I'm quite confused actually. What's the difference between those 3? Are they the same?
After read a ton of threads, seems like Sense and Manila means the same. But I realize that TouchFlo is seldom mentioned in this forum.
My Mega is stocked with TouchFlo 2.0.2016.3224 is that = Sense Version 2.0 (build 2016.3224)? Does it means I have Manila 2D?
This is my stock ROM info:
ROM: 1.37.728.3 (95995)
ROM Date: 07/22/10
Radio: 3.54.25.25
Protocol: 61.55t.25.38H
Does this means whenever I look for themes to download I have to look for those created for Sense 2.0 only? Anyway to upgrade to Sense 2.5 so I can try themes like GTX?
its alwasy confused me as well....i believe manilla and touchflo 2d are the same thing
i think sense refers to touchflo 3d which i don't think the mega supports....
i am probably;y way off though

it says Manila 2D or TouchFlo 2D == M2D which i think is the same thing. Manila = TouchFlo. and then i've updated my mega yesterday and i got Sense instead of Touchflo.
so my conclusion is TouchFlo 2D = Manila 2D = Sense 2.0. please correct me if i'm wrong.
edit: Manila/Sense 2.5 IS TouchFlo 3D. which mega doesn't support.
Indeed if you want to cut a long story short than manila 2D = touch flo 2D. And "sense" is commonly used for touch flo 2.5 = 3D.

So back to my 2nd QNS, which means Mega cannot ever have Sense 2.5 or TouchFlo 3D??
I'll never be able to enjoy themes like GTX??
Damn... Time to start cooking... T_T
It is not that it is impossible...but requires a lot of work ......for some devices 3D drivers have been developed....
There are GTX theme's for 2D aswell....I posted a link last week http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=697530 ....and when you search you will find more.....

I can install the 2D Manila qvga version on my universal. but it only appear a quarter of the today.
Is 2D Manila from diamond which is VGA version?

The Diamond has Manila3D not Manila2D. Manila2D came from a QVGA device.
Hi. I was looking at the Manilla 2D thread and to be honest I find it somewhat confusing. can anyone tell me the steps to take with my touch 3g to get it working. here are my questions:
1/ What is the install order of the files to get Manilla 2D working? (including bug fixes)
2/ Can Manilla 2D be easily uninstalled?
3/ There is a program I saw mentioned which allows browsing and then choosing of Manilla 2D skins. Does it allow you to use Touch Flo 2D as an option?
4/ Do I have to get a new ROM to do this?

Why do you post this in the Jade (Touch 3G) forum ?
TouchFlo 2D ( = Manilla 2D) is already installed on the Touch 3G. There is no need to install Manilla.
Ok I saw the skins and thought that I needed to install something on top of touch flo 2D. I thought manilla was something different. So therefore all I need to do is install the theme manager and get going with downloading themes.

try the sunx rom manila 2.5 (!!!!!!!!!!) .. available for 6.1 and 6.5 ....
testet both and atm i think 6.1 is a bit better in speed and less bugs.. but that's just my opinion and its just a quick check^^ ....

This is the Diamond forum, you're better off in the Diamond2 forum if you own that device.
That said 2.6 will never work with any MSM72xx devices according to conflipper. It is made for the HTC Quillin which uses a different chipset and thus a different GFX chipset.
And don't follow the suggestions of these guys, you'll probably brick your Diamond2 if you install a Diamond ROM on it.

ok i got htc touch diamond updated to wm 6.5 but when i click on lanch htc sense it says unable where am i able to download it again?
I hate of the TouchFLO 2.0 that just give some of the limited animations.

Pesonally I wouldn't recommend it for diamond since wm 6.5 and touchflo 3d = lot of memory usage.
