Sending videos - Hero, G2 Touch General

How do you send a video my MMS with an HTC Hero. Today, I tried to send a video by picture message and was told it was too large to MMS. Is there a setting on the HTC Hero to make sendable videos or is there an app for this? I am new to the Hero and Android.

Yes!
If you record with the camera, from the messages app.
"Attach --> Video" or something like that.
Think that should do the trick.

Great thanks for this!

No problem.

How do I use the inside camera to record MMS Videos

Hi,
Anyone know how can I use the camera (inside one, next to the screen) to record MMS Videos? I can only seem to use the outside one for MMS videos. For normal video/photos I can select either.
I want to record a clip of myself and it's hard to centre when I'm using the external one.
Any help would be appreciated!
(Using O2 Exec)
Hi
I have never tried to do video direct from the MMS soft. I always just record the video or photo then attach the saved video/photo to the new MMS message.
I just checked and as you i can not find a way to change camera if you try to import video direct from the camera into the MMS app.

MMS (picture messaging) HELP!!!!

I have t-mobile in los angeles ca with a HTC TOUCH HD. it took me along time to configure the mms setting, well long story short when someone sends me a MMS (picture message) it opens at 160x120 which is really small (3-7kb no more) i can send big pictures like 30-40+kb i just cant recieve them. ive tried to find setting to change this but i cant, ive been with tmobile and htc support with no help. ive used different phones from friends but no luck. what can this be???? so again basically they send me 23 or larger kb picture but my phone opens them at no more than 7kb, why is it chopping up so much how can i fix this???
Sounds like T-mobile just don't allow biger pictures.

thats what i thought, but i didnt have any problems with my previous phone (t-mobile dash/htc s630) i was able to recieve photos over 7kb. how's everyone else doing with picture messaging on there touch hd
is everyone else recieving normal sized picture messages
No proplem here, just send 1600x1200 image (80k) message for myself, shows exaxtly like the one I sended.
am having the same problem all my pictures are coming in Small..
this is happening to me to tiny pics coming in,but my limit from o2 is 300kb
after reading some things on the net it seems its an o2 issue but one im unlikely to get resolved from o2 as they dont support the hd,and cant find a solution

Why do images come up as videos on MMS?

Sometimes I get a picture in an MMS and it not displayed unless I click on the play button. Then it goes blank after a couple seconds. It's a picture, not a video. Does this happen to anyone else?
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA App
It's not coming up as a video it's coming up as a slideshow,
it has to do with the nature of how MMS does pictures. When you send just one picture it's like just one frame of a slideshow.

Emailing video clip

Anyone have any idea how to send a video clip off of this phone? It doesn't show up with MMS and even if I click to do an attachment in an email it only shows pictures and not the video.
Video is unfortunately not part of this version of the os when sending mms. in order to send a video try sending it as an e-mail or better yet make sure the upload to skydrive is checked in the settings -> picture and video settings. Thsi way you send the link to someone automaticlly from your skydrive public album.

stop slideshow mms?

Is there anyway to stop MMS coming in the form of slideshow? I can get one pic at a time right but any time ppl send two it becomes a slideshow.
This is the only anyoing thing for me about Android. The gs4 stock messaging app will display them as two pics not a slideshow.
