TIPS:
For everyone who doesnt want to have the QuickGPS asking for downloading satellite information, go to programs -->Tools and then click on QuickGPS and uncheck "Download satellites when connected to a PC via ActiveSync" and click done. whenever you want to download new satellite, go to quickGPS and click download. this way, you will have the update done manually instead of asking you to download everytime you connect to ActiveSync...

hi leo,is there any chance u can cook a 1.78base rom m8 pls without spike icons in it you can put a cab so if anyone wants it they can install it ty

2.13 base is very stable, I've tried the 1.78 base but it wasn't that good.

Our priorities are stable and fast.
No sense using builds that can cause problems.
So, Leo used 2.13.

This week you gave us four new ROMs, and they all are OK!
But my big favorite is the Spiked COM2 ROM, I realy like this ROM. Especially the top bar and the bottum bar of the ToDay-screen I like more than from the Spiked COM5 ROM. Very well done! Compliments to you and to Spike!
Moreover: it's amazing, four ROMs in two days...

Battery life i have tested to be 2.5 days from 9am on day one. (Hourly twitter, facebook, weather updates and push exchange email. constant 3g data) with radio 2.10.50.19.

Known Bugs:
I suggest having a play with C00kie Home screen editor and the built in apps like advanced config and BSB config for those little things that you wish to have behave like you need them.

Beta 1.8 * Programs sorted, Arcswitch added for task management, visual tweaks, removed blue highlight mods + scrolling fix for smooth scroll and nice touch response again
Release Candidate 2 23566 build Updated comm manager, menu and messgage enhancements all from new Huashan ext's. nearly everything has been updated with these new packages. Only thing left from old leo ext's are social networks engine, facebook engine, camera and taskbar icon manager, manila is the same as before of course as manila 2.6 is not working.
Release Candidate 3 built on 23568 with Huashan packages. Pink bits on call screen, cannot send new email and cannot edit "my info" in sense.
Release Candidate 4, built on 23569 with Huashan packages.
Fixed pink spot issue, send new email issue and my info issue all resolved.

haha have you updated your radio yet? it seems to get a good HSDPA signal here and so far performs well, it's also the one that comes with 2.11 base.

Just like doing a rom, link in first post has info on all of it. just download, extract and run leocustomruu.exe.
I usually put mine into bootloader (vol down on power up) to do any updates but that's mainly around win 7 sometimes not connecting to activesync and my impatience to wait for it lol
I have uploaded a mirror to the new radio again in the first post. only thing missing is the task 29/hardspl stuff but you'll find it all in the link to flashing instructions.

yeah i tried a few but i just wasn't happy with the speed or feel. Once you cook you just can't stop lol
This is still a beta, since the 2.11 is still unknown, so far so good though. hopefully a few others are keen to test it out.

TIPS:
For everyone who doesnt want to have the QuickGPS asking for downloading satellite information, go to programs -->Tools and then click on QuickGPS and uncheck "Download satellites when connected to a PC via ActiveSync" and click done. whenever you want to download new satellite, go to quickGPS and click download. this way, you will have the update done manually instead of asking you to download everytime you connect to ActiveSync...

I have the Tmobile HTC HD2 with the 1024 flash size and 576 mb ram and all I am seeing for the total storage of ram is 210.23 - used is 30.98 - free is 179.26 - total program - 459.59 - used program - 166.10 - and free program is 293.49. So I hope that answers the above question about if it shows 1024 storage

This is a little odd. When I went to bed last night this rom was working great. I woke up and now it's stuck in a hard reset loop. I've tried reflashing with no change. I'm rolling back to Ultimate Power for the moment so I can go to work but I'll try again later.

That's indeed odd, I'm running the rom on my EU HD2 without any problem for a couple of days now.
Lets talk about it in beta team section soon as you have time.

Is there any chance to put back the E-reader tab? Is it possible to add another tab (I want to use facebook tab instead of twitter)?
I've tried this rom after the ultimate one. This one doesn't work together with MaxManila extension, the ultimate does.

Sorry friend but EReader tab development stopped atm by T-Mob so I don't like to use it.
I've included Freda which is a great EReader application.
The Facebook tab you can install yourself, I like to keep Twitter in as the Facebook tab is still under Development.
Great work by Meltwater btw.
Maxmanila I don't know, maybe it needs an update to the latest Manila from T-Mob 2.11 shipped rom.
I use Cookie's home tab.

