Market - My Downloads - Server Error - Desire HD General

Let me start at the beginning. Whenever it was the new market was available, I installed it manually (2.2.6?)
It autoupdated itself to 2.2.7 no problems.
Yesterday when I hit Downloads it came back with a server error. Today, when I look through apps, I see they don't even show as installed.
I've cleared cache, cleared data (of Market, Market updater and Download manager) and even uninstalled updates, but nothing helps.
Any ideas?

i'm having the same problem

Having the same issue too here. I thought it might be an issue with marketenabler but seeing that you live in the UK Andy, it cant be marketenabler.
edit: actually im using marketaccess, buts thats irrelevant.

Same issue here, suddenly.

works now!

Same here, tried again like 20 min ago, appears to be fine.
Must have just been a google related issue after all. Good thing I didnt try to reflash to fix it.

Problems Downloading from Market with Epic 4G

I bought my wife a new Epic 4G and she has been having problems downloading from the Marketplace. It seems to be a 3G,4G problem. Even Wifi doesn't start right away, yet does seem faster starting than 3g/4g. It does finally work after about 10 minutes. I know it is a phone problem, not a 3G/4g or Wifi problem, because I have an EVO, and at the same time downloading from the market with the EPIC, the EVO has no problems at all. I do notice once it has downloaded the first item, it seems fine for the rest of the day. The 3g was active before my wife went to the Market to download stuff. She had already received her email, so the connection was there.
Is anyone else having problems downloading from the Marketplace on 3G/4G or even wifi? If so, how do I fix the problem. I do have the latest update installed and it still didn't fix the problem.
The Epic seems to have some issue with logging into Gtalk randomly. I have experienced downloads that wouldn't start myself. Simply opening gtalk will log you in (most of the time) and the download will start almost instantly.

Missing Apps
Same issue here. Many Paid and free apps are missing. Bad deal since I need the phone for work and now I can't get my TouchDown Exchange Client working because it lost the key I paid for on the Market

For me it is not the issue where the download fails to start (though I have seen that too). This issue is that the apps are "not found" on the market place.
NOTE: I can see the apps from my EVO just fine, just not on the EPIC.
Evo is on froyo isn't it? Mabye they are protected apps and won't been seen unless you are running a phone with Froyo. Unless google hasnt registered I18 as a approved build yet.

Interesting... I notice that if I install(ed) a ROM (in this case Epic_Experience_v1.1.3) the apps are missing.
If I wipe the phone and restore a nandroid from a few days ago the apps show up.
Not sure what that means, but at least I can get back to using my email. Still learning all this ROM, Root, Kernel stuff.

I concur with these findings. I'm running Epic Experience 1.1.3 and if I search Market I can _not_ see such popular FREE apps such as Fandango, Where and Google Places Directory.
No idea why..

There have been several threads about this issue. Google has to take action in the Market to recognize the DI18 firmware as legitimate. (Perhaps Sprint has to take action to goose Google into taking action.)
This same problem occurred for several days after the last update.
See this post earlier at xda.
yeah this is pissing me off considering it all worked just a day ago...
I had my Epic rooted ever since I got it....the last few days it got sluggish and got bricked. I got it back to stock tonight and I can't upload apps either. I'm on the version ending in "7" when I went back to stock...if anyone can offer tips that is reading this would be greatly appreciated!!!
im getting annoyed by this GTalk sign in issue... not only I use gtalk alot but also market won't work without it.
I noticed I get signed off and loose connection almost every time I make/receive a call. Or sometimes just randomly.
Hey have you tried this?? I just did this below....
****UPDATE 4 hours later*******
so after screwing with everything I could possibly (clearing cache, resetting phone, rebooting countless times, etc) I logged out then back in to TALK using my gmail account and VOILA! everything downloaded.

Anyone have the new Android Market APK?

I recently reset my phone back to stock and for some reason the Market isn't updating by itself.
it's a problem EVERYONE is having right now, if u can connect to wifi it works, some say opening gtalk helps too
edit: apparently now my gtalk can't login now either fawkkkkk
my market actually never updated on its own. im still stuck on the old version. Any reason as to why this is?
well we're talking about manuall updating actually
Would the Google Apps zip for CyanogenMod 6 or 5 work? Assuming is has the latest of everything that is.

