my point of view :
i have tryed alot roms so ill tell few words for best of them ...
pdaviet roms...they are fast, stabile, got nice enhansments like bether sound some nice programs( low support on this site and for their site i cant understand nothing on their lang) but so far they are nice for me...
and i have also tryed xplodes roms too they are stabile, fast and clean too (got bether support on this site) and i think ppl should chose what they want into their roms, its small sume of speed if u ask me...roms are near with speed and its little hard to chose which 1 is bether and faster...my great respect for xplode and dvha ...

Why do people bother whether it is genuine or fake? If the fake does exactly what the genuine ones do, then the question is moot. I think what we should really ask is what improvements over previous builds. If there are no changes/improvements, then it boils down to an academic exercise.

I think it is a fair question . Although, it means more for the developer, cause then they would want to know what has been changed from prev build, and go on from there.
For me however, as user, I dont really give a ****... I am using this rom, reason being, this is the latest rom posted by DVHA, and I have used his rom a few times (all were and is v good ). So it is a trusted source.
I also noticed that .net 3.5 here is built into the rom, so I can safe some precious rom space - all the other roms have .net 2.nand i think it is v fast, plus it has included in goodies like gsfinder, flightmode, task manager, PHM registry, and other useful stuff.
Safe some installation time for me .
Anyway, try it, and if you like it then use it. If you dont, then change back.

Improvement is always good if they dont mess around with build number.

And I agree with IMatrix, that for eg, if the real build for a rom is, say 1.23... and someone change and make improvement, they shouldnt have changed the build number to 1.3 or something like that....
But then again, maybe this is a genuine built that was shipped to asian countries only (or maybe not .. to be honest, I dont know myself, and cant be bothered finding out, ahahhaha).
As I said, if you try and like it, then use it. If not, then change back. I am just grateful that there are still developers out there care enuf still making improvements to our beloved old BA .

the 16MB_RAM version has ramdisk. Apparently it is slower than the version without it. I myself never had the need for ramdisk. For full ramdisk explanation, please search yourself . Maybe wiki.. i forgot...

Thanks for the explanations...sekali lagi ma kasih..

WiFi WPA does not work on this ROM for me (do not connect)... Tested on D-Link DI-624 router. WEP works ok. On xplode's ROM all work ok.
Anyone have this issue?

Thanks! I installed the rom and it isn't bad. So far (after a full day of use ), I have not had the need to SR. I am not a big fan of iContacts, I like PocketCM a lot more and I wish there was some way to remove it, but since it is built into the rom I doubt that it can be done... aw well, it is a good rom nevertheless...

WPA2 Issue
Indeed this ROM still doesn't support the WPA2 connection, no matter which router you use...
I've got 3 different patches which ussualy resolve the WPA2 issue on WM6.1 ROM's but none of those work on PDAViet's latest roms, I've tested on all of them, all the 701's and even on the 401's...
A pity, because they all look and feel nice besides this... So I'll stick with the XPlode ROM as well...
Although I would like one where the iPhone 'look' is kinda integrated so I don't have to spend 10mb's of cab's to have it look kinda nice...

However, I have bought my Viva from Syria, and it came with the 1.26.488.2 WWE ROM, dated 19/9/08.
The device is Arabic-enabled, with a built-in Arabic keyboard, but the UI is English.
I don't understand the difference between this ROM and the one you're posting about!
Do you think I'd benefit from upgrading my ROM? Because I don't want to go through all the hustle for nothing.

nice, i have the same ROM 1.26.488.2 WWE, but its not arabic enabled. if i recieve any text message in arabic comes out with square boxes. there is always a requirement.

HI - can i flash this straight onto my hd2? (Was an o2 but used the goldcard method to reflash with stock WWE 1.48 rom) - its brand new and i didnt wan to brick it just yet...!!

How do I change the background of all tabs (except today-tab) to the "standart"-background (like in the "older"-roms 1.43,1.48,1.61)?
Btw: Nice ROM

This new ROM is based on the latest 3.14 WWE ROM and is ready for daily use,
however perhaps some new issues could turn up. I didn't notice any bugs for the
past 3 days of testing but do let me know if you guys find any.
Alarm sound worked for me the last three days and got me out of bed in time for work.
Still this alarm bug is a common issue on most recent build from multiple chefs and you
should use a backup plan to make sure you wake up on time.
Don't go angry on me if it doesn't work as supposed, try doing a search on XDA or Google
will show this is not a "[email protected]" issue at all. Problem also shows in stock roms.

