I know everybody knows MMS isn't working on Froyo 2.2 roms. Im starting this thread so people can discuss this issue further and maybe we can help each other figure out this problem. I am currently on Cricket network with a Droid Eris flashed with 2.1 Sense rom. I have been flashing new Froyo ROMS over and over trying to figure out the MMS issue with no luck. I used this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...postcount=3015 and was able to fix MMS partially. I was able to receive MMS's but couldnt send them. Any feedback or suggestions would be great.

could you let the rest of us rooted eris cricket users.. i am trying hard to update, right now i am on sense 2.1 and want to upgrade

i dont know why i waited so long to do it but im glad i did. it is awesome. i was ready to throw the phone into the wall with the stock rom, so i tried this dcd's 1.6.8 rom for verizon and it is awesome. very polished and the phone and internet worked right away after the rom was updated. i didnt even need to do a *228 or call verizon to let them know my phone wasnt working due to a hard reset.
it is faster, more stable and just nice and clean re-freshing feeling. all the issues i had with the stock rom are gone.

Im wondering, i was a tad too quick to flash the 2.2 .. well what you say.. research better before flashing beta firmwares..
im searching for a way to revert to 2.1 is that even possible? do i have to wait until official 2.2 is out? since im danish i really love the keyboard in the 2.1 due to the danish special characters.

in 2.1 eu version, in the email application you can only specify 3 digits in the outgoing smtp port number ( thats a bug no?)

Looking for Instructions on going from Froyo 2.2 to Eclair 2.1 on VM Intercept
I purchased this VM Intercept thats on Froyo 2.2 - its used. When i push ##VIRGIN# to try to register my # it doesnt work. I think since its a SPRINT ROM it doesnt have that built in.
Can anyone help me please - ive been trying to research but I cant figure it out.
Ive found the following files that might help me:

I am simply looking for a rom (other than Powerwashed) that works with Cricket with no other BS required. Just flash and reboot.
I have no idea why this forum is so much more convoluted than the Eris forums, but it's hard to find things here.
im just trying to find out if i put a custom rom on my fascinate will it remove my flash.
im running 2.1 O.F and lots of apps tell me to update to 2.2
