Elegancia Rom Series come as a collaboration between Miri and me. I have skinned/customized Miri's rom for a more eye candy interface.

Elegancia has Miri’s ROM as a base, but it includes a lot of customizations, plenty of eye candy and many other goodies
• E-CHT (6.5 build) has the Start menu button at the top left corner.
This build uses the same System that came with your device when you got it.
• Ex-CHT (6.5.5/6.5.x build) is the latest Microsoft Build. It has the Start Menu Button at the bottom left corner.
This is the most prefered build as it is more "finger friendly" than 6.5 build

Elegancia ROM uses Tom's Autoinstall to implement user customization.
Create a folder on your SDCard named, "Autoinstall" (without the quotes), and place all your CABs in this folder. After flashing, your CABs will be autoinstalled.

Porting Android to HD2: link is HERE
For the girls & guys who would like to try Android with HD2, I have found a nice one, that works fine with Elegancia Roms.
The two following Android builds for HD2 runs like a charm with Elegancia Roms.
I wonder if there is even one bug the battery last a day, which is not bad for HD2 Android. And most important voice is clear, and those builds do not screw up the Windows Phone

FAQ:

Device is not responsive/hanging frequently follow these steps*:
Step #1:
1. Connect your device to PC in disk mode.
2. Delete the folders "Appdata", "MSMETADATA" & search for files named "HTCIndex.info" and delete them all.
3. Scan SD card with default tool in windows.
IF step 1 is not working out then continue to step#2,
Step #2 :
Backup the files in memory card & then try formatting the SD card in "FAT32" format with "DEFAULT ALLOCATION SIZE" only.
IF step#1 & Step#2 are not working out then continue to step#3,
Step #3:
1. Try MTTY and then flash the recommended OFFICIAL radio for TMOUS HD2.
2. Flash the custom (elegancia) ROM now.
3. Hardreset after flashing.
Note:
Always try to remove the memory card & SIM or atleast the memory card while flashing.
Insert the memory card after you customize your device.

UPDATE:
The current position is as follows: "As long as there is no payment required for a download, linking to other places for downloading software is allowed on XDA." To obtain a copy of the rom, this must be downloaded via HTCPedia. Registration may be required which I understand is free.
Based on the above, there are no issues with this thread. Therefore I have reopened it.
I know that all who posted in this thread posted with good intent and I thank you for that. What I will now do, with this clarification, is to remove all posts that are not ROM related so we can start off from a clean slate.
If you have any questions on the above, please pm me rather than take the thread off topic.

Great looking ROM. Seems pretty fast and there is this little pink rectangle on screen when you are on in a call. Really cosmetic issue right now.

Yes that little pink while we call comes with the fix on the dialpad.
The dialpad was overlapping the All People button, now it is not but we get this little pink while calling.
In case you want to remove the pink, see attached a cab that will remove the litlle pink but then the dialpad will overlap.

Tested .Truly an elegant ROM.

Landscape Issue in Opera
I have tested the rom and love the look...the only thing I can point out is when on opera the phone will not allow landscape (it goes landscape for a fraction of second). Any idea?

First Let me say, Everyone has different taste. This is why we have so many different ROM's to choose from. Most all of the ROM's here are good and I find it just comes done to personal preference. Some people like black others don't, some like ROM's ready to go out of the box, others don't and want to configure themselves etc etc.
This ROM is made with some changes from the stock ROM. It uses the Latest MS builds and a few customizations. With some of my personal start menu organization. I like a clean start Menu. I have made some tweaks for speed and stability. I find that our HD2 is already plenty fast for any user so there is no need to cut up and gut out our ROM's to gain some small amount of unnoticeable improvement. I also like to give users the choice in how they like to configure there ROM which is why I use Preset Installer. There will be Many programs you can install from Preset Installer instead of having them built in. I have added a few apps, and a few removed. You can load them from cabs found here on XDA or Through Preset Installer. Or let me know and I can provide it for you.

