installed and its pretty ok
I say its pretty great, but I think its still a tad buggy. Best Rom compared to the others at the moment.
It has multitouch and its smooth as butter and seems to work system wide with things you'd basically expect it to work with)... that is really good.
Its much faster than you'd expect a 2.1 bin to be.
I can't install and use the voicesearch keyboard w/out deactivating all autocorrect features on the keyboard (voice search not preinstalled).
* it has preinstalled twidroid lite so when i go to install twidroid pro it refuses to let me at all and I can't uninstall the lite version.
* I keep losing my google voice and voice toggle icons from desktop (I have reinstalled several times to try and fix but it seems there is something wrong with the homescreen)
* nexus live wallpaper doesn't work... its just a white page. Will try DL it from market later. All other live wallpapers seem to work fine.
* homescreen slows down when you have several widgets on there (i have twidgit lite, cutewit, youtube, huff post, tunewiki, audiomanager, power) so yeah, it slows down a bit. Much less laggy than you'd expect it to be though.
* comes with the 5 homescreens
* acer apps included
* most menus seem smooth
* GOT A SPEED BOOST of 1mb boost (dl 3.3mb up 1.3mb)
* Everything seems to work very smoothly. This is a very fast version.
VERDICT:
this is the rom i'm going to be using until the cooks dish up something tasty with the new bin. I think its the best Rom available as of this post, despite some of the problems i've had. Its fast, quite stable, and has multitouch.

Can someone provide a download link. That will be appreciated. .
thanks

thank you very much my friend
but that seems to be the same BIN we had before.
it's the first leaked one Gen1
doesn't seem to be different.
but I'll try it probably

It's different:
it's newer (March2010),faster and it has MT in browser, gallery, maps and all apps that support it. And there are also some other news (like softkey's much better sensitivity)...

Oh sorry,
it is actually different . I got confused when i read "gen 1" in the name of the file but you guys Were right about that.
Finally they gave the front buttons some vibration feedback .. now it makes if easier to navigate around using those buttons

Hi, Can anyone who test this rom, say something about battery.
Is it last the same as with 1.6 ?
How is compared with 1.6?
I want to install a 2.1 rom, try others before, but not happy with battery, so go back to 1.6
Thanks
PD. Sorry for my english

This rom is very beta. Still needs a lot of work to be actually useful As the 1.6
But the only advantage you will get is the multitouch. Other than that, it's very laggy and slow

didn't you notice that sms app is very very very slow??

Yes it is. . But if you download advanced task manager from the market it will be a remarkably faster but you know its still not the best way to handle tasks but it will be surely better than the way it is now .
If you don't care much about the multitouch or any animation stuff i would recommend going back to 1.6 cause it just works the way it's supposed to

There is some general error with this rom and contacts.
First, it tryes to sync from sim even though you have setup it to not do, and when it has started to try sync with SIM (and failes) this error pops up in DDMS:

This makes the phone laggy and slow.
Dont know if the exception-handling makes the phone slow, or that there is something in the background that loops. But something is really wrong here.
However, this rom is still faster then any other rom, even when it is "lagging".
Much is due to that MinFree-settings are set INSANE default by Acer.
Lowered the values for better MultiTasking, so the phone doesnt kill apps when I start new apps.

Great,the hack grow up
But I've a trouble: when I use the Acer A1 Tool to flash, he "crashes" ( break indefinitly) to the "process: amss start". He write not connected: my phone shut down after a file transfert ( HX, a name like that), he vibrate and that's all.
For details, I've got a french phone, BIN 0.004.01, and rom.. Evil 1.9.
If any got an idea.. Thank's in advance

did any one notice that google maps is so messed up when used for navigation.
I don't know if it's only me or it's this BIN.
when I do turn by turn voice guided navigation, the whole navigation thingy goes backwards. which is funny

I had the same issue. It is because I had only the acer updater and not the drivers.
Just install Acer drivers, plug in the USB in Liquid and it should continue flashing.

