Superphone - Nexus One General

So Googles new designation of the Nexus One is "Superphone" Who smells a new way for carriers to charge more a month soon? "No Sorry sir your new Superphone wont work with that Smartphone package you need the 50$ Data plan it has an extra 5GB /month!"?

i dont think so

lol sounds like somethin at&t would do... not our beloved t-mobile
i doubt they will charge more, maybe tho...

hahaha. I agree with slater87. it does sounds like another way for att or even verizon to nickel and dime their customers. but then again tmo did try to charge us for paper billing if we didn't go paperless. im sure if we are all under some data plan then they can't charge us more for it. i'm on the old android data plan with 400 txt for 25. i think new customers need to pay $30 for data

i wouldnt put that past att for one second....

Stop Complaining about the EVO's pricing

I am extremely excited for friday to come around so I can get the EVO, that being said I have been on here alot today, and have watched alot of youtube videos.
But all of the people on here complaining about the $10 extra charge being a "deal breaker for them" is hands down the most stupid thing I have ever heard.
People the $10 extra charge is for 4G/Unlimited 3G.
This phone is like the iPhone and allows you to use ALOT of data. I don't understand how people see a phone with a 4.3 inch screen, 1ghz processor, 4G, and a list of other features and will willingly pay $200 for it, but then $10 extra month is unquestionable.
Look at what you are getting from Sprint. Sprint is IMO the best company, their prices are dirt cheap, and they truly give you everything you want.
Look at the pricing for the EVO
EVO
$79.99 per month
You get
unlimited mobile to mobile
unlimited texting
unlimited data
free calls after 7 P.M.
free turn by turn navigation from sprint
450 minutes
For $79.99
Now
the iPhone on AT&T is still $10 more expensive every month, and now Verizon and AT&T are making people get a data plan on certain phones that are not considered "smart phones"
I have a problem with paying an extra $10 per month. I already pay them $160 per month (about) for my family "unlimited" plan. 4G isn't even in my state! I planned on buying the phone out of contract... they are not subsidizing my phone in any way.
You can say "well you should be thankful it's not xxxx amount because that's what yyyyyy carrier charges you". Yeah well I'm not with yyyyyy carrier I'm with Sprint. If Sprint is going to nickel and dime me up to yyyyy's price I'll just switch because it pisses me off (been with sprint about 9 years).
If I keep my Touch Pro 2 I don't have to pay this surcharge.... if I buy this new phone that they want people to buy it will cost me an extra $120 per year for the same service i'm already getting. Most I've burned through is about 10 GB's per month under my current "unlimited" plan and never been charged extra.
Make sense to you? Not to me.
$10 more for AT&T??
Way more...
- First off, the iPhone 3GS is $299 with 2 year contract (you CANNOT get upgrade pricing after 12 months like we do on Sprint.)
- Secondly, when comparing nearly identical offerings on Sprint vs AT&T, I just got $185/mo, NOT including taxes.
That's more than double. Just select iPhone and basically all the highest options (other than highest voice,) and that's what you already get on Sprint.

buh-bye. Good luck paying $180 on any other carrier, for what we get for $80.
I did not say one word about either the Iphone or AT&T.
My point is this.... I can keep my current phone (hd 2 nice but I'm sick of winmo) and not pay the $10/month surcharge. So when I buy a new phone out of contract I am paying Sprint an extra 120/year FOR NOTHING. THEY ARE DOING NOTHING MORE FOR ME NEXT MONTH THEN THEY ARE DOING FOR ME TODAY YET I AM PAYING THEM MORE.
Don't get me wrong... phone is awesome and I want it, but this 10/month thing pisses me off. It's the principal of it not the amount.

The 3GS 16gb model is $199, the Evo only comes with 8gb
450 minutes are $39.99
Unlimited texting is $20.00
Data is $30
that is a total of $90, what other charges were you adding on lol, I see your point tho sprint is cheaper

You are wrong!!
List me all of the features you have on your plan, (how many lines, what phones, and what plans you have)
And I guarentee it will be cheaper on Sprint. Than on AT&T and verizon or tmobile.
You will consider leaving sprint after 9 years and paying an ETF, but actually figuring out the costs and features you get on sprint v. the other carriers is unquestionable, correct?
Please list your features, untill you do that and show everyone how the other carriers are cheaper, you don't have a fair point.

