HTC MEA has announce for Tattoo in Middle east, and I think it's now available in Dubai.
I'm wondering if you guys have the Middle east ROM or not?!
I want to port it to HTC Hero if it applicable.

Try nFinityGB v0.92 - Gingerbread 2.3.3 (CM7 based), I don't know if it's exactly what you want but the changelog says: "Arabic reshape patches"

I was looking over the internet and I know that some sites said that is gonna be available on october... But does anybody knows the real date??... Or if it's gonna be released after all???
I know that the sense is already installed for the Magics from Brazil, but I haven't read any official info about this being released from HTC to the world...
I know that there are already some hero roms (I've already tryied a couple) but they are a little buggy (issues with bluetooth, led's... etc)... So, any info =P???

AFAIK, there has been no official date yet but rest assured, we shall see it within October. For the preloaded Sense UI in Brazil's HTC Magic, did the handsets actually come out already?
I'd say HTC will be on track to provide the Sense UI update to Magic within October, they just need a little more time to sell the Hero, that's why there has been no official word yet lol.
I know for sure that it is Official that the HTC SENSE wont be released in Denmark...
Its really crappy that they wont release it everywhere...

Be sure ... If HTC will release native SENSE UI for MAgic It will be avaliable for all of us by our GREAT Android ROM chefs !

Oh and why is that? Did Denmark get the Google-branding version PVT32B? The way I see it is that only PVT32A HTC-branding version will get the official update.

No in Denmark we have the 32a devices with HTC brand... But the danish HTC support team have alraedy reported that HTC Sense wont be released to danish Magics officially....

I have Snap and Touch Pro2 and both are not suitable for the official european WM6.5 upgrade. Can't figure out why and support guys are not answering my e-mails for 4 days now. My carrier doesn't forbid anything, so it has to be HTC's problem. I'm in eastern europe.
I'll appreciate if you can upload the official european upgrades here.

I concur - just checked Europe and UK. We score "nil pwa", as they say in the Eurovision Song Contest. Apologies to non-Europeans, if you don't understand, google it!
Please tell me it fixed more than just the SMS issue...... i'm on the edge of this or a milestone and so far, the Milestone seems the less buggy!

The old 1.48 has been pulled from the danish HTC site... It might be a sign of better things to come

It won't upgrade the OS. They'd certainly not wrap up the "6.6" release (as they're now referring to it) by saying it fixes some SMS problems.
Expect a fanfare and ticker-tape parade when they up the OS.
Thai ROM
There is now ROM version 1.66 available for thai region. If anyone here has a thai region phone, could you please download the new ROM and upload it to HCTpedia repository for official ROMs. I want to try this ROM, but it can only be downloaded using a serial number from a thai region phone, and I don't have that.

I am sorry if this has already been mentioned, but what languages can you set in the Z's brought from the U.K. ?
I live in Denmark and would very much want a danish UI (the z is not coming to Denmark anytime soon).
Maybe some of you who get the phone tomorrow can be kind to rapport what languages are included.

Some time ago I have Desire Z ROM installed on my HD2 and Danish was on the list
I think you can select language on your first boot (looks like you can on Desire HD).. the thing you should consider, is the hardware keyboard. Remember that there will be a nordic version of the keyboard on the Desire Z, which you won't get if you order from the UK

I called HTC today and they told me the keyboard would not change fro Denmark/nordic.. ? (it sgould work like if i press "o" in a word it the t9 translate it to "ø")
Where have you heard about nordic keyboard?

I have not just heard about it, after googling desire z and nordisk, I also have a picture to prove it

I just suspect the Z wont be hitting Denmark anytime soon (and my old Palm Pre is dying / falling apart..) And they've just got Desire HD in stock...
No, not from Denmark.. but I'm from one of the other nordic countries
Not sure when it will arrive here either.. my order says nov 20th as an estimated date - but they said nov 15th for Desire HD and suddenly they started dispatching the orders last week
Hrm... on the Canadian one on first boot I had a list of languages but wasn't paying attention... once mine is charged I'll see if I can change to Danish.