I dunno... either no one noticed this problem or its just some phones with the problem. All my nav softwares are unusable b/c of this problem. Its the compass thats jacked up. I DLed a compass app and it turns the opposite direction.... north and south read correctly, but east and west are backwards. So if you turn clockwise, the compass turns counterclockwise. ERR, I mean... if your turning clockwise, so does the compass app... err.. well you know what I mean... its backwards!!!
This is an issue on all the 2.1 bins and roms that i've tried... which is like... all of them.
This is not a problem on 1.6

WM 6.1 problem - Slowdown after gameplay

I have an Alltel HTC Touch, and I have a problem with WM 6.1; everytime I close out a game, it slows down my entire phone (and sometimes freezes it if I load an app like Opera Mobile). I've been to PPCGeeks about this, and they helped me a lot, by helping me overclock the processor. My phone doesn't slow down too much anymore, but the slowdown is noticeable enough to still be a problem.
I've flashed to at least six different WM6.1 roms now, and each of them gave me the same issue.
Does anyone have any fixes for this? I would really appreciate the help!!
SIDE NOTE:
Also, my camera is very laggy indoors. It ran perfectly smooth before my transition to 6.1, and it remains laggy when I flash back to the stock WM 6.0. Its bearable right now, but if anyone knows how to get it running smoothly indoors again, I'd really appreciate it!
For starters, this is not an issue with the OS.
What game is it?
How many other apps are running?
How many processes are running?
What ROM are you using?
What is the Page Pool size?
Thanks for the quick reply!
Uh oh... that means the problem lies with my phone. I hope it's a problem that can be fixed...
Do you know if there's anything I can do to fix this then?

LOL!
I'm trying to help you, but I can't until you answer some of the questions.
It's like calling a mechanic and asking what's wrong with your car, it runs a bit odd, but that's all the info given.
Sorry about the double post. My info's below.
Maybe a little more information will help.
My phone first started doing this when I flashed to the new Alltel WM 6.1 rom. I followed the instructions, doing EXACTLY what the tutorial (from HTC's website) told me to. After the flash everything worked fine except for my camera and the games (slowdown issue).
I hope this helps.
WOW, I am SO sorry, I didn't even see those questions! I thought they were a part of your sig and didn't read it
1. It slows down with any game I run except for the ones that come with the rom (solitaire and bubble breaker). The games I've tried are:
Acky's XP Breakout
4pinball
Anything on Pocketnester
Snails Reloaded
Turbo Invaders
Shift
Realms
More...
2. No other processes are running. The game is the only one.
3. The roms that I've used are (all of these are for Alltel):
Conflipper's Vouge 6.1 ROM
Crystal v.4 6.1 ROM
Official 6.1 ROM
Dette M2D Diamond Edition v2.3 (Generic rom. This is the one I'm on currently).
4. How do I find the pagepool size again?
Again, sorry about that. I didn't see your questions
I officially give up!

You should have followed the cookers instructions, if you did not follow their instructions exactly, reflash by their way.
For the camera, it's sometimes laggy, especially with low memory.

I haven't even seen half of these games, but PocketNES can be buggy. I suggest using dotfred's Task Manager and viewing CPU usage after playing these games. One of them may have a memory leak causing this.
Also check the other running processes for memoery consumption.

Ususally the cooker posts this, but I see he didn't, the basics on this is it determines your available program memory at all times, especially on boot up, if you really want to know, soft reset, wait a min or two and check the avail program memory. Or use nue's system tool to view additional info.
Also, trying using Oxios Memory, it's free and will free up all avail program memory not being used.
You can try schap's Advanced Config Tool to speed up various parts of your device for improvement.
Alright, don't want to sound frustrated, but I just watched some Hell's Kitchen !
You are a genius! Thanks for the suggestions. I'm gonna try them now and see what happens, and I'll be back with my results!
And, no, you didn't sound frustrated, even though if you did, I couldn't blame you
Thanks again!
Okay, I'm back. Using the task manager you suggested, I found the problem.
The game that I tested (4Pinball) is still running after I closed it. It doesn't show up on the quick menu in the upper right corner of the today screen, but it DOES show up in that task manager.
So I go to close it, and it says it can't be closed properly, and it asks me if I want to kill it. The strange thing is, the choices are ok and cancel instead of yes and no. But anyway, I hit ok.
then another message pops up, but there's no text in it; there's just an X there. After I close that message by hitting ok, I see that 4Pinball remains in the task manager, and it's still there even after I hit refresh.
I installed it to the storage card. Would there be a better chance of it working if I install to device memory?
Sometimes I got the blank message to, don't worry about that, but you have to kill the process for it to work.
Try uninstalling it and running without it.
I keep getting the blank screen... I tried to install it on both the storage card and the device memory, but in either case it doesn't close the game. I'll keep tryin'.
Oh yeah, and I tried that oxios memory program, but it didn't work... it would start loading, but it would never come up.
I remember hearing about a program that freed up ram over at ppcgeeks's forum. I'm gonna see if I can track it down.

