There's some really great and stunning games on Android, and as the HD2 is now running this OS, and got some powerfull hardware, lets discuss by time, which games works and which games does not, for you. And possible solutions to make non working games work.

Prism 3D
HD2 Compatibility: Works
Price: Free from Market Place
Describtion: Control a bouncing ball through the level, with the accelerometer. Don't fall off the sides! There's 25 levels so lots of game time. And even better there's a map editor too so that you can create your own game levels!
Graphics: Lots of colors, good level design, high resolution, very smooth. 9/10
Controls: Works pretty well, but sometimes the slow accelerometer respond feels a bit awkward. 7/10.
Lasting Appeal: Lots of levels, plus create your own! 10/10.
Conclusion: Great challenging game, which is fun to play and is free!

HD2 Compatibility: Works
Price: Both a paid version, and a demo.
Describtion: Experience World War II's most epic and legendary air battles in Asia and Pacific theaters.From the attack on Pearl Harbor, and all the way to the bombing of Tokyo, take command of 12 famous Pacific fighters and bombers in a challenging 3D game.
Graphics: Fully 3D game. Low resolution, fine models and textures. 8/10
Controls: You control your airplane with the accelerometer. Its pretty hard in the beginning but you'll get used to it. 7/10
Lasting Appeal: Levels are very different, but gameplay is mostly the same. 7/10
Conclusion: A fun game, and really interesting if you're into WWII stuff. The demo is worth a look, but try that before buying.

mini plane is a very good game and addictive i think yall should try that i got it working full screen with quite good graphics on my hd2!
Is there anyway to run downloaded flash games? I try to "open with" HTMLviewer(well, it's opera of android? lol) but it doesnt work.
I know its highly unlikely but anyone managed to get psx4droid working, it asks me where the bios is takes it, and asks me for a rom image takes that but then i get a black screen, would of been fun to see that working lol

I had the same issue with a black screen and no game boot on different roms.
Yes I managed to get psx4Droid working full speed like in FPSEce. But games taht works are only few. From my favorite 7 I managed to paly only Parasite Eve. Played it for bit. Sound is meh, but without it its awesome. Still FPSEce is so much better.
The black screen means that the game is not supperted (like mine 6 games = all blackies)
Also I get Gangstar: West Coast Hustle running nicely. Only whiel driving car by G-sensor it lags.
Edit: Also Skies of Glory works great and it's fun game =)

Fifa and NBA is as good as my iphone and its better I would say with the gamepad on my hd2~
For fifa just in case you are as blind as me (you can enable the game pad for directions instead of the acmeter , just off the acmeter and you can change how your joy pad format in settings !

I've been using the psx4droid compatibility list for settings ect on the HTC evo section of XDA. Seems to work great for the HD2 using the 40/50 framerate for most of them.

Here are a few games i would recommend with great graphics and great gameplay.
1. Heavy Gunner (spaceship shooting game)
2. CaligoChase (RPG game, didnt really play with it but it seems to be a good game)
3. Raging Thunder 2 (Of course)
4. Asphalt 5 (kinda laggy sometimes)
Here are some nice little games with nice graphics and are good to kill time
1. Tower Bloxx ( just like on the iphone but i wonder why it is a bit choppy here, i always wanted this game for WM!)
2. Farm Frenzy ( just like on Symbian and on a PC version)
3. Blow Up (very nice game with good graphics that requires you to set dynamites to blow up a structure built by sticks)
EDIT: Dungeon Hunter is not working. it just takes me back to the home screen whenever i try to launch it :-(
Ok so last night I tried out
MotoXmayhem was gutted because of the g-sensor reminded me of trials hd to
Guitar Hero games excellent in any version all play great not so good in landscape
Asphalt 5 nice looking not very smooth all the way through still playable though
1 V's 100 was ok nice easy fun plays well
where can i find moto x mayham?
So Backbreaker is also a very nice game

Nova is by far the best fps game i've played on a mobile device.
I was sad enough to borrow my friends ipod touch just to finish the game!

before You get overexcited let me clarify few things:
- it is not a port. it's fallout-like product (clone as devs would like to call it) without an option to play original f1, f2 files. it's got it's own story which takes place in Russia
- translation to english is HORRIBLE. I really hope that someone like hotforwords is going to help those guys to make it useful.
- it does work quite well, but gameplay is slightly different from original.
anyway... this may be interesting in the future, but all my hopes are with soon-to-be-released fpsece 0.1.

