Update changes SPL for 208 to 210 after this update u will not be able to load custom roms so be careful... have to wait for HSPL2_1024_RUN to come out with new hard 210 SPL to load custom roms

Thanks for that, I would need to load radio 2.09 as I found the 2.10 radio from this rom to be worse, looks like I will wait a while.
could some one please report back on the changes/fixes? is it worth it?
i read on the tmo site (tmonews.com) that the TmoUS HD2 rom update is supposed to fix the problem when the phone freezes when you get a text message.
if this is so, thaaaannkkkk goooddnneesss! i hate having to open the start menu then opening xdaShutdown to have to softreset my hd2!
i wouldnt count on it fixing all the texting problems. even custom roms have that issue when you use htc messaging. the only fix ive found for having lots of texts is turning off htc messaging entirely.
but if they fixed it then hell ya chefs need to add it

Everyone says it is always safer to flash an official rom between custom rom installs, but when I do, it changes my radio and ipl/spl to an undesirable version.
Is there an official nk.nbf file without the radio or ipl/spl available that I can use? I searched all over, even wizard wiki, but cant seem to find any.

I will upload the T-Mobile Official Rom without IPL/SPL/GSM shortly. I can even leave out the Official Splash screens if you like. Just let me know and it will be done.
EDIT:: Rom is uploading as we speak. Rom includes T-Mobile Official WM5 OS, HTC screen, Splash screen, Extended Rom.

This is the Official T-Mobile WM5 Rom exactly as it would come on a brand new T-Mobile MDA only this version has the IPL/SPL/GSM removed so that you do not have to re-flash the 3.08 IPL/SPL and your custom radio every time you upgrade.

I did this as much for me though as I did it for everyone else. When it comes to flashing new roms, I must say I am an addict and I like to have a clean base to start from before flashing a new rom and this is perfect because I don't have to reflash my IPL/SPL and GSM every time.
Hopefully someone will upload that to ftp so everyone can access it easily.

yes it can. but we dont know any of the consequences of fllashing it yet.
it could be timebombed,
it looks like theres multiple languages of the test rom appearing, so maybe it well become a 'ship' rom..

As it is known that the flash stops working after a certain percentage...

No problem waiting, it's confusing tho how some people with UK phones can flash and some cant, any idea how they differ?
There is really no need to start a new topic for every little detail ppl, a thread already exist where you must have downloaded the ROM, try to keep your questions there otherwise it ends up all over the place.

I would have loved to contribute if I hadn't already made ONE MILLION different registry tweaks on this stock build.
Although, I'm picking up a second HD2 later this week... if and when shipment comes in, so if by then you don't have the standardized system dump, I'll gladly provide it for you.

What tweaks did you make? If it's all legal tweaks, wouldn't be a problem tho...

Dumping the ROM will not effect your registry changes. You are just dumping raw data image that we can use to recreate the ROM. Which will benefit everyone.
Just need the OS, Radio can be added from the other sources...
I have two, but the one I opened isn't working. Haven't decided if I want to try the second one yet.
Update: Removing the SIM card has the phone working fine.
Update2: 2nd phone works perfectly fine. Going to try 2nd SIM in 1st phone.
Update3: Identified as damaged SIM socket. Fail on T-Mobile.

I tried to dump a stock rom, my wife's phone, but after more than 2 hours she wanted to use the phone. I'll start it again tonight. It appeared to be running still but I didn't expect it to take that long.

Got it when released, then they took it down... As for the dump, slow going. Reset twice, but hope to have it done in the morning. Files are done, modules almost done... Just taking a long, long, long time...

I've been running .0. The OS, Sense, and other major aspects of the ROM are *exactly* the same as .1.

Failed again in the S's in Modules... Rerunning,,, but this takes a long, long, long time
I have a .1 ROM on my phone. TMOUS etc. I'd like to make a dump of the ROM and the Radio. I have no idea how to start though.
I have a purely unaltered stock rom. I installed stuff here and there but I did a hard reset to restore it back to factory condition. I pm you, but please don't post someones' altered rom as stock. I like to know that I can restore my unit to purely stock. -thx

forget the htc site.go to rom development section,"leo official roms"thread, first post, first link, browse the folders.
you havea t-mobile branded phone so will only be able to use their roms unless you use hspl to unlock the phone to be used with other roms

I've been looking at that thread for a while now and i can't figure out which ROM to choose.

For some reason the releases go 142 166 143 by date, but the numbers are not acsending, so i'm not sure what to make of it.
Then there are the letters besides the dl links WWE NLD PTG, there are also multiple WWE ones for some reason...
please for the love of Jesus this is my last question, i can follow the guides after this point!

I was only being half serious.
In any case it's all done now, running 1.66, the improvement over t-mobile 1.42 is amazing, much more responsive, internet actually functions smoothly, files load faster, opera pinch zoom works way better and now actually loads full web pages rather than mobile versions.

It worked. I just installed it. I haven't noticed anything not work yet.

This is the official rom for the tmous hd2. The rom that was leaked early was still in the early
stages. If u install this version u get a new radio. The earlier build was 2.14, this one comes with 2.15 radio. From what i can tell this version is alot more stable faster than the one that was leaked earlier. The reason there are these updates is to address issues that users experience. So if u wanna give it a try id recommend it.
Why would there be dead links in the Start menu? This is an official carrier ROM update...and I can myself confirm again that this is the real deal.
I've tried radio 2.15 and went back to 2.14. Loss of signal was very often.

this has nothing to do with the ROM its with the tower within your area. try switching to EDGE instead of 3G and see if it updates for you.

updated to official 3.14 ROM
I just updated my HD2 to the official ROM 3.14, so far I have not seen any slow downs loaded all of my cabs and messages from back up and it just zings. Will report back if I found any bugs. Cheers!

I have yet to be able to find updates on the HTC website by scouting on there on my own.
Do they have a specific section for it because they don't even show the 2.13 update under the Tmo-HD2.
This is live on the TMO website now under wmupgrade.
I am still using stock rom (2.13) on my TMOUS HD2. I have not done hard-spl yet. Soon I'll like to do hard-SPL so that I can download custom ROMs/Radios.
Would it be possible to hard-spl even after updating my phone with the official 3.14 ROM? or should I hard-spl it first and then install this rom?