Essential fixes for the Xperia X1

Hi all!
I`m new to this excellent board, even though I`ve been lurking for years. Lots of really skilled people here, awesome.
Anyways, as I`m waiting for my new Xperia I wondered if someone could put together a list of "essential" xperia fixes/add-ons/software, i.e. stuff that should be done right out of the box sort to say?
Nothing I hate more than to use a toy like this for a few months only to then stumble across a fix for something I`ve annoyed myself half to death over.
If such a list already exists, please disregard this post.
N.B: I noticed the sticky list of fixes and tweaks above, just wondered which of these were essential for the basic functions/performance of the handset.
well basicly the X1 just works.
i found my original rom work realy stable but it was also kinda slow. tried some updates and fixes which work but none of them was essential.
flashed a new rom yesterday and i have to say .. wow its like 2 times faster now but also 4x more unstable and acts kinda strange from time to time.
so in short, nothing is needed, all can be done

what rom did u flash to?
Thanks for reply!
But 2x faster, thats kindof a big deal, isn`t it? Especially given that the main letdown of the Xperia (based on the reviews I`ve read) is that it suffers of the typical WM6-lag?
Are there no official OS or ROM-updates from SE (planned or released) that handles these issues? I presume that there`s much potential to unlock just by optimalizing these things?

Touch-IT 2.1
but the Opera is pretty messed up plus it hangs from time to time with no reason (simple task closing seems to be enough)
gonna try 2.2 tonight but i dont have much faith
@Doderlei
non official ROM. just keep in mind that if u flash those none official ones u usualy break something else. it is faster indeed, panel switching doesnt have any lag for me now but i dont use panels anyway. also my vodfone internet connection acts strange. IE works fine but the Opera wont open any site unless i set a proxy. my (hard)keyboard is missing the space key when using putty and so on.
Well I don't tweak my device since I rather don't do these things, try to have my device as clean as possible, and those tweaks are always a bit dangerous - IMO...
But for me ESSENTIAL was to install FlashLite 3.1 and YouTube. That added a lot of functionality.
Also, as well as there are still some email sending problems (WM generally), I installed WM email hotfix, and also ProfiMail mail application.
Also immediatley upgraded Google Maps to 2.3 (original od device: 2.1).

No offense but I don't know how you can claim 2x faster. I have tried all the ROMs here and none seems to feel 2x faster. Even if they were faster, the difference was minimal.
in my opinion if u really want manila kind of interface then only install new rom as manila, tf3d doesn't work in landscape. as Dom said keep it as clean as possible. certain other must do are-
- do all your experiments in begninig of installing or trying apps and then hard reset and clean install all apps which u think u required and working well.
- use cleaning tools like cleartemp req very less memory
- always have backup of device with all settings whenever u feel that your phone is in
best state.spritebackup is recommended.
- separately u may use pim backup utilty for fast backup of pim.
- apply file cache and font cache tweak and clsid tweak as discussed in Martin thread it will significantly imrove speed of x1

i had an official Vodafone germany rom before.
pressing the panel button took me like 2 seconds till something happend. switching a panel took like 3-8 seconds. opening opera took up to 10 seconds and opening webpages was realy slow.
i did some tweaks then (increasing caache, installed SD tuner, etc) and it turn to be a little faster. but still nothing impressive.
believe me if i say that the touch-IT ROM is like 2 times faster. hecks its 4 times faster
but that could be an all messed up Vodafone ROM. and we all know VF tends to mess up ROMs

they do? curses... i ordered mine from the UK, and it said it was vodafone-brand (even though it is unlocked to all networks and carriers). does that mean i oughta flash the ROM to something else ASAP?
vodafone usualy locks features, blocks services, adds own software and so on.
WLAN f.e. didnt work with messenger and a few other services. just so u have a reason to buy their messenger flatrates or web traffic. my n95 had the same problems and most of my other vodafone branded one too. its kinda easy to override those brandings in windows mobile, but its also anoying.

