First thanks for the great update. It works very much better on my device and I can use it now.
But I think the new slide actions don't work. I tried to use the brightness plugin(that it doesn't work on my device) and I assigned to down-left, but I cannot make it work. I tried with other plugins and the visual enabled but it seems that doesn't work(or I do something wrong). Same actions work if I assign them to slide up, left, right or down. Any help for that will be appreciate.
And last I made a greek translation for 2.7 version and I can update to this version too, but I need the recourse files(hope that doesn't need to do from the begining again)

eFrost, just wanted to say first off, great product but will you ever change FTouchSL to a time-based product instead of locking out additional gestures until you buy it? That way more people be reassured that it will work completely (by trying out all of features) on their phone. It might increase your sales also. Just my opinion though. Thanks for all previous works on XDA-Dev!

Awww, I'm so disappointed right now . I just purchased 2.7 at full price without the 15% XDA members discount...and I've been a member on here for a long time :[ And I'll probably have to pay more for 3.0 too right? Sigh :[ Now I remember why I used to use pirated software before :[
Also I'm having trouble getting a new license key for 2.8 off your website, says 'Internal error, please try later'...so I'll try later.

You need to visit www.ftouchsl.com to get the latest version (under "Get FTouchSL" or "Download").
You need to generate a new userkey for v.2.80 which you can do so at the "Client Area". You need the existing Device ID (found in the "About" page of FTouchSL Configuration) and the email you used for registeration to login.
Select "Userkey for v.2.8" (or something like that) and a new dat file will be emailed to you.

I have upgraded to 2.8 but now find that active corners only work on the left hand side of my device. In 2.7 all 4 corners work. I have upgraded my user key to 2.8 also. Is this already being looked into as it seems a few others are having problems with active corners.
Edit:My bad I hadn't soft reset my device so was infact using the trial version! Having now soft reset all active corners are working fine.

Help no active corner or gesta hermes device.
hi im using the new 2.8 on a trial i was going to buy this app but all active corners dont work but the top left works and all gestas dont work im using a hermes300 with crc13.0 normal wm6.1 i know it isent the windows thats the problem becous the last version 2.7 works fine can any body shed some light i now the triel version removes some things but not all plz help!!!!.

I have an xv6800 and version 2.5 seemed to work ok. I recently updated my rom with Verizon's MR1 update (WM 6.1) and decided to try out version 2.8. Now I am having a terrible time getting it to get it to consitantly scroll and most of the time just selects the text as I drag my finger (testing within PIE). I have installed it twice resetting after each install/uninstall with no luck (and yes I did enable it in setup).
Not sure if it is the ROM update or version 2.8 causing my problems. If I could locate version 2.5 I would install it to see if it still works. Any ideas what the problem might be?

is there any way to disable scrolling on the today screen? Some plugins like ultimatelaunch or touchflo2d don't seem to scroll right. You have to delay your press before you can begin scrolling.

M2D Worth it Or Not!

Ok so I have installed M2D from the beginning and got it working....kind of.... I have a lot of questions about it but I love how fast it works. But everytime I close a program and go back to my home screen it says "TOUCH HERE TO LAUNCH TOUCHFLO". With having to wait for this to load every time I close something I don't think it is worth installing anymore. If anyone can tell me how to have it loaded from when I accept it the Today menu instead of having to keep loading it. THis is a major deal breaker. Does anyone else have any feedback on M2D?

I had the same problem. I uninstalled it now.

sometimes it happens with me to, but maybe it closes automaticly when you run out of RAM? so you have to free up ram by closing other programs?

That happened to me until I installed Update 13. Now it only does that when the phone is booting up. After that any program I close brings me to the Today Screen automatically without giving me the Loading Touchflo prompt.

I followed the instructions and it works wonderfully me, I have no problem with m2d, is perfect in my sprint touch

Can you guys help me find this?

may be because of still developement is going on some glitches here and there. once opal is officially released it may solve all the problems.. we hope so.. as of now i have uninstalled it..

I am waiting for someone to hack the heck out of it to make it MUCH smaller, and more flexible (e.g., use other apps that default HTC ones).
But it sure is slick!

I'm not sure if I misunderstood something with the early M2D versions, but is it (still) true, that installing M2D will disable every other today plugin? I have phoneAlarm running and wouldn't like to have to scrap that.

Amazing progress for WM
Hey, I installed everything that was in those instruction folders made few resets and turn off the cube. And now everything works perfectly including longer battery charge and much much faster phone performance... I am using Sprint HTC Touch

Does anybody know of why this won't work on non HTC devices? I tried installing it on my Samsung i760. It installed no prob, but when loading, it keeps saying "TOUCH HERE TO LAUNCH TOUFLO" and nothing.
Its probably something to do with the drivers Im guessing.
Any ideas? it looks like an awesome interface and it would great to see this running on any WM6.1 device.

Facebook panel updated

Just a note to all X1 owners that the Facebook panel has a bugfix update which is now available in the "More panels" link in Panel Settings. It's much, much faster now.

Yes, I confirm the filename for the facebook download now says "updated" at the end.

does it just update the current panel when installed? I downloaded it and installed it but there isnt another FB panel.
However, my new or old fb panel doesnt seem that much quicker :s
EDIT: Panel defo loads stuff quicker. Just the content it downloads is still slow...

It replaces the old one. So you won't see two FB panels there.

That is a lot faster!

The cab is the same for all regions so you can get it off the UK site if it's not on the US one.

during installation i was promted that the old version was going to be uninstalled and i clicked OK, but then the new version refused to install. either on memory card or internal memory. when i tried to reinstall the old version i got the same error message, so now i am without. i do not use it much (i mainly have it so the panel space is not empty), but the thing annoys me, specially because i know this can probably happen with any app. where and what should i delete.