Not sure what the issue was. I flashed back to Ultimate Power and then did a Flash back to GoldEdition 1.2 and all is well. If I have any more issues I'll post.

For everyone who doesnt want to have the QuickGPS asking for downloading satellite information, go to programs -->Tools and then click on QuickGPS and uncheck "Download satellites when connected to a PC via ActiveSync" and click done. whenever you want to download new satellite, go to quickGPS and click download. this way, you will have the update done manually instead of asking you to download everytime you connect to ActiveSync...

how can manila switch to landscape? with Your last ultimate v4 it was simply rotating the phone... and here?

Manila home isn't rotating in this rom as I used a different Manila version.
The album, document and music tabs do.

HTC Music Player
Any tips to speed up the HTC Music player? Seems really sluggish. All songs are on SD Card.
Other than that, very nice responsive rom! Thanks! Awesome artwork as well.

For HTC Music Player to load all your music fast and properly, songs needs to be put in folders with necessary ID3 tags. This can be tedious if your music collection was hashed from different sources with no order... Once you have cleaned up, it's gonna be a breeze!... it's a one time effort and a good practice to follow..
To get started, used the search option and find out threads where how-to is described...

Very good suggestion. Probably need to do this with my whole song portfolio.
Sorta figured it was something I was doing. I'll relegate myself to the search for a while. Didn't know if it was landscape oriented issue or not.

Theres the bootscreen from my previous ROM stuck on my phone...is there any way I can flash another bootscreen to get rid of it without having to flash my ROM over again???

few problems
best rom so far
but have a couple of problems
1. the phone hangs and no response at all when I change TODAY's background and/or theme.
2. Sometimes I get keyboard overlap.
3. when playing music with WMP or realplayer, there are pause once the screen automatically shuts down
Other than that perfeft and nice features. I'm using Spike's ver.

Please do not enable landscape on Home Screen and other tabs as the graphics do not render properly. I am looking for a solution to this problem, (none found so far).

In the GTX Themed version of Kaos ROM there is a default theme set (DarkNinja's White Theme), just restart your device and it will set it automatically, sorry for any inconvenience, i am currently working on fixing this issue.

Facebook Tab v1.5 - Please go into settings to authorise your account and in Facebook Api Settings menu change the authorisation method from internal to default browser & paste code other wise it won't allow you to authorise your account with facebook. I have passed the problem on to the devdeloper.

i wonder is it due to base 2.13 scrolling .dll. and it seems the bottom bar area is harder to register than other area of the screen

Your roms look very nice and I will try them for sure, but later on, I have already a few to try, you know whilw there are no new builds, chefs update, modify their roms and try some new stuff too, so for us flashjunkies, life is hard! The theme i'm using comes with the phone and is on most but not all ROMS its called "HTC Black"

what application was you using at the time the bottom bar took longer to register as i'm not having that problem its just the sensitivity

Sorry to tell you but this rom project is retired as Windows Mobile is dead and I recently moved to another device.

576 MB ram enabled
Manila Version: Manila Core v2.5.20181527.1 (CFC)
NET Compact Framework: 3.5.9085.00
Radio version: 2.15.50.14
Translated and ported 90 % applications from Chinees HTC Oboe 1.18 stock rom.
Other sources used are HTC Photon and HTC Rhodium stock roms and offcource Leo ;-)
Most Applications are supported by landscape inclusive the dialer.
The dialer is unique and you even won't find full rotation support on HD2 stock roms.
All HD2 stock roms the dialer lags on incoming call and rotate back to landscape automatic.
This is pretty anoying if you have navigation running in the car.
The dialer included in rom is patched and you can call and receive your calls perfect in landscape.
I like to give a special thanks to Cracing and Ultrashot and all other people HERE for the help on fixing the dialer.

If you use the roms we highly appriciate your feedback and thank you, it keeps us going.
Before you decide to report a bug, keep in mind that the more you tell about your configuration (think about software, software version, tweaks, radio etc)
the faster we are able to analyse and help you.
The roms contain the latest applications and drivers, before installing a application please check the developers website of the software you are using if no updates are available.
Installing a hotfix from HTC isn't necassary as we keep everything up to date, if a hotfix is needed we will tell you.
If you like to install applications you don't know it's better to do it one by one and test for a short period if the application doesn't create errors.
The rom comes with most features you need preïnstalled, right after flashing we recommend you to use the rom for a day or two and explore the features before you install any application.
This will give you a clear view about which applications are present and if everything is working as it should.
HSPL 3.03 doesn't support the 576 MB ram tweak enabled in rom, so please use the recommended HSPL SPL 2.08 if you want to benefit whole memory.

