After i performed a Hard Reset for this device, the sreen came out with a weak lighting and no longer logged into windows
When plugging the USB cable with the PC, the signal light was still in red, looked like it was being connected with my PC.
Anyone can show me how to set this device into bootloader mode or perform a hard-buttons Hard Reset?

to enter Bootloader mode:
Hold the two buttons next to Send and End + Power, and then press the reset button with stylus
to hard reset:
Hold Send + End + Power and press reset button with stylus should produce a message saying something like all clear.

hi, after instaling pretty much of applications on my wizard it just stopped respond. if u do a soft reset it boots but freezest on todays screen and thats it. there is a massage dispalied "low memory". i cannot do a hard reset, upgrade rom anything. is there any other way to perform a hard reset ?? (i tried comm mnr+voice+plus soft reste) HELP !!!

Some people have joy with - turn off - press and hold comm, record and camera buttons and press power on.
If that fails you should be able to flash your device with the same rom. Turn off, press camera button and hold then press power button and bootloader multicolored screen should come up. Connect via usb to pc and reflash rom.

I installed SPB Pocket Plus, then I reboot, since then my mobile stops in the boot screen.
Is there a way to boot in safe mode? (I tryied to boot holding the two upper buttons, failed.)
Is there a way to format the mobile before booting?
If I need to reinstall EVERYTHING, how do I do it? Using the USB cable? Where do I get the ROM? How do I procede installing the rom?

I did a hard reset now...
A quick Google search got me HERE.
Press and hold both the Comm Mannager Button and the Voice Command Button
While keeping those two buttons pressed, press the Reset Button with your stylus
After about a second you will be prompted for confirmation. Press the Talk Button to confirm

Additionally, if you can still connect to your desktop by USB Cable, you should be able to remove the offending software with ActiveSync without hard-reseting.

that's how i did it:
Plug the device on power
Turn on your device
1. Press simultaneously the 2 upper buttons (comm. & voice) and keep them pressed
2. After 3 s press the soft reset button and keep it pressed for 3 s, (comm. & voice are still pressed)
3. Release soft reset button., (comm. & voice are still pressed)
4. Don’t release comm. & voice buttons until you see on the black screen some Instructions to format your drive.
5. release comm. & voice buttons
6. press call button to start format your drive.

I bought my HTC 3400i Last month. Yesterday my HP laptop was connected to internet and I connected my forbile for charging. After one hour the screen of my mobile started flickering so I disconnected and reinserted. Then there was a heavy Flicker. I switched it off. Now its not starting. I tried the Hard reset, but the light of my charging and both soft keys are glowing. Then it turns off.

1. Remove battery
2. Press & hold power button for few second
3. Insert battery
4. Press POWER button + both soft keys ( key just above green & red keys) together.
if everything is fine there would be a text on screen and will ask you to press send key then press Green key

I bought a new phone (HTC TOUCH 2) from China.
It is same as the original one.
My problem is: I can't do a HARD RESET or Soft Reset by Button.
I searched the forums and found some talking about pressing (VOLUNEUP+VOLUMEDOWN+Power.
others talking about VOLUMEDOWN+Power
I tried every possible key compinations to do the HARD RESET with no success.
When i press VOLUNEUP+VOLUMEDOWN+Power, a green screen show up with the bellow data:
"THIS OPERATION WILL SET KITL MODE.
CURRENT SETTING........
DISABLE KITL: CAMERA
PASSIVE KITL:VOLUMEDOWN
ACTIVE KITL: VOLUMEUP
I searched for a Camera button but it seems this button is not there at all, only one tall button on the left side for Volume (up+down)
Also there is no Reset button at all, i searched every where in the mobile with no success even if i remove the styles, nothing there at all.
is there any help?
I have some problem with my htc clone i have no camera button but i must change kitl to disable to comunicate my htc with pc with active or passive kitl mode usb connection are not recognized by my pc. Is there any way to change kitl mode using wm mobile aplication or something like that i want to change my rom too. cause this one is probably for another htc with camera button

Go to menu -> settings -> system -> clear storage to hard reset your phone
don't work with my problem after clear storage kitl stays in passive mode i need disable for usb comunication
Also, all owners of this mobile having the below problems:
1- Can't load normal Rom files (.nbh), they should load it through a flash memory
2- Rom File size should be smaller than 128mb.
3- Can't connect it with PC Post#2.
4- No Camera Button !!!!

I would never trust a clone for a wm as i do keep all of my work on it. Never ever trust a chinese clone company for this. Better to pay a few dollars more and buy the real one than risk loosing all of my data kept.

Press (VolumeUP + VolumeDown + Power) then select Passive again...Working fine
Once press the "Windows logo" + "Volume Up" + "Power" working hard reset
Hard Reset is easy. Press the Volume up an down key from the center.i.e press it form the middle. like that both the up an down keys would be pressed. then Power on. Easy. yes it wasn't easy for me too in the start but a bit more pressure and it works.

I have the same problem. Yesterday I put my cell phone passive KITL mode, but when I connect to my computer, nothing happens.
I did hard reset and soft reset but nothing happens.
Help me!
have you installed microsoft activesync (windows XP) or windows mobile device center (vista or 7)? i think you have to install those first.

hi
my little brother made a pattern lock and forgot the pattern, after many tries the phone erased everything
he doesn't know the email he used it on phone or the password
now it boots welcome screen and asks for the old email, i did tried make new but it doesn't works.
so i figured i should just wipe everything with hard reset
from what i read and saw some videos, i should turn off and then connect to power then wait a little, then press power and vol up for 10 seconds then release my finger from the power button.
i tried it many many times but it doesn't works.
any help?
Switch off your phone,then connect the charger to your phone and quickly press and hold volume up and power buttons,after the screen is blinking a bit release power button,but hold volume up until you are in recovery mode.
it doesn't works, it's like the vol up doesn't work when the phone is switched off, but when i power on the phone and finish booting i can vol up.
i can enter download mode (vol down + power) but it doesn't do anything.

ok, managed boot to recovery mode, did wibe out data, after i restarted, it asked me the email that been used on the same device before format, however my little brother can't even remember the email he used.
Send it to Care Center...they will fix it