The only way to compare is to have unlimited ANY MOBILE calling... AT&T doesn't have this option, so you'd have to put on unlimited calling.
You also need to add corporate messaging/etc, because Sprint has all that included. Yes, not everyone needs that, but for those who do, it adds up.
Also, you must add unlimited route navigation.
I think you get the idea. It's hard to do a pure apples-to-apples comparison, but even when you get close, it's drastically more expensive on AT&T.

$10 a month. Putting that into perspective, that's one time out in a Thai restaurant. IMHO I can live without thai food for a day and just put those $10 toward Evo which I will use EVERY DAY of the month... can't complain here
Geez... again I don't think you see my point. Let me try to rephrase a little bit.
If this $10 surcharge was across every single data-plan regardless of phone I would not be complaining, I would take my lumps and deal with it.
This $10 is for owners of the HTC Evo 4g only. That is my problem.
Example:
So if you lived in my area where there's no 4g, and had an EVO 4g your bill would be $10 more than mine with a Touch Pro 2 even though we're both on the same Simply Everything Plan using the same EVDO/3g network. (pretend I only have one line)

Hey Tadda why don't you go to your facebook page and cry. Don't buy the F****N phone and stay the **LL off this board.
!
the 10$ extra isnt for 4G..
Sprint looks at it like this, You just bought a bad ass phone, and your gonna wanna see what it can do. so your gonna start using WAY MORE DATA now.. 10$ for unlimited data.. or 30 from AT&T .. your choice..
And if you wanna see the price difference go to att.com and look at the prices. Stop arguing like a bunch of girls.
Are we still on this $10.00 a month?
Let's see AT&T so far has removed for new users the unlimited plan. Charges $15 for 200MB or $25 for 2GB. It's like they are pushing for people to find their local Starbucks to do their surfing.
$69.99 - Unlimited everything mobile to mobile + 450 mins anywhere. No roaming.
$10.00 for 4G phone which in return gives 5GB(cap) that has not been really enforced when you go over a few GB's or 4GB Unlimited. Can't have a WiMax Hotspot and CAP the speeds.
Free Telenav Sprint NAV turn by turn usually a $10.00 a month feature on AT&T.
So for $79.99 you get all of that and then some.
AT&T for the most part charges:
$69.99 unlimited talk
$20.00 unlimited text
$30.00 Unlimited capped data at 5GB not $25.00 for 2GB
$10.00 for TeleNav
So for $129.99 a month you get AT&T.
If you want to get apples to apples then we can go to the Simply Everything plan which is $99.99 and it gives you unlimited everything + $10.00 4G and you have $109.00 with Unlimited Calls to Mobile and Landlines.
With Verizon you have:
$69.99 unlimited talk
$20.00 unlimited text
$29.99 unlimited data - not to include enterprise data such as blackberry
$44.99 unlimited Enterprise Data
As you can see the Sprint has no caps on data like the other two. So how can one really complain about the pricing. It's a BIG difference and to have all these people and mags complain about $10.00 is a JOKE!
I hope to be happy with my Sprint Service. I don't like change often but I am willing to make the leap.
What your not considering is what if you DON'T NEED unlimited voice minutes? It's great that Sprint is cheaper when comparing unlimited plans, but I for one, only use 200-400 mins a month total between 2 lines. So a 550 family plan with AT&T is just fine, I don't need unlimited with Sprint or even the 1500 minutes there giving us with the Evo's. I would rather pay Sprint less, since I will be using less. But they force you into a Everything plan for smartphones.
All carriers have their ups and downs.
AT&T has the fastest 3g network, but poor coverage/prices
Verizon has the largest 3g network, but poor prices
Tmobile has...umm..good prices
Sprint has good network, good prices, poor phone choices.
With Sprints Evo tax, we save ~10.00 dollars a month switching from AT&T with our current 2 x 3gs's. That is not a lot of money to save, especially since AT&T's data speeds are about twice as fast as Sprints in this area. So the Evo tax is a big deal. We have a pre-order in, I am extremely excited, we will test them out, and if we both like them, we will switch. But if they disappoint like the Pre's did, then they go back and we will keep our iphones.
Now if Sprint didn't charge the Evo tax, we would save 30.00 a month. With that kind of savings, we could accept a few snags here and there and would for sure dump AT&T.