Atm the source that is used for the roms is >> RUU_Oboe_S_HTCCN_CHS_CT_1.18.1401.8_Radio_1.21.00. 1221_Ship thanks to my buddy Xmoo who shared this stock rom.
It contains latest availabe MS SYS 23148 and Manila Core 20212114_0 after dumping.
This source is original Chinees and manual translated by me into the other languages.
Other sources I use are coming from latest HD2 HTC 3.14 stock roms available in more languages.
Sys builds after 23148 like 23157, 23158, 23160, 23161 I can't find anywhere on the internet and I have my doubts if they are authentic.
If you know where I can find them please let me know by pm.
I will never use sources in my roms that aren't shared to play fair with all the great people in this community who share the fantastic apps, tools, bug fixes I use in my roms.

ROMFLASH INSTRUCTIONS:
Please remember that flashing a rom removes all data from memory and set your phone to 'factory' default.
Before you start you must make sure that you have a backup of your phone data like contacts/agenda/photos/bookmarks/ etc.

All the roms I've packed with 7zip , you need to install this program first on your pc in order to unpack the rom.
In the folder you unpacked are 2 files:
* CustomRUU.exe
* RUU_Signed_0409.nbh (depending on the language you choose for download)
Important: in order to flash the rom to your device you must use HSPL3 and flash SPL 2.08 HSPL first.
More info and download you can find > HERE < thanks to by Bepe and Cotulla from DarkForces Team @ XDA-Developers.
You can find earlier HSPL2 with more instructions how to flash HERE at XDA-Developers
After you flashed first 2.08 HSPL as suggested above you can place the device in bootloader.
To do this, switch off the device and press volume down button plus the call ignore hardware button at the same time.
You will see a four coloured screen and at the top it must say following:
SPL-2.08.HSPL

* If you don't see this info you did something wrong and you must go back to first step about HSPL described above and try again.
If you're sure this is ok you can connect your device to pc and run
CustomRUU.exe
Follow the instructions on screen.
When the flash is started don't touch the device and let it finish.
If you are a romflash aholic (flash many roms ) I suggest a hardreset one more time after flash is done.
Is the rom still not performing good and do you have ORD (obsessive rom flashing disorder)?
Then we recommend you to use Advanced ROM Update Utility by Barin for Leo HD2 HERE

i will say Thank You from the CHT Team side that we was able to help out and bring in things that helps to perform the CHT Suite for now and the future. After so many tests with this excelent Rom, i have learned a lot of cooking. Not all, because you are the Chef de la Platinum creám.
I will also say Thank You to your Team for this excelent work together. I hope we can do this once again.
CHT things: the Rom version with the RSS Reader on the Home Tab is the right one for CHT. Because we need this stuff for the newest widget what will be come in the next few days. This RSS Reader is fasdter then all the others i have tested the last few month, so let us hope that the widget will be a runner .

Believe me, waiting is worth it. The test ROM was great, performed super. Very fast, stable and operational. I fell in love with it from the very first test
@Leo and Beta Team Members, it was a pleassure and honour working with all of you on this outstanding ROMs. I really enjoyed beeing a member of the Team and would like to thank you all for the things you taught and showed me. It´s been very rewarding to see how this ROM has "evolved" from scratch - all the hard work and tweaking that went into it, and also how the "chef" (Leo) took into consideration all the reports and even sometimes our "silly" suggestions
For me, this has been a wonderfull example of the xda spirit and also the great people and their attitudes involved in the process. Hughe THUMBS UP for all of you...
This ROM is simply awesome - the "perfect" stock-like ROM, with a tremendous potetial for personalizing since it´s very reliable and so full of possibilities. Hi Ber,
it is not alone my work. The first honor goes to slabbi. I have only fixed the whole stuff for a better and faster working process (if/else/end).
And yes there will be tool shortly, to change the colors and possible also the graphics (day in month view) around the calendar tab. I have made my first tests, but with all this calling around skype, there was not enough time to have it ready together with the rom .
