Have app idea, need developer, will pay - Hero, G2 Touch General

I have an idea for an application that I (and a few other android friends) believe would be rather popular in the market. Unfortunately, I have no dev skills or even knowledge besides basic introductory in programming. I'm looking to speak with someone who has development skills and might want to help me make an app and also share in the profits (if we made it a paid app). If anyone is interested could you please PM me?
Thanks!

Looking for an Android Developer

I currently have a conceptualized android application and am now accepting requests from developers. I cannot discuss to much about the app but it does do some pretty revolutionary things and utilizes parts of the phone that other apps haven't.
What we are looking for:
Someone who is willing to see the project through, and someone who is willing to do this project in a timely concise manner.
Someone who like a challenge.
Someone who is willing to do this for free to gain experience or broaden their portfolio.
If you are interested in learning more about this app or want to start building it please email me
Do you have any technical background at all?
Also, there's a very high chance it has been done already.
so this guy doesn't get smashed with the spam comments? go figure.

Have tons of app ideas..

..and no programming knowledge.
Is there a resource for those of us with great, profitable ideas without the knowledge to make them happen? By the time I learn the language, the ideas may have either been developed, or no longer relevant.
Just curious what kind of input you guys might have.
Just Post them
Just Post your ideas in this Thread. Any developer willing to do one could write a quick post to stick an idea to himself/herself....
Cant wait to see your ideas..
Best Ragards,
Hans Moleman
google app invenotr should do whilst learing code
You could start a thread with your ideas, and maybe will other people follow you and start sharing their
As MacaronyMax said Google App Inventor is supposed to be easy enough for non programmers. You might want to give it a shot.
Ive been waiting to get invited to Google app inventor for two months...
I have Google App Inventor. Don't expect a miracle, it's just a tool. At the moment it's very limited in my opinion. The example with the cat in their own video is a good example of what you cán create, but don't think you can make professional apps with it.

[Q] Newbie needs advice on app development

I'm an IT consultant so I'm not a dummie, but I'm not exactly a programmer either.
We need to create an inventory/audit app for an Android tablet. I looked at the Eclipse documentation and I don't think I want to take the time to learn Java well for just this one app. Which leaves me with these options.
Has anybody used Mobiforms to create apps, and would a smart but untrained newbie be able to develop something reasonably quickly? They don't offer a trial version which I find more than annoying.
Should I just outsource the project to somebody in Bangladesh? I have some experience outsourcing.
Any other recommendations on getting an app created relatively quickly?
Thanks!
Or Google App Inventor...
No offense, but the outsource to Bangladesh comment isn't going to win you a lot of friends that aren't in Bangladesh.
I'd say try app inventor and see what you can learn, you'll know in relatively short order if it will do what you need.
Otherwise maybe you're in over your head and someone should outsource you to Bangladesh. ( kidding! ). Seriously though, if you don't find what you need I would hire out at that point.
I don't know much about Mobiforms, but their website looks terrible. Not that a website is the final word on a company but it strikes me as odd at least.
Thanks.
I spent an while with App Inventor. While it is surprisingly useful it lacks one thing that I must have, that being read/write access to the file system.
Today I just discovered Basic4Android and WOW! I haven't coded in basic in many years, but it's still easier to re-learn that than to learn Java from scratch. I'm sure none of the developers here have any interest in it, but for the occasional hobbiest like myself it's a lot easier to start out with. I recommend it for anybody who doesn't plan on making a career of Java programming or who already have a background in BASIC.
I reviewed Mobiforms and not only is their website aweful, but the documentation for it is aweful too. I can't recommend it for anything.
I will probably still outsource this project though.

need help to build app

Hey there. I need help to make an app for tablets. Its not going to be exciting, its for productivity. I need to make an app for estimations for inslation companies. I already have the layout and what needs to go into it in a PDF file but do not have the experience to create the app. I need help and will make it worth while. Pm me if you can help. Peace
I suggest starting with an online introductory course in Java programming.
simple app?
Google has a app creation program.I think its called app inventor.its in Google mobile.in the labs area.good luck
Google app inventor doesn't allow tablet apk formation at the moment. At least not that I could work out. Stretching the screen view via a tool method is innefficeint at best and I need a stand alone product for a tablet. Learning Java at the moment is a time consuming effort and I am looking for someone to aid me in my endevour. I will make it worth their time but I need someone who is interested. Maybe I should post this request in the general android forums. Not so much love here yet but thanks for the advice so far.

Need a Developer.

I have an idea for an app that would help my small business immensely. I, however, possess minimal knowledge in Android development. I've rooted, flashed custom ROMs, done a lot of intermediate stuff, but never written my own application.
I have checked out a lot of "Make your own App" websites, all of which are very clunky and not quite what I'm looking for.
So for starters, if you have a site you would recommend, please post a link. I'd like to create it myself, but really don't have time whilst running a business to learn how to code.
The alternative would be paying one of you fine developers to do it for me. We don't have a tech department, and the area I live in isn't full of technologically savvy individuals.
I checked through the forum rules, and although it prohibits the sale of personal products, I couldnt find anywhere it prohibited offering a job. Moderators, if this isnt allowed, I'd be happy to take it down.
I'd be willing to donate many beers to someone that feels confident they could help me out. If so, PM me and I'll give you more details as to what the app requires and what my budget looks like.
Doesn't hurt to ask.
tell me more