So...anything new in .16 ?
Is it worth installing...
The final should be ready pretty soon.
Works on QVGA. With the .14 version, I had trouble getting the app to run after running it once. (A soft reset was needed.) It runs perfectly for me now.

Same here but on WVGA (Touch HD). The only thing i don't know if it's ok or not is that the info that i see in my "home - news feed" or "wall profile" on my mobile phone it's only some of the entry's i can see on www.facebook.com home-news feed ...or even different ones....when using m.facebook.com it's like a "middle" situation as i can see more entry's than on my phone but not all that appears on the full site....it's kind of an inconsistent experience but i think that's another topic...
And in my case messages still don't work in this version.
Autosave user and password still don't work.
.16
.16 on WM6.1 over Samsung Omnia Hardware:
autosave pass works, but all drop down menus don't display. I can't also EXIT the program (probably cos EXIT is inside the MENU dropdown) and have to terminate the process to end it.
Seems to work perfect on CDMA QVGA HTC touch runing stock WM 6.0.. no issues I can see yet.. vary fast and nice interface.. but ill end up still just using tha browser mostly
so it's not worth updating yet?? my only question is: if now leaked only v 0.16, how far is the final / offical one?? should have been released in april..but we all know how MS and developers sometimes do I'm a bit disappointed, from 0.16 to 1.0 it's a long long way to go.. and the first release look promising but still far from complete or perfect.. how long are we supposed to wait???? °_°

Stupid status update comments still no available/working!!!
not working
I have installed the 0.16 ita but the application is closed after 4", has omnia wm 6.1.
I premise that I had installed the version Facebook_WM6.5_Ita of salvy.c.83 is worked perfectly.
apps seems to work on my sprint moto q9c, but the fonts are messed up. seems to be displaying wing dings or something similar. any ideas?
nrice, you need to reboot your phone.
and the program works and installs fine on my Motorola Q9C ... but it still seems to "cache" or "load" forever on the homescreen... I guess I just need to let it do its thing?
I really want this program to work.
thanks Adam. can read the fonts fine now; but you're right it does seem slow--hoping that it's caching or something.
Yeah it seems to load for a long time on the the Inbox screen as well. It's got the little spinning windows logo and it's just cranking along. I'm not even sure if it's doing anything, my status indicator says that EVDO is being used, so I can only assume it's slowly caching.
I am liking this update and from my experience of using it, I think that a few things have improved greatly.
When I used 0.14 it was slow on loading the tabs (home, profile, friends etc), it did not download any messages at all when I clicked the mail tab, it just kept on showing the loading icon, I left it for about half an hour once and it never loaded any messages. When I clicked the phonebook tab it loaded up the list of my friends with phone numbers but when I scrolled down the list it would judder or go back to the top of the list.
In 0.16 the tabs load up much quicker, they seem more responsive and smooth, it has downloaded just a small fraction of my mail, it has grabbed 25 messages but I have over 1000 in my inbox! But then again there could be a limit onto how many it downloads? I'm not sure. Nevertheless this is an improvement, the phonebook tab also now works and scrolls fine. The things that are still bad and need work is the time it takes to refresh things like news feed, status updates etc and the time it takes to load up photos and albums.
Overall I think it's a good improvement over the last version, as said above the only gripes I have with it are the loading times but I'm sure this will get ironed out in future versions. I don't think I will be using the app all the time just yet as I tend to use Facebook through Opera but I will be using it a bit more than 0.14 I think.
My phone is the Touch HD and thanks to the original poster for the upload!

A few bugs ive noticed... Any fixes?

Hello, i am running 1.66 rom on a generic htc hd2 with a t-mobile contract.
I cant update to the very latest rom because theyve only released it for branded phones!
The first bug ive comes across is the Facebook profile pictures in my favourites list sometimes switch around betweeen different people, so say joe's profile picture appears on bills name! happens every so often, and its very irritating. the only solution is to delete both contacts and re enter them into the phone!
The second is when im texting, at the start of the text, after i have done a few characters, sometimes it scrolls up to the last text and selects it, meaning i can still type, but i cant see what im typing, the keyboard covers everything im typing.
Incredibly irritating, i then have to minimize the keyboard, then maximize it aagain.
Also, a new occurance, when i switch on my phone it says launching htc sence and stays there for ages, when i click the cross, i get onto my phone, its as if sence had already loaded and just not removing the message.
The next thing is the wifi, is it meant to switch off affter a while? my battery went from 100 percent to 0 in about 5 hours! (not even joking) i just leaave it off now..
OOh and whilst im at it, one more thing. Can you sync your emails over data conneection? It always displays 'synchronisation error' when ever i try to sync over data connection, but on wifi it connects and downloads perfectly!
Any ideas on any of these issues? has anyone else experienced them?
thanks in advance

Flash a custom ROM, they are far superior.

