a city that does not know to pick up the box. of course now I will try other solutions and this will take it into consideration only as a last choice. plus I also find this person that would make me the favor. thanks anyway for your suggestion.
