Then i have to ask again a net dumb question..
What app should I use so that i could flash my X2? I'm a bit puzzled which ROM is the so "official" English ROM? In the forums there are several threads that claim to have links to "Official" english roms, for example this thread: "[X2] Official ROMs + extracting manual", "NEW ORIGINAL X1 and X2 ROMS update 3.2.2010" etc. (sorry for not posting links: as a fresh member to the list, i can't post any links yet!)
These are X2 ROMs for the X1. As far as I know there is no HardSPL yet for X2. That means there won't be a ROM you could flash except those that have been officialy provided by manufacturer (provider). Don't try anything for X1 on your X2...You might brick it that way : (

Sorry for bothering people here, i have got a Acer F1 (s200) i m just soo bored using the interface and i started to search on the internet for themes etc.., but to my notice. u people are so active in this grp amused me.... hats off tooo all active participants here. i m a newbie here, but i m willing to learn... can any one please give me some right pointers on how i flash the roms that you people have created, also can any advice is it dangerous on my fone to use cooked roms. i have taken a complete SPBackup anyways,also, i have downloaded a local copy of the acer rom for safety. can any of u please help me on it... any links/urls/pointers will be greatly appreciated. thanks

You need to start reading the threads and using the search in this forum.
You should be able to find this in 1 minute:

If you read the thread you will find that:
1. you download his tools from one of the earlier versions of his rom.
2. Just paste the "extrom.bin" & "flash.bin" from the new rom download and flash.

But, could the size change of these two bin files be the matter of flashing process?
Because my S200 becomes a real brick after flashing, could not be able to enter bootloader mode again, even fail to charge up the battery, then I have to send it back to Acer
Moreover, could S200 flash ROM without PC?

Im sure people are working on it, but none has succeeded so far as to my knowledge.
Thanks!! Its great to have alternatives roms =) i dont like so much the Original ROM.
erm.. it's 100% percent possible, almost every1 did it, go to google and search for the roms. u need to install xrecover and root explorer 1st

Take look after Ginger 2.3.5, download move to SD card, make sure you have xRecovery installed as well and proceed, but easy for u is to use on YouTube on your computer few movies about install new room ...good luck!

Install the PC Companion, as it also installs all the drivers you need.
And: don´t plug the phone and click root, just click the button without having your X8 connected, then wait until it says "waiting for device" and then plug it.

I tried to restore my sony xperia m dual c2005. But it didn't go well because I removed the battery when the xperia flames got stucked. Then I installed "twrp" in my phone using my computer. When I pressed power off from twrp It showed a message "NO OS INSTALLED". I got stunned. Can anybody please tell me any idea to resolve my issue? Do I need to install any new OS in my phone? How can I do it? Please suggest me any video tutorial if possible.. Please help me....

hello look what comes to mind is to install through the flashtool do a clean install and may your problem is solved greetings you need flashtool the last version