I don't use the Facebook app as it is absolutely usless, but after a search I found this -'Go into all people then select your contact. Then select Edit Contact. Then press where the profile picture should be. A 'Set Contact Photo' option should pop up. Next to the Facebook profile it should have a downloading icon. Once that was done i selected Facebook Profile and all was working.'

There is an SMS update from the HTC website, but I believe this just addresses SMS failure to deliver issues. However, flashing a custom ROM with 235xx (WM 6.5.x) will definately eliminate this problem, as it uses a different SMS application. I'd assume flashing a custom 21907 (WM 6.5) would fix it too.

I get this from time to time on my Energy ROM, I don't know what causes it, it doesn't really bother me.

I am assuming you have BSB Tweaks installed? If so you have the 'Wifi Standby' option in Connections selected on. If you don't have it, download it and make sure it's disabled.

I've done a search using the forums search function, (hint hint) and found this it seems to have helped someone with this same problem with their HD2.

I get this regularly (and also having the keyboard go mental sometimes, switching character sets, entering characters when I'm trying to backspace etc). Seems worse when the phone's hot or when I'm outside and it's windy! But that might just be a coincidence.
I actually sent the phone back to HTC a month or two ago (their customer service was fantastic btw - picked up the phone on a Monday, I had it back by Friday all by courier).
There was a note in there saying they'd reconnected the touchscreen. Everything seemed okay for a while but it's doing it again (I've never dropped the phone or anything). Wonder if it's a loose connector or something.
Mine's unbranded, so I'm waiting for the next ROM update (currently 1.66). If that doesn't fix it I'll ask for a replacement phone (not a fixed one).

thanks for the help! You say i would benefit from flashing a custom rom 235xx, what type of rom is that? for instance you have energy rom etc. Sorry if im sounding like a noob, but i like the original layout of my hd2, and dont want too change it too much if possible, but i would like the performance increases that come with it. thanks

253xx puts the Start button at the bottom of the screen and makes menus and scroll bars bigger, it's called WM 6.5.x.
219xx is the stock look with the Start button at the top and no so finger friendly menu systems.
That's the basics of the differences between them both.
ok thanks i think ill installl standard reference energy rom 235xx one.
Do i need to change my radio before i flash? i have hspl installed.
The reason being is that i have changed the radio rom before and the signal was no where near as good as the stock radio rom. So i flashed back.

If you have an international HD2 you have to install a 2.xx.50.xx radio before you flash the Energy ROM. if you leave a 2.xx.51.xx radio on the device you'll brick it.
ok thanks, im gonna update the rom now. The rom i have currently is far superior, but i will flash anyway and make the compromise.
Thanks

Thank you for your feedback!
And also thank you the OP who posted about that SMS problem- which I kept reporting with no echoes.
1) Yeah "reconnected the touchscreen" my @ss. That problem was fixed as soon as I changed ROM.
2) "theres a patch for problem with SMS", my @ss, I installed it did not fix anything- Also, if you read the rom's releases notes everything is "fixing the sms". They forget to mention that they moved the "task manager" in rom 1.66 and changed a few other things-
3) i still had lot of bugs with that rom and device. Now some of them are removed and I'm using Artemis 22A- A few bugs but all minor so far- so I finally start to "enjo..."erm hard word to say after so many months of troubles.
4) also for the "quietly brilliant support" you mention, I would not be so happy if you really knows what happens there: it's likely they will swap your device with 2nd hand device as they discontinued the manufacture of new devices. Also they had shortage of 1 part and they took it from random devices...
My point is you also risk to get 2nd spares part or the whole 2nd hand part... not too nice as it does not means that the original fault/flaw is fixed, and its gambling until your warranty expires...

[Q] What do I miss if I install Android on Blackstone?