I think that's Sprint's point too.... This phone WILL use more data

It has come to an end - browser redirects to upgrade page

I have the HD2 on Tmobile in the US and have been using it, unlocked, with the web2go, Tzones, $9.99 plan for about a year and before that had a Kaiser for 2 years doing the same.
This morning my browser started automatically redirecting to a page telling me my plan is not compatible with my phone and demanding that I upgrade my plan.....
So much for having 2 lines, 700 minutes, unlimited data for $72.00 a month.
Has this happened to anyone else?
Same here at about 0800 hours, central time, i got the same message on the screen about my plan is not compatible with the phone, it keeps re-directing to that web2go page. :-( :-( :-( I have HD2 Tmo-us.
same here, cc told me that their servers killed the service for smart phones. they gave me a reduced internet package for $20 instead.
I'm going to wait a day or two and see if things come back, but if not, what did you have to ask for to get the $20 internet package?
Free lunch is over! Likely nothing you can do about this either, since it is likely detecting based off the IMEI of the phone, not only is there no known way to change the IMEI on the HD2, to do so would be illegal.

The current $20 internet package offer is for "loyal" TMO customers. I am not sure how far you have to be into your contract to be considered a "loyal" customer, you may even have to have completed your contract and be out of contract. You likely also have to have had on time payments for a certain period of time if not for the entire duration of your contract.
Your best bet would be to call in and ask a CSR about the customer loyalty internet package, and if they claim to know nothing about it then ask to speak to retentions
I fit all of the conditions.
Thanks for the tips.
I thought it was just me. Well, no reason to stick around with tmobile anymore
I've got the same problem.
I'm usually quick to scream bloody murder and leave a company but this is different. We were taking advantage of a loop-hole that Tmobile was kind enough to be slow to fix. Even at $20 a month it's still cheaper than anything on Verizon or AT&T and doesn't require a new contract, I assume and hope (can anyone confirm that?)
I'm sticking with TMobile for now. Besides, I don't want to buy a new phone.
yup it's over...
yup it's over...
however, it doesn't seem to only be affecting branded "smart" tmous devices.....
supposedly iphones, and n1s have had their tzones cut...
*it shows my msisdn in the url upgrade page* so perhaps it is just line based....
I might as well switch because i get crappy reception with tmous at my school... however their 3g speeds seem to be the fastest....no iphone users bogging down the 3g network lol...
but still, 20 dollar for unlimited data doesn't sound too bad....
as for cdma networks.....questionable...

I don't think that taking advantage of a known loop-hole should be considered "screwing" them. Think of it like taxes, it's your duty as a citizen of the US to take advantage of as many tax breaks as you can, legally. If you pay too much to the IRS, they aren't likely to tell you.
And I don't really think I, or the others adding value to the thread are complaining. I'm just trying to make sure I don't wind up paying for something I don't need.

Sprint increasing 3G data plan pricing by $10/mo

WTF is this all about ?
http://www.engadget.com/2011/01/18/sprint-increasing-new-3g-data-plan-contract-pricing-by-10-call/
The nation's third-largest carrier just announced that it's tacking on an extra monthly $10 "premium data" charge to its 3G Everything data plans.
Now only if my Evo could operate at 3g speeds that would be freaking awesome.
FYI: 70Kbps is not acceptable for 3g speeds, wtf.
Learn to read. It's only for new customers and new smartphone activations via upgrades. If you don't upgrade then you don't get the charge.

Still a slap in the face. That means when your contract is up and you buy that new phone, you are also paying 10$ more (can anyone confirm if this is added onto the 10$ we pay for 4g?).
I'm pretty sure if you have a 4G phone that comes with a $10 charge anyway, you'll just keep paying the same additional $10. I think this extra $10 is only for people on 3G phones. So basically, everyone's paying that additional $10 now.
The "4g" fee now applies to all smartphones, that's all.

it can't get much clearer then this people, so no if you have a 4g phone you won't be paying $20, you only be paying the $10 that we already are, this additional fee is just for regular 3g phones.
Yeah. The are starting to see $ signs and possibly getting greedy. I'm going to follow this thread so I can see the same people claim that it's all lies.
The funny thing is I was talking to a rep yesterday about the new upgrade policy and brought up the $10 premium data. I asked her how come an HTC Hero doesn't have the charge and it accesses the same internet and it considered close to the Evo aside from 4G. I even told her that I would expect Sprint to make that charge mandatory on all phones being that they are seeing they can get away with it with current Evo owners.
That's the price you pay for a smartphone nowadays.
Wouldn't a better marketing strategy be to just incrrease the cost of the Everyting data plan to $79.99 and $139.99? Even with the increase Sprint's plans are the best out there. Extra charges piss me off though.

that would make more since honestly, but then what about the 4g phones then, lol, since a single line for the evo is already 79.99, that would be like tacking on another $10 on that so they could say it's a whatever fee, then someone ends up paying 89.99, cause they didn't realize they are getting screwed more then normal, though i would hope and think sprint would say the evo would only be 79.99 as any other smartphone would be.
So I guess its clear now that the David Blaine thing on the 7th is for making more of your money disappear along with premium status.

