Sms count allways 0 - Touch HD General

Hello again!
Today I've encountered strange problem,
I am using WisBarAdv Desktop 2.5c version, till now I had working new/unread sms counter on my desktop, unfortunately now it is showing 0 despite the true number of new messages.
I made a soft reset but it solved nothing, then I looked into registry in HKEY_CURRENT_USER/System/State/Messages, there I saw that even in registry the number of messages is 0.
I have no clue how to make it working properly, if anyone could help me I would be grateful!
Best Regards!
//EDIT
I found solution for this problem, it suppose that entnering higher value for WisBarAdv Desktop start delay solved the case.

HELP !!! SOS !!! Unable to Send Messages

Hi,
I went on the DKToday post in this forum to get to the DKToday plugin and there also saw a couple of registry hacks to enable SMS Notification always on and also to remove the SMS Bubble. I set the same in my registry (PHM Reg Edit).
But DK Today gave me a problem as I also had PPC Profiles & also JGUI MYPHONE on the today screen. Hence had to do a Hard-Reset.
Thankfully had a backup and restored my PPC from the backup. Before restoring from the Backup, I was able to send SMS and also receive SMS but after restoring, am unable to access Messaging. I keep getting a Popup with 997:146:10
Unable to decipher what this error is. The 3 Hacks I added on to my registry were these
Try to switch bt profile using registry entry
---------------------------------------------
[[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HTC\BTProfile]
"ON"=dword:00000001
SMS Notification Always On
--------------------------
[\HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Inbox\Settings]
SMSDeliveryNotify = Dword (0x000001)
To remove SMS Notification Bubble
---------------------------------
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Inbox\Settings]
Create New Dword Key value to 1 "SMSNoSentMsg"
All the 3 I have reset back to the other values but still getting the error. I really need to restore from this backup only as this is my latest & greatest. Also when I did this backup, I was getting SMS and sending easily and have never encountered this error.
HELP HELP PLEASE.....ALL HELP IS APPRECIATED
I dont know what kind of tweaks are they but the best thing to do is to hard reset. yeah i know it kinda crazy to install all over again, but for me i will hard reset it. Try another help from others maybe thay can help.
Yeah, a hard reset sounds like what you need.

SMS notification error

Hi.
I recently did a hard reset on my Qtek 9100.. After that, when I receive SMS from various persons (that are in my "Contacts"), the notification on the Today screen says "Unnamed" instead of the name of that contact.
If I open Messaging and read the SMS it presents the name correctly.
Does anyone have an idea to a solution. I don't want to do yet another hard reset, though it probably could be solved that way. I would like to know why and get it to work. It's just a dam*ed computer!
TIA

Windows Mobile SMS Problem

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this so move the topic if necessary.
A few weeks back I bought an X1(Branded Dutch T-Mobile Version) and I've been having problems with the receiving of SMS'. My Today screen indicates there are new messages, eg. SMS \ MMS: 1 unread. But when I check my messages there's nothing there. I tried to see if it may be a false positive, by having a friend send me a text message, but the number did increase, and the message box was still empty. I tried reseting the rom, which obviously killed the messages, but new messages are still not getting through.
Anybody else experiencing the same problem? Anybody know what is going on? How can I recover the (invisible) messags?
Thanks a bunch
that's weird. uh, really weird. it's either YOU have a bad rom/phone software so better have it checked OR your not looking in your SMS/MMS inbox but your outlook inbox instead.

i had the same prob, someone sent me a text and the phone froze, when i turned it on had that message. the only way i found to get rid of it was to delete the message coversation with the person.
i had the same problem, only a hard reset solves the problem. after the hardreset everythink worked fine. some other people at the german xperia board got the same problem.
I tried to hard-reset to no avail. Deleting previous conversations doesn't help. Even SMS' from unknown contacts stay hidden. When I try to export my messages using PIM Backup 2.8 It shows that I have 2 'Text Messages' folders in the export root. One with the hidden(unread) messages. And one with the visible ones. When I exported the messages and reimported them, they stayed hidden. When I wrote a program to parse the PIM Backup exported file. I could see that the hidden messages get properly exported.
Any ideas?
Hearing that the German based roms have troubles too, could it be a reg setting that is wrong, something with localization? I really hate that I have a Dutch rom.
i had this problem i simply hard reset it and it was gone...if this didnt work then try reflashing the orignal rom
I just ran into the same issue.
Funny is that I did hard reset on not flashed orginall Dutch T-mobile X1 which was working good. Well now it is not :/
Tip for others looking for a quick workaround: use uiggmo light panell to read them. The only way I found so far.
I am flashing mine today. (Before I will hand it over due to case issue).

Not sending SMS

When I used my Lolite in the beginning for sending SMS, I noticed that SMS stayed in my out-box and was only sent when I restarted the PDA. When I googled this problem, I found a similar question with a Touch Diamond. The proposed resolution was to change or make a register-key. I tried it and it worked for me too. So, for anyone with the same problem, this is the key:
In HKLM\Software\OEM\UMTS make a parameter with the name OpMode type DWORD with the value 1
After a reset it should work!

Problem with LED notification on new e-mail

On my Leo, the LED notification does not work when a new e-mail comes.
It seems to be a general problem on HD2, as there are a lot of posts and forums dealing with this problem.
For HTC, it's not a known problem (that's the answer they give when opening a ticket).
But it didn't find any CAB to solve this problem.
Does someone have a solution ?
Thank's for your help.

it's not a known problem because there is no option for LED notification for email. only for missed calls and unread sms and voicemail
Use PhoneAlarm. The developer's created a special workaround in the latest beta just to fix this (Yaaay Penguin!). http://www.pocketmax.net/smf/index.php?topic=7986.0
Isn't there an easier way to solve this problem ?
I thought it was just a problemn of registry settings.
Does someone found a solution for that ?

No. Only 3rd party software will fix this issue. There is no registry fix for it as it's a bug, not a setting.
The 3rd party apps do not work 100%. yes most of the time they do but sometimes the phone wont wake up to flash the led, sometimes you have to read the actual email to clear the led notification and sometimes the notification will clear on its own before you even open the email. Obviously HTC knew this and that is why they left it out. they didn't want to include an option with known bugs and no 100% fix. i returned my phone for this reason.
Try this(add a new key if absent):
HKCU\ControlPanel\Notifications\
A887D655A-239C-47a7-9304-0D347F580408
(Default)-->Messages: New E-mail arrived STRING VALUE
AvailableOptions-->15 DWORD
Durations-->5 DWORD
Options-->5 DWORD
Then set your preferences from Sound and Notifications