2. I won't translate it, as my native language is not russian, so that's why I have suggested that some proper translator should be used instead of some pc translator.

next thing: why you used such strange pathfinding method...it is SO annoying now..i've seen on russian subforum exact visualisation of the problem made by someone.
small idea: scrolling might be i.e. 10 px step instead of nightmarish fluid BUT slow method..
impatiently waiting for answer, or next versions,

hm... I am really confused now. where did You get it from that I am the author of PF?? no, I am not an author of it and I am not related with anyone involved in this project.
imho this game does have quite large potential indeed, but it is nothing really special at this stage.
regarding fpsece I don't really care about who was that hacker, the important thing is that project isn't dead. don't get me wrong, but I beileve that real psx emu is kind of an ultimate thing in gaming on pocket pc and while other emus are entertaining, I would swap ALL of them just for this one after it's complete.

ok tried it out n so far here r my impression
i tried it out on my wizard and it worked the graphics were beatutiful n the opening sequence was so much like fallout the origional i had flashback but unfortunatly my wizard just aint strong enough to play it needs more power ah wel
but besides tht i tried it out on my PC and i found
one like someone said before the translation unfortunately leaves much to be desired
two n this is thw worst part on running through the trial building behind tht preast when i get to tht locked door i open it using the hack option but as soon as i step through it it hangs i tried it different ways but same results hopefully there would b some kind of fix for it

I have the same problem.
Have anybody tried yet reckless racing on their HD2 android .. graphics are awesome and might need some overclocking, but I'm interested in knowing if anybody tried out yet.

Best racing game for android in my opinion. It runs smooth on my hd2. I really like the "micro machines esque" overhead gameplay. Its nice to see something different. The accelerometer based 1st person racing games aren't really fun to play, more of a novelty.
Definitely gonna check this out looks like loads of fun

Well, to tell you the truth, I never played it, I just can't install it. It's ridiculous. I've tried apk, market and adb thing, nothing works for me. Same thing with the Seasons version.

Hawx works? I've only ever seen the HD version. Is there a lower res version out for it? Or do new ones just resize?
Yes it works great, I have already beaten the game. I think it's the same version (3.3.1 in my case) but just with hvga textures. I had some issues with downloading the additional data so I just got it from some LG gt540 device and put it on my SD.
I tought it would be nice to have a topic where folio 100 users could discuss good working games en applications...so here it is.

I will test it on 1.3 too when I have time to upgrade. But I see no reason why it would not work.

I'm Sorry, i didn't realize that the site was illegal , i saw the link in the Toshiba Forum and at first it looked okay. I already unistalled all the apps i have downloaded.
I was wondering how people are able to download payed apps from within 1.3 foliomod. Do you know any legal site to do that?

I just updated dungeon defenders and i must say its much faster and stable now! This game is awesome, a must buy in my opinion! Great graphics, amazing gameplay, and for 2.99 is a bargain. Better than many expensive console games.

Could you make a review? Because I don't understand the game and the goals :s
The game objective is to defend the cristals from the evil creatures that were accidentally released from inside one of this crystals were the anciens had locked them a long time ago. You have to place defenses and traps in stratagic points to keep the cristal safe. You will need mana to cast this defenses, and you get it by resisting through this waves of creatures. You also can improve or upgrade this defenses. When you are ready you touch the cristal and the enemy starts the attack. If the crystal is destroyed you lose. i wanna add a little tip to this great review, you can swap your hero in the build phase so you can diff types of deffence like those spike things with some kind of gun or trap behind it from one of the other hero's, also if when you swap heros you can drop the mana they have before you swap so the one you swap to can pick it up
as for apps i have found to work well

There isn't any dedicated game section on this forum apart from this which I think wasn't properly organised.
This thread is mainly a repository for the RECOMMENDED games for Optimus One and a few tips and tricks for an amazing gaming experience on the O1. Users can contribute too!
I'd like to give you'll a few tips and tricks :
Overclock: Anything from 729-768 would work fine and use kernel with Touchfix (franco.kernel08122011, ThunderVN, Roq kernel, PP kernel, DJNoXD's kernel)
Flash the adreno libs ported from SGS (I think)
Use Chainfire 3D along with the Qualcomm plugin to minize lag. (It works amazing, trust me). Note that it doesn't interfere with the adreno libs.
Are you playing a uber heavy game? Try Swapper and allocate 300MB on your SD Card. This step is a bit dangerous (although I haven't received any problems ever) and may reduce your SD card life.
Flash any/a few of scripts and tweaks.
Before playing any heavy game, reboot your phone. (Dunno why, but its very effective!)
You can download apps/games from the store using your PC using this extension for Google Chrome