Well all you "4g premium fee" complainers. Not so unfair you have to pay an extra 10 bucks anymore? LOL. Part of me is wondering if this is their way to make the 4g phone lineup more appealing..."you're gonna pay a premium anyways, why not have the ability to use 4g just in case we decide to roll it out in your city...as long as we don't go broke before then."
Welcome to the (give us money) NOW network!
my guess is that their announcement has to do with adding new cool phones that are 3G.
iphone could be a possibility, but maybe they'll say they allow any CDMA phone on their network.

Funny, when I was on the phone with a Sprint rep last month getting my unlocked EVO activated the lady said they can activate phone 'as long as its labeled with the Sprint logo'. I figured she was wrong or lying but I just wanted to get off the phone.
It's about to get worse. There are rumors that Sprint is going to drop the Premier Upgrade every 12 months program. That they will NOT give Sprint Premiere customers the rebates until their two year contract is up. IF this is the case I will be leaving Sprint as soon as they announce this. They just can't get out of their own way. One of the main reasons I stay with Sprint is because of their annual upgrades. It would not shock me to see Sprint file bankruptcy if they start to implement all these idiotic plans.

The thing that sucks about this and might be the reason why they just didn't add $10 to plans is that corporate or work discounts do not apply to these fees and only towards the base plan. I was mad when they took the discounts off the $19.99 additional lines.
I won't leave Sprint over this because they are still cheaper, especially with our work discount but I guess I have no reason not to get my wife a 4G phone. I was hoping to save some money since we get 4G at work but not at home and she wouldn't use 4G anyway.
However, if this happens in addition to the Sprint Premier changes, I am going to get really mad for getting screwed in two places.
As long as my data is still unlimited i'll be happy. I don't come anywhere near 2gb or 5gb but if they start screwing around i'll say screw it and buy a damn contract free phone. I like my mobile internet but what they're all doing now is getting a little silly.
They have to raise prices as needed but they should've just upped the whole plan without a $10 tack on. The whole point of Sprint's pricing scheme is to keep it simple for people. That was one of the biggest reasons I came to sprint this year. That and the EVO of course

[Q] Where to go now...

Well, after loving the **** out of my Leo I find myself needing to reup my contract and with AT&T buying tmobile I am not so sure I want to stick around, but so far everyone tells me they are the only two networks that would support my phone. So I ask you guys are there any newer phones that are this loved and open ended as the Leo is?
I mean this phone is just beyond words awesome and I am dragging my feet to leave tmobile cause of it. But with all these new phones coming out and dual core phones I am just wondering if someone could give me some suggestions for another phone this open and easy to flash and hack.

There is no phone like the HD2, and so far I'm not incredibly impressed by the dual-core phones. The sensation is laggy, the SGS2 is ugly and I don't need 1080p recording on a freaking phone.
I'm holding out for quad-core devices or the iPhone 5, unless I just get sporadic and pick up a new device just cuz.
I would just wait till AT&T-Mobile releases a phone that gets both ATT and T-Mobile 3G so you have awesome coverage, no phone right now can do that besides the Vibrant.
I don't know that there are any phones like the HD2 out there, but I am in the same boat as you and can offer a suggestion.
Stick with T-Mobile a little longer but don't lock into a contract. The AT&T deal might not even go through, and even if it does, you wont see any affects of it for several years.
T-Mobile has a new "Value Plan" where if you buy a phone out-right, you don't have to sign a contract and the monthly rate is a lot cheaper ($20 less per month) than if you subsidize it and lock into a 2 year contract. You can switch to this and continue to ride the HD2 wagon, or buy a new device - In which case, if you dont want to pay the full price of the phone up front, they offer a payment plan, where you pay part up front, then $15/month for 20 months. So compare that to the 2-year contract plan and you're saving $5 a month for 20 months, then $20 a month for the last 4 (and beyond). If you decide you want to leave prior to the 20th month, you just pay off the remaining ballance on the phone and you're free to sign elsewhere.

