Hello everyone. I am having a problem installing applications on my HD2 with WP7. I could unlock it via "Chevron ", but when I install applications through the toms xap some applications are installed and other returns me an error.
Is this normal? It happens only to me?
Try reconnecting the phone, restart it, re-unlock using chevron, check the Windows registry, etc.
The same happens with market for windows applications ...

lol, i think you must unlock the lockscreen, during that operation.
It's unlocked.... i can install some apps...

Hello,
I installed WM6 this morning, and it works, more or less, properly. Now I downloaded the Ext-ROM tools and the Repart_DOC application. After I launched the "unhide" (without a message) and then "unlock", I get the message:
"ERROR: FL_IOCTL_BDTL_HW_PROTECTION - The parameter is incorrect."
When I try to format the Ext ROM with Repart_DOC, it says
"FL_IOCTL_FORMAT_PHYSICAL_DRIVE failed."
Has anyone an idea what I could do?

Multiple problem in one day....
Here's another problem I am having.
Download WST v4 and tried to run it.
a Program Error occured stating:
"Error adding child script: 6!"
what's that? how did fix this so I can load the prog. greatly appreciative for any help.

Almost any program I installed from this site or others ended up with a messege: "An unexpected error has occurred in [file name]. Select Quit and then restart this program, or select Details for more information."
I would realy like to know how do I solve this problem.
My phone is running 1.66.405.2 ROM.
First off, can you give us a link to something that you downloaded and you had this problem with?
Secondly, does it install and then not work, or did it not install?
Finally, what does it say when you get the error and click "details"?
your system wont let me send links so here is a list of names of applictions:
-New SimplePiano with Dual-Touch Enabled
-Star Wars Sounds for Windows Mobile
-SRS WOWHD For HD2
-Lock Screen Middle Tweak - this one runs OK.
it happens after installation when I run the program
and the details starts with "[file name].exe platform not supported exception..." and then a list of what looks like paths.
If theres a need I shell copy it all.

It could be number of issues....
i) Have you installed sdkcerts.cab (and sdkcerts new .cab)?
ii) Are you installing to your SD card or device?...
- Do you have sufficient space on either
iii) Which version of Windows Mobile are you running?
iv) Have you installed the latest version of .NET?
There could be a long list of relatively small bits and pieces that are preventing you from successfully installing and running these .cabs. I know no one likes to do this, but if I were in your shoes and I was sure that I had installed the above...
I would hard reset and therefore not have to worry about this problem.
I. No I havn't installed sdkcerts.cab. What is it and where do I fined it.
II. I install al of it on my device which now have 19.56 MB free for stoרשעק שמג 165.41MB free for programs.
III. windows mobile 6.5
IV. Same as I.

Tried the latest Android Froyo build on my phone with some interesting results.
I downloaded Froyo, copied the Android folder to my SD card, hit CLRCAD and then Haret. Froyo started booting, but after 4-5 lines all stopped. There was nothing happening after 15-20 min, so i pulled the battery, and started the phone again.
Now i get the message (in Norwegian)
"The file <filename> cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of it's components cannot be found. If the problem persists try reinstalling or restorig the file"
The problem is that none of the programs installed on the SD-card runs. They all get the above error.
I can not install any programs (reg editors) because i again get the above message. My registry editor that is already installed wont work, and i can not install anything.
I have tried Googling the problem and i've also searched the forums here in XDA. But i have not found anything that actually might work, because they all wants to install something. I can not install anything, and all of my 3'rd party apps doesn't work.
How do i disable the certificate verification without having to install anything or run any 3'rd part apps??
Is there maybe any program that i can run from my Win7 computer??

hi guys,i'm trying to upgrade the Connection Manager on my Kaiser,and i'ved imported this EXT Pakage from HTC Mega...when i'ved applyed it first time to my ROM it worked...then i'ved deleted some EXT PKg so make some space...when i tryed to run it on the Next build (to run it from the settings menu,the popup with my network shows up and a press hide) i get this Error "Connection Manager.exe cannot be opened, it doesent have a trusted certificat... etc" and my Question is does this app has some dependencies?