He said it isn't updating itself.
Weeks back it was randomly updating itself on different phones. Mine never updated.
+1 on the !update. Never got it. Ever. Did manual update, phone eventually b0rked, did a hard reset, still haven't gotten it. My mother's Transform got it within minutes of coming out of the box. (Actually, after installing a GMaps update.)
here it is
The Android Vending
omg, dude, this is awesome, it worked, is there a newer version?
is this working on HTC hd2 custom android version ?

MoTweets Crashing??

Hi guys.
I did a search on this issue but it didn't bring up any results.
I'm having issues with motweets crashing on me, anyone else had similar problems and if so can you recommend a fix please?
I'm a UK user on Virgin, I generally keep my phone clean and tidy. Not many apps on it to be honest, plenty of spare memory on both the phone and the memory card. I run cleanRAM and Temp Clear at least once a day and reboot the phone every couple of days just to be on the safe side. I've uninstalled (motweets) and reinstalled it several times on to both the phone and the card but it does the same on either. Basically it started crashing (completely closing with no warning) once a week or so, but now it does it almost immediately after it's updated when I start the programme. I'm pretty sure it's not a 'newer' version than the one I've been using for a few months now, with no issues previously, so I don't think it's a 'software update' problem from Panoramic.
Any suggestions because I can't work it out? Am I missing something really obvious, like a cache folder that needs emptying, or something similar.
I'm by no means an expert but neither would I say I'm a novice too, so any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
Regards.
Darren.
I have no problems with Motweets,I'm also on Virgin and have loads of Apps loaded on my phone.
Currently running V 1.8.5 which I believe is the latest version brought out
to solve the Oauth log in problems...
Hope that is some help to you Flatcap ?
yip - have had the same problem today.
motweets has worked fine so far. but to say it crashes around 5-15 secs after opening

Sounds almost identical to my problem, very strange.
I was using HTC Peep but moved over to motweets after the OAuth c**k up. And to be honest, as a Twitter App, it's streets ahead of Peep so I stayed with it. I am using the free version though, the adverts are discreet enough, so I don't really see them as a problem.
Flatcap.
I had the same problem, went back to using the built in app for a while, then after a few days tried MoTweets again and it worked fine for a couple of weeks.
Now it's crashing as above once more!

Market problem

Everytime i go into the downloads section of the android market i keep getting a server error. Anyone else having this trouble?
I've tried clearing the cache but still it persists.
I had this problem over the weekend - started Saturday night, and was back working my Sunday morning.
I also had an error indicating that my device was incompatible with marketplace. I googled it a bit and found out that this had been happening to many devices, especially Samsung devices, over the weekend and that it was an issue on Google's end.
My best suggestion would be to wait it out for a bit. Perhaps uninstall and reinstall marketplace?
I had some issues which were resolved by grabbing an APK for the new market updating and installing this - doesn't require root either so should be pretty safes.

Well i've installed the new market but i'm still having the same problem, hoping its a problem at google's end.
I had that prob until 5 mins ago then it was ok again
Must be google end

Its got to be googles end. Heaps of people worldwide are complaining about this.
waste a lot of time yesterday, today everything works again
It suddenly started working again this morning. At least the new market place looks nice.

What's up with the Market?

Starting today, I'm only seeing 6 Featured Tablet Apps and the list doesn't expand. I can stil expand the Top Free Apps section, but there was a third section there yesterday (I don't remember what it was) and now that's gone. I still have the categories and things still seem to be searchable.
No root yet.
Just have been installing apps.
And literally, now it's back.
I'm having the same issue. I've done several reboots and a factory reset thinking it might be something to do with the device itself, but nothing changes. It worked fine yesterday when I bought it. Hopefully this issue clears itself up soon.

All I did to clear it up was to just start searching around for apps. I literally searched "tablet apps", took a look at a couple of the results in detail, then backed out to the home menu and then there everything was.
I wonder if it's related to Honeycomb in general.
its the samefor me .but take your browser to the market site and works well.
tthis xda site is/slow for me tonight for some reason boohooo
same for me as well. However after i root the my AA500, it back.. Go figure!!!