Dear friends,
Please let me know the cons and pros of Android on Blackstone (Touch HD).
- Camera
- Game
- Appz
- Smoothness
- Speed
- Bluetooth
- Wifi
...
it depends on build but you should try out the new FRX07 it has most (if not all) of the things working very well,i personally am using GBX0A which is alpha version but the way i compiled it somehow gave it enormous stability and reliability....you should try for yourself and see if it fits you...
One other larger setback with Android would be battery standby. It's quite poor, I think, at the moment. Efforts are being made for increasing standby but I don't think our Blac is targeted for that.

Can you describe what you mean by "the way I compiled it"?
There is much newer code in the GB tree than what is in the release for GBX0A, so if you built the system image yourself, that might explain it .
- Camera - Works on Blackstone. Current Kernels have support for camera.
- Game - We have okay resolution so games with WVGA are not problems for us but problem is that resolution is quite high for Adreno 130.. So quite lacking of performance
- Appz - They are very good.
- Smoothness - With Jit + My kernel its working good (Neocore 29.8 Due to 30 FPS cap.. but you cant except that every app will work smoothly..
- Speed Its okay even from Sd card.. But i told you my reason..
- Bluetooth Pairing/sending is working. But A2DP is not working
- Wifi Seems to work fine.. Sometimes lower speed but its okay..

it's the particular kernel and rootfs i used...i really have a daytime long battery and rock solid build...just don't remember which ones...maybe i could provide the img so you can check it

Well the kernel is easy to figure out - in Android, Settings -> About -> kernel version. If in WinMo, just look at the name of the modules file...
rootfs is a little harder. Date/timestamp can help, assuming you extracted it directly to your card. Otherwise... I guess md5, but you really think there's a particular kernel&rootfs that are just completely bulletproof? Sounds like snake oil to me .
For me the biggest problems for daily use are:
- Bluetooth: Calls and A2DP are not working. I have long hours on the car...
- Call speaker: it's not working.
- Music stuttering: improved on the FRX07, but not solved (there is a patch on an old kernel but it has not been updated).
- Random freezes and SODs.
I also miss some WM6.5 apps and some Manila 2.5 features
The pros list is long, so better to run from SD and have the best of both worlds. it is a pitty that we can't run both at the same time...
It's a pity that we can run both at the same time...?
I'm all for NAND, but until Android is stable, I think it's great that we can run both at the same time. That way if there's something you just have to have that WinMo provides, you can just boot back to it...

i know how to check the current kernel but the thing is that old one did something when i first ran haret with it...although i'm not sure if rootfs leaves any trace of previous commits,so it may have nothing to do with rootfs
Thank you dear friends.
I will try FRX07.

Don't tell people to go to another site, that's childish. If you have a problem with me, then ignore me.

I have a question. I installes FRX07 on my blackstone and everything seems to work oké, but the sound. I don't seem to be able to get any sound out of the device, no ringtone (with incoming calls), no sounds with music, no sounds with video etc. Does anyone have any idea?

Hrm, I have heard of this issue before. Unfortunately I don't remember a specific resolution.
I would try to reboot, see if that changes anything. Also, check the volume - make sure it's turned up (there's several different volume controls, check Settings -> Sound).
Assuming those simple things don't solve it, you might want to try the 'grabbing at straws' method. First, I would simply delete the data.img and let it create a new one on boot. Let the phone sit after you see the lock screen for a few minutes. Then try to use it, try to preview a ringtone. Still failing? Format the SD card with the HP Tool (full format, FAT32) and I would start over completely with the directions in FRX07.1 thread.
If it's still failing, try another SD card. Rinse & repeat. Still failing!?!? Well, I'll probably have to send some logs to the developers, because I don't know what else could be done to triage. Something else must be awry. Pull system and kernel logs with the app GetLogs - in AndroidApps\Other.
Not much...
Hey man,
You won't really miss much (if anything) switching to android.
- Camera = ok but better in winmo
- Game = some work perfectly, some are laggy and others plain old just won't work
- Appz = ditto above
- Smoothness = depends on how much you want to fidddle with different configurations
- Speed = ditto above but also varys from build to build
- Bluetooth = haven't tested..
- Wifi = works well
Running Android off the sdcard isn't really isnt all that bad apart from the fact that sometimes though it can be a bit fiddly getting everything to work together for a smooth experience builds, kernels, gapps, resizing partititions.... ect but once thats all over i think it beats winmo
and plus if your a fiddly guy (i dont know why you would be here if you wernt ) then you will enjoy working it all out