NEW Rom Online
Which ROM is right for me?
Standard: Comes with most all software and apps and is ready to go after flash.
Standard is also a Full version of HTC Sense With all Languages included.
Standard also is good for users who wish to apply themes and or add and remove manila mods etc.
Lite Version: Rom is a light base ROM that can be customized to anyone needs through Preset Installer. This ROM is also faster because all the apps loaded after flash benefit from the Extendir performance increase.
Many of the stock and custom apps have been removed for installation through Preset Installer.
Manila is less than half the size of the ship ROM. More than 3000 files are removed from the windows folder with this version.
Manila is cfc compressed, and all Lang files except WWE are removed.
Manila mods are uninstallable, if you uninstall a manila mod you will have to reinstall manila again from Preset Installer. (Not a big deal only 2 min)

How to install?:
Copy the Extendir folder found in download to the root of your storage card. Flash the ROM as usual, Soft Reset, then go to th Start Menu and select Preset Installer. When Preset Installer comes up you can click next and install the programs or utilities you want by checking the boxes for each program. You can Also choose from one of the Preset Configuration if available for that version. Then Click next and then install. NOTE: A box with a bold check will install automatically to Device, if it has a faded check this means you will be prompted for install location. This is needed for programs that require user intervention like FingerKeyboard Google Mapsetc. Don't let device go to sleep during install!!. Device will reboot after installation. You can remove any of the programs as needed from the Remove programs in System. I have made some new .cab files with shortcuts to my Start Menu folders structure. So if you try to use these cabs on another ROM it likely will not work. Read the install instructions inside the Extendir folder. WARNING do not copy or redistribute any of the cabs found in my Extendir Folder. I name them with LIA to distinguish them as being modified for my ROM. Some of these apps are proprietary and can cause trouble if posted somewhere else.

I take it a release version of Extendir 2 is on its way?
EDIT: Was installing the most recent version of you ROM the other night, with the lovely new DINIK icons. Had an idea for the regular version - most of the icons from the Start Menu are stored as .png files in \Windows. Can you create an \Extendir\Windows\Icons folder and have them all installed in there? Much like the Manila folder, it would tidy up the main Windows folder a bit, and would also be easier to check which icons you have available (I copied over all of DINIKs icons so I can fill in any missing ones I have).

It will not

First impressions :
(1) Smooth and Fast...seems stable
(2) Nokia font can be incorporated fully to cover Manila as well to give a complete look (like RomeOS by monx)
(3) I feel its in between stock and fully customized
I would suggest either keep it fully stock and include tweaks and hacks for performance (a Lite version if you may)
or fully customize it visually and performance (like a Ultimate version).

TIPS:
For everyone who doesnt want to have the QuickGPS asking for downloading satellite information, go to programs -->Tools and then click on QuickGPS and uncheck "Download satellites when connected to a PC via ActiveSync" and click done. whenever you want to download new satellite, go to quickGPS and click download. this way, you will have the update done manually instead of asking you to download everytime you connect to ActiveSync...

When it gets done downloading I will see and post a screenshot of the sd card and phone storage page
I have the Tmobile HTC HD2 with the 1024 flash size and 576 mb ram and all I am seeing for the total storage of ram is 210.23 - used is 30.98 - free is 179.26 - total program - 459.59 - used program - 166.10 - and free program is 293.49. So I hope that answers the above question about if it shows 1024 storage

This is a little odd. When I went to bed last night this rom was working great. I woke up and now it's stuck in a hard reset loop. I've tried reflashing with no change. I'm rolling back to Ultimate Power for the moment so I can go to work but I'll try again later.

That's indeed odd, I'm running the rom on my EU HD2 without any problem for a couple of days now.
Lets talk about it in beta team section soon as you have time.

Is there any chance to put back the E-reader tab? Is it possible to add another tab (I want to use facebook tab instead of twitter)?
I've tried this rom after the ultimate one. This one doesn't work together with MaxManila extension, the ultimate does.

Sorry friend but EReader tab development stopped atm by T-Mob so I don't like to use it.
I've included Freda which is a great EReader application.
The Facebook tab you can install yourself, I like to keep Twitter in as the Facebook tab is still under Development.
Great work by Meltwater btw.
Maxmanila I don't know, maybe it needs an update to the latest Manila from T-Mob 2.11 shipped rom.
I use Cookie's home tab.

Not sure what the issue was. I flashed back to Ultimate Power and then did a Flash back to GoldEdition 1.2 and all is well. If I have any more issues I'll post.
