I'm sure you did a quick google search and brought up that link, watched 2 seconds of you youtube video and felt helpful. But I joined this forum just so I could point out to you that all you've done is post an advertisement housing a dead link to a site you need to pay for an unlock code anyway.

I got a T Mobile G1 UK, locked with RC9. I can’t ring T Mobile because I’m not a customer there. Can anyone tell me if it’s possible to do it free or if not a reliable website that can help me if I have to purchase something?

Yes there is a thread on unlocking on the Dev section of the Dream forum. Try searching there some more, as I saw one UK thread that had a little info.

Heres a link to a sim unlocking thread that deals with the US G1, but I imagine it's prob pretty similar.
The only way to get a free code is by having a t-mobile customer to get one for you. One of your friends, or anyone kind enough to get you one from xda. I'm hoping I can find someone as well.

I've been sent this link from a new member [djdiablo] who can't post links yet.
The links fine and legit, I also know of the member who sent me link from the AndroidForum so again nothing to worry of.
Bear in mind though by default it's a Chinese site but Google Translate automatically translated the entire contents easily.
Anyway, the link which goes to the Mobile01 web site has instructions and lots of detailed pictures in how to dissect the i9000 Galaxy S.

Yes, I feel these pics could prove very valuable to the Dev Team/ROM cookers as they will be able to see each part that is inside the phone so they will know what they are about to deal with.

I badly want to root my samsung tab 10.1 but I would love to have someone to walk me through on doing this.
I can read some of the stuff posted here but the risk of bricking my tab because of me misunderstanding something written is not acceptable.
Hope someone can walk me through this... experts?

If your understanding of something written is not acceptable, tinkering deep in your tab probably is not something you should be doing

If you follow this video step by step you will have no problems. Watch it all the way through a couple times first to get comfortable with the procedure. It won't take long at all.

There's nothing shady about it. Shure if you subscribe through my link it will help my chances of winning but that doesn't meen I'll win it or that I have something to do with it if only that I'm a contestant. Is your option to subcribe or not you could go to the web site without using my link and enter the contest or you could buy one. As far from how many ROM's it will have install I don't know but it's at least one more that the ones you'll get from the one you'll buy of contract.