You lost me towards the end there mate, all I know is that tmob keeps bugging the **** out of me to reup and that sure as hell ain't going to happen anytime soon. My plan is still good and stuff I only pay I think 70 a month of unlimited everything.

What he's saying is the "no contract" plans are $20 cheaper than the contracted ones.
The 500 minutes/unlimited data is $80 a month if you're on a contract. The same plan is $60 a month if on the "no contract" plan.

^ What he said. Just go to a t-mob store. They'll explain it better. Hard to explain in a post.
I got it the second time, thanks. True 60 is nice but dropping the 15 more for unlimited mins text and data doesn't seem so bad...still don't see how unlimited can mean 5 gigs, but then I don't work marketing.
Mostly I was just hoping to find the next phone to jump to for a boost in specs but still having the total freedom this phone gives. I mean I can reflash any rom I want to test and then just throw out a restore if I don't like it. There isn't anything this phone hasn't been able to do for me. I am looking and starting to think no one will ever make a phone this good again.

The sensation is kinda like that now, you might give that a shot.

Verizon force removing grandfathered "Unlimited Data"

I should have posted this two months ago when I found out, but got lazy. The now $30 fee reminded me and I decided I should pass the info along. I had a conversation with:
Handsets, Product Distribution, Business
Brenda Raney
908-559-7518
[email protected]
This conversation was about the NFC blocking but I baited her with a comment and she responded by saying something along the lines of "Unlimited Data would no longer be an option on "Advanced" handsets released later this year (2012). When you upgrade to one of these new "Advanced" (IE Smartphone) you will have to give up your unlimited data plan and pick a paid package."
She would not tell me when it would happen, but said that Verizon was not under any obligation to continue to grandfather people with unlimited data. I fully expect this to happen as soon as Quad Core phones hit the market.
Just one more drop in the bucket. Removing unlimited data packages for new subscribers, removing early upgrades, every two discounts, blocking Google from releasing direct updates for developer devices like the Galaxy Nexus, and now the $30 upgrade fee.
No, I did not record the phone conversation but the removal of grandfathered unlimited data will happen, and sooner then later. Feel free to chalk it up to a rumor if you don't believe me but when it happens, don't say I didn't warn you.
New Verizon devices use Sim cards, welcome to the world of buying off contract devices.
I wonder if this will let you break contract.

Sounds like it would to me
It seems like something they would do. I think I know there "plan" to get every one off unlimited data.
I have herd some things, but not like this. I think this is about spot on.
Now I will hold on to both of my unlimited data for dear life.
Edit: yes they do throttle 4G and will be doing more and more intill the next iphone and then will pull an AT&T X2. They will likely force you out of unlimited when you upgrade or if you you are on a "old" 4G phone they will throttle you on 4GLTE. I know, becuase I was throttled on 4G and then I stoped using the phone for 3 days, now I am unthrottled and sit at 90+hours of uptime with 2GB of use.
Link to some one who got throttled on 4G:http://www.phonearena.com/news/Is-Verizon-throttling-4G-speeds-too_id22818
Now he did use a crap load of data and I think he got what was coming, but I know when the new iphone with LTE comes out, WE ARE DOOMED. I have a 2nd line with unlimited data on AT&T, thats my back up plan. If not oh well.
Once again Verizon showing how little they care about their customers. From a legal standpoint they could probably do this because when you get a new phone you are under a new contract. But what if you buy the phone from ebay, etc and just add it to your plan. You are still technically under the same contract but they could track ESNs and force your plan to switch.
I hope they don't do this. I just left att after months of looking to take over someones Verizon contract. I found a person with 2 unlimited lines hopefully its not short lived. I really don't want to go to sprint

