Pixel Qi + Wifi + 3G model

like sagro, i'll be using my phone to tether with the adam, so i went with pixel Qi + WiFi. I'm hoping to be able to replace my nook with the adam as an ebook reader, as well as my netbook for couch surfing, and my macbook pro for storing digital photos when traveling. I hope the adam can deliver all that

I hope so too, maybe i would like to boot under ubuntu

I got the LCD + wifi.
I wanted the PixelQi one, but then I quickly realized that i'll never actually be outside, also where I live we don't have the sun very often.

I ordered the Pixel QI with WiFi. My Eco is rooted for teather so no need for 3g.

[Q] Keyboard dock, does it come with extra charger?

Anybody that has purchased the keyboard dock, does it come with an extra power adapter/charger?
I saw in Walmart.com they mentioned that it comes with one.
http://www.walmart.com/ip/Asus-TF101-Docking/16474475
Asus TF101-B1 Tablet Docking Station:
•Shortcut function keys
•Enable Wi-Fi or Bluetooth via single key
•SD card reader
•USB 2.0 port
•Multi-touch touchpad
•Up to 16 hours battery life with dock
•Includes slim profile power adapter
The one's that Asus are sending out in the UK don't, and the packaging wouldn't appear to accomodate one either.
U.S. model does not come with extra charger. I wish it did. You have to use the short charger cable and plug that comes with the Eee Pad TF

Not necessarily, these companies can be kinda chincy at times.
My UK tablet/dock bundle only came with the one charger.
Mine is coming today from Newegg, I'll report back on what it comes with.
I just got one a few days ago from Amazon and it does not include a charger.
Per manual ( image below) no charger.

Is it possible to use the Nexus 10 to recharge the smartphone?

As the title says, I'd like to do this, use the smartphone as a wifi hotspot for the nexus 10, but since the hotspot drains the battery heavily, and its likely that when ill turn the tablet on, the smartphone has already been on for many hours, id like to know if it would be possible to connect the two with a cable, so that the smartphone gets some power from the tablet's battery, thus prolonging the smartphone's battery life for the day.
Thanks all!
No, I tried with my nexus 7 and it would not turn on for 3 hours

What the phone you charge ?
It may work with an OTG cable so the tablet is pumping juice and not receiving..
Back in the day my XOOM could power a 2.5" WD Passport HDD, or charge my HTC Desire. Got rid of it before I could test it on my SGS2 and SGS3 and Galaxy Note though.

Will the nexus 10 support otg? I heard that otg support for the nexus 7 is somewhat limited or something...
I'm using the OTG cable for connecting my hard drive (powered) and ps3 control pad to it. Works perfectly fine

What is less battery drain method ???

Hi guys
I want help from u....I'm planing to get N7...
.I want to know what is less battery draining method to using the internet on N7
using wifi network or use of 3g usb dongle via USB ON THE Cable ????
what is best method ?/
thanks
WiFi is best. You can do a test yourself, 3g will give you probably at least an hour less battery life if not more. This is my experience from using WiFi and 3g on a phone. That dongle may be quite thirsty too.
I have a little box which the dongle plugs into and creates a wireless hotspot. It's battery powered, lasts about 5 hours and is something I bought for use with my laptop.

Wifi of course!
I just tether mine to my phone, works great. Now... the phone battery on the other hand! :silly:
ya mate..phone battery is drain like fast and furious

Wireless charger

Hello there folks, I just received a free Nexus wireless charging dock and was wonder if there was anyway to use it with my note 4? Or is it completely useless to me since I don't have any nexus devices? Also I'm on a rooted devices so an Xposed module that happens to exist that would help me with my problem would be awesome.
Thank you & happy holidays!

Wireless Charging Issues

I bought a Xiaomi Wireless Charger which supports for universal Qi wireless charging standard but it's not working on my OnePlus 8 Pro which support Qi wireless charging standard as well.
I wonder if anyone have the same issues as me?
I have 3 different brands of QI wireless chargers and they all work on my 8 pro, I have the samsung one, i have cheap one from amazon and my alarm clock next to my bed has QI wireless pad and my 8 pro works fine with all of them.
Mine also works with the pixel stand that I bought when I had the Pixel 3 XL.

Yeah, I have a couple of budget-Qi chargers, and they work fine with my 8 Pro, they charge it right up, zero-issues.
I've been using under-case coils, ever since Win-Phone died off (my old 1020 and L950XL both had Qi, early for the time, and it addicted me, and other family members ;-]), so we've got a few chargers, between home/travel.
Not sure about wireless fast-charge though, I don't see the need (I can plug-in, if I need fast, which isn't that often), most times.