Actually, even with the updated .cab i dont notice anything o_o

Downloaded it and is in use on my X1a. A definite improvement over the first version!

SE provides support? Since when?!

I've installed the update and seems working better. no freezes when chaning panels. i've used the sktool to optimize the graphics performance on my x1. that might be helping too.
feeling much better with my x1 now.

ok, when I downloaded it from the x1, I download the older version.
manually going to se site I could download the updated cab, works better, but not a big diference.

Thanks for that. I tried both via 'more panels and via the website and there was no sign of the updated version.
I'm finding that the panel no longer crashes or hangs and transition time from pressing the panels button to getting the main panels screen from the facebook panel is MUCH faster

SPB Mobile Shell released

It seems this has now been officially released. The build is 6411. I tried but I can't find any differences between this and the leaked build.....but then again it was working fine for me with no issues.
Has anyone else seen any improvements?

I found the different is... when I install this new version on my x1. The 3D accelerator option disappear.

Well, for starters....they let you download a CAB file from their site ;-)

funny i ordered it but didnt have the option to download a cab file. is the link you gave to the official trial version?

I think it's gone completely....that either means it is no longer hardware accelerated or it's autodetect as not ALL devices will support it.

in my opinion, MobileShell 3 is a flop... too many defect.

Not too many bugs or defect, to less functions!!!

i'm not english

the only differences i have found is that the x button now works without it freezing the handset and that its a bit quicker and smoother. but have not found anything else which is a shame as i was expecting more from the offical release compared to the beta (what now seems like a near final release with one or 2 bugs to iron out).

I will try the new version and hope it will fix my Facebook via Wifi and X Button freeze bug. But like I understood Ganondolf the x button works fine what is absolutely an improvement.

mine fires up when i hit the today screen panel. kind of convenient for me.

ok so my first imptrssion: its awesome! has the look of cupcake (sorta) cool widgets and super slick interface.. glad the panel button wrks again
did have a few probles with the shell, seemed rather slugish if u wanted to switch back to today or exit the shell and restart it, seemed to take a while. also... anyone else notice if u added any widget regaurding the camera it did nothing.. wouldnt open at all im using R3a camera tho.... couldnt change icons at all... which is rather annoying considering the features pocket plus 4 gives u for adding/changing icons and their names..... i uninstalled due to the speed of the shell and the inconvience of the icons and widgets ..... i hope they make sum tweaks .... such a beautiful shelll. and very finger friendly
ok. P.S. and... does anyone know if you can add today plugins like widgets? this would be awesome too add google search as a widget... couldn't figure out how... thus why i reverted back to just plain old pocket plus...
just a few tweaks and it'd be perfect!!!!

yea...tried it for about a day, and i think i am going to uninstall it now. It amazed me at first, but i think the old combination of pocket plus and today plugin already does the job for me anyway...
the facebook integration here feels pretty useless too....

i have a small problem with this one.
Since i have installed spb3 , when i make a call, it automatically opens tomtom.
It is very annoying.
Anybody got the same problem?

It seems that I can't add any programs of my own choice in the predetermined categories of the launcher (Internet, Tools, etc.) or add my own category. Or am I missing something? This is what made Mobile Sheel 2.x interesting and customizable. If this option really is gone I think it's a weird choice.

All these changes can still be made. Adding/Deleting from the default menus needs a registry key added per folder. Subfolders can only be created in the registry at the moment. I don't really use this much but I imagine (so I don't know for sure!) that the GUI will have this functionality added in future releases.

But the old version had this option as a regular function (the menu button in tab Advanced)! It seems weird that in a new version one is forced to revert to editing the registry.

Spb Mobile Shell 3
Works fine on my X1, apart from multimeadia. None of the camera links launch the camera application. Anyone else found this problem

this rom seems reall fast!, not sure its too stable cuz i just got 2 lockups with the screen not respondin and the hw keys workin. but appart from that, everything else seems to be workin fine thus far thanks!
and btw, the core player isnt workin, so i'll just install the one i hav
manila froze when i was browsing thru the weather animations

The Core Player is working fine for me.

ops, coreplayer should not be in there, gotta recook and up again. (coreplayer needs edit in settings to work though, set video output to GDI)
Use radio 2.06 with this rom, that will give best results
I have used this rom heavily past few days, and had no lockups whatsoever.
The build is released with ce os 5.2.23515 (build 23518.5.5.0) check this in settings/system/About I know that in (manila)settings/about phone/software info, it say 23515. This is just the way this build was leaked out, and it really dont matter. The OS is 23518 as I said

try a hard reset if freezing continues. Did you flash the 2.06 radio rom?
see my answer abouve this one for the coreplayer. (this I should have noticed, its not supposed to be in the rom, due to license)

Great release itje.
The ROM feels smooth and stable. But not as fast, I'm talking specific to scrolling in cntacts, etc.
The only small consmetic issue I see is, While in lock screen, The Time that shows up... The digits for the seconds are cut off on the top. Really strange though....
This is a keeper for me until something better comes up

Hm, weird, scrolling in contacts is very fast for me.
in lockscreen I have no issues, (besides that calendar icons that shows up in theese builds) here is mine right now:

I should have specified. I use a cab where the Silde to lock comes to the bottom of the screen and the Time goes on top of the screen.
Below is the screen shot, Look at the #2, you would notice better. Again, probably to do with the CAB, but I did not see this in anyother ROM.

ah, ok ..please dont report bugs if mods are installed..as in thsi cause. If you do, please always write what mods is used, cause its timeconsuming to look for bugs reported in my rom that comes from mods.
Besides that, what builds have you used it on before? have you tested the mod on 23518 before? or on roms based on 2.02 leo rom?