Verizon is CDMA only. The SIM cards are used for LTE, not GSM (a few phones have SIM slots for international GSM, but they're useless while on the Verizon network). So no, there is no buying of unlocked phones from Verizon.
Speaking of this, in China and other Asian countries, CDMA devices have SIM cards called R-UIM cards that work exactly the same way as GSM SIM cards, but CDMA carriers here in the US want to be able to stranglehold you in terms of what kinds of phone you use.
Hopefully Sprint still has unlimited data and their act together when my current contract is up in two years. Verizon charges an arm and a leg for their services and it's not enough? They have to nickel and dime us every step of the way. Aside from decent service I can't say that I feel like I get a whole lot for my money with Verizon. I've just had enough bad experiences with AT&T, and Sprint that I've been afraid to go back to either of them. Maybe it's not so bad these days?
I hope so too, becuase I need a 3rd back up plan and for every one elses sake.
My experience with AT&T has been very good, but I don't think that would be true if I was locked in for 2 years. Sprint has really come up in the last year or so and they seem like they are upgrading fast. (NV and LTE)
Not surprising in the least. Sprint will have to soon end too and remove grandfathered unlimited. Aside from that though, thanks for this update.
I wouldn't read a ton into all this stuff. And I don't know how good of an idea it is to publish someones personal/professional contact info for them on any forum...
I worked with verizon for a while, and on a daily basis I was upgrading phones and allowing customers to keep these 5 or 6 year old alltel rate plans.
It is absolutely correct that verizon can remove unlimited from grandfathered accounts if it wants to, but verizon's course of action with old alltel plans and the like, suggest that it won't happen.
I'm not saying it will or wont happen, all I'm saying is that its definitely possible that they will allow you to keep unlimited data, as long as you are playing nice and not DLing 100 gb's a month on their network.
I love all the misinformation, conjecture, an the posting of a professional email, signs of the derogation of society.
First: Yes VZW is charging an upgade fee. To say everyone is doing it is a cop out. To say that they are loosing money on equipment subsidies is true and the fee helps recap som of the cost while keeping prices competitive even with their own indirect partners.
Second, the only time you can loose a grandfathered plan per contractual agreement is a) older Altel devices that upgrade or change devices because there is no longer an Altel contract. b) you change to a basic (from smart) phone for over 30 days or c) you agree to it.
There are no exceptions to the three listed above. Don't believe me: 1800-922-0204 and ask for the loyalty department.
I love all the verizon fan boys who think they are the best and they would NEVER pull some thing over them like: taking away unlimited data, THROTTLING or the $30 "upgrade" fee.
The contract only lets you keep grandfathered plan's for the lenth of time you signed up for (AKA 2 years) and then They can make you sign a new contract with out unlimited data if you want to upgrade and if you don't upgrade, then they can just take it away.
Why is so easy for me to type this you may ask? Becuase they throttled me at 12Gb and now I can't go over about 10-15gb with out ricking this:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RCbvDEewcJU&feature=channel&list=UL
P.S I sit at 65GB on AT&T and no throttling. Eat that verizon
I really came in under the wire on this one. I upgraded about three months ago; still have my unlimited data. I never really understood why providers are simply eliminating unlimited plans rather than charging exorbitant amounts of money which plenty of people would pay.
do you expect anything less of Verizon?

Nope, this is what I think they will do. They are thinking about razing the price up as well to get every one off of it, like AT&T did the $20 unlimited to 30, but with more kick. I have herd every thing from 30 going up to 50, all the way to it replacing the 20GB plan.
Any way: They are going to do some thing soon and well I will just say it's not likely going to be good.

Pretty much the exact thing I heard when I called them a few weeks ago. I've been out of a contract for almost 6 years now (just lucky that my phone breaks when they dont have any more and get a free upgrade). I currently have a HTC Trophy with Windows Phone 7 and dont have a newer one because they have not gotten newer WP7 devices, YET.
I called them up and was asking on new devices and presented them with the same question. According to Verizon, I can buy a new Smartphone today, sign a new 2 year agreement and I still will not lose my unlimited data plan according to them.
Of course the day I do it, that will be my first question and will ask for it in writing
As of this moment you are not forced off of your unlimited plan when upgrading phones or switching between current phones

So it's ok for Verizon to publish her information on their public website, but not for me to copy and paste it from that site to this one? I will edit this post later to provid the direct link to Verizon's corporate PUBLIC website that lists this PUBLIC information. As a "former Verizon employee" you should know all about their public site and what's listed on it. Even if it wasn't Verizon does not respect its customers so I have no respect for their employees at the upper level management.
I will get you that link tomorrow (today really, but later). My nephew is having a bad night teething and is co sleeping next to me so this post is on my device not a pc or I would do it now.
Fyi I have never gone over 5gb on my cell. I don't abuse my unlimited. Oh and I am rooted and can tether for free. Not everyone deserves to be ppunished for the crimes of a few. Wish VZW would figure that out but in reality people abusing unlimited is just an excuse to increase profits, which gets their CEO a bigger bonus. It's all about the money. Corporate Greed.