On the 12th of May 2010 i stopped releasing the [email protected] 2.13 series due to translation issues together
with some issues involved in the 576Mb patch. However i didn't stop working on it and now finally it looks
like i got it all together.
Since i got kinda stuck with the 1.72 series ( because off the issues with Sense 2017's incompatibility with
CoOkies Hometab ) i figured lets serve the guys something else.

It's not a secret that the latest 2.13 based rom with 576Mb patch enabled had some issues. I`m sure this one will too.
However i managed to get the translation issues ( as far as i know ) fixed. The bluetooth issues, as in Bluetooth Manager
issues are fixed.
Still remember this is some sort of test build to find out if this will be a solid base for future roms. So guys let me know!

For the latest released ROM's i went back to the 1.72 base. Since it's the latest officially released Dutch ROM and by using it i don't have to face to much translation issues. This ROM comes without 576Mb patch and i must say i don't miss it at all. Feel free to let me know what you think and post any bugs or comments.

Okay guys here goes nothing..................
Since i expect everyone to be waiting for a ROM based on the new 2.13 Ship ROM i've cooked a [email protected] version based on it.
As this base seem to be less smooth compared to the 2.10 Base this should be seen as a one timer for now.
Base from 2.13 Ship ROM
OS version 5.2.21903
Sense 2.5.20121412.1
Cookies Hometab 1.7.1
CHT Editor 1.7.1.2
And all the standard stuff applied
Hope you guys will enjoy it and will let me know your findings.

Updated CHT Editor to v1.7.1.2 ( Dutch language available )
Washed away some small issues and updated most packages
Added more speed tweaks and worked on the graphical interface

Been testing this one for a week now without any issues together with radio 2.10.50.26.
Great speed, stability and battery life.

Last rom has been downloaded over 125 times without that much response in this thread,

So i noticed today when i googled on my Leo for Leopard XDA Rom Dev, however i didn't notice it when i searched XDA forum yesterday
Can't do much about this one but will take the links down and rename it.
Figured it would be a nice name besides my Topaz "Cheetah" rom.
Will rename to LeopaT ( also nice besides my Topaz "TopaT" rom )

Please put 576MB patch in this Rom
really nice rom, like that is almost stock, could you please give this a try. really want a basic rom NLD 1.66 with the 576MB patch.
Here is a tip on how you can put the 576MB patch.
(Zou echt super zijn)
For the 576MB patch you need only to replace these folders from an 2.07 or 2.02 Stock-Rom:
Rom\XIP\OEMXIPKernel\nk.exe
OEM\OEMDrivers
OEM\OEMDriversHigh
Then you need to replace again with this folder
OEM\OEMDrivers\ddi.dll
with an older Base than 2.07/2.02 (1.66 recommended)
alvast bedankt.

I read a lot of chefs who removed the patch foor performance reasons?

Correct. It slows down the preformance a bit. Fastes rom now is just the 1.66 based roms. So just keep it stock.

@Patrick: I found a bug .... it is not possible to add the Exchange domain to the Activesync configuration ... this box is grayed out ....

Updated first post with changelog for LeopaT 1.2 Nld and issue is fixed

Updated first post "LeopaT 1.2a Nld" with 576Mb patch added
As requested i added the 576Mb patch to LeopaT 1.2a Nld.
So now you guys can make your choice and pick the one with or without the patch.

I was just amazed it did work with my Pioneer car stereo
Perhaps you can select the proper protocol settings?

Let's hope you can give me some plesure with this ROM, i've tried allot, and with allot i think i've had them all, the best one untill now i still think is the L26 ROMS but, due the hideous icons i don't want it on my phone, going to give this a try! - I'll let you know about my experience with this ROM!

i agree with this , i always install fingerkey too so toshikey is useless and native keyboard is almost the same as toshikey since 6.5.x

Me too, but I can not set it to be the default keyboard since sipchange does not work for me. Do u have any suggestions.
