I'm beginning another project, but now on HD2, that will be in my hands since 3rd of November.
Okay, it's premature now because we haven't got HardSPL but when we'll get it, the flashing of custom ROMs will be possible and this project will be fully started.
However, anyone got the final ROM for HTC Leo?
If someone links me to this then it'll be possible to start cooking and solve early problems (crash of kitchen and other) so I'll be ready for releasing the ROM when HSPL will be ready

I sold my TD2 and preordered HD2 too...
Plenty of early interest. I will be getting mine as soon as O2 releases them, and ditch/dump/throw my Touch Diamond, not that I hate it or anything, but HD2... ummm... looks delicious ..

I also sold my HTC Touch HD (1) and I'm waiting for the HD 2 .
UPDATE: ROM built. Waiting for the device and an HardSPL for testing it and uploading it.

Unfortunately yes, you lose everything on your device (not the storage card) including contacts etc... This is why backups are good!

which build have you been using?
Cant understand how it ships with wm6.5, 6.51 has to be the min spec
after reading posts elsewhere, I'm quite worried now that HardSPL look like a tough road for HTC HD2? I'm getting HD2 expecting 30th Nov in China, and it will be in Chinese version, even though I know Chinese, it is still kinda hard time for me using a phone in Chinese. Really hope HardSPL is out soon!
which build are you going to use for this rom?
The device is shipped with WM6.5 and not 6.5.1 because 6.5.1 is still in beta phase.
However, I'll use the LATEST build of WM6.5.1.

the only thing that stands between me and hd2 is hard spl...
as soon as the HSPL is out, I'll buy the phone immidiately
without flashing custom roms from all types of geniuses here all those smartphones are useless for me.

HI - can i flash this straight onto my hd2? (Was an o2 but used the goldcard method to reflash with stock WWE 1.48 rom) - its brand new and i didnt wan to brick it just yet...!!

That's sorted me out thanks for this now downloading finally!
How do I change the background of all tabs (except today-tab) to the "standart"-background (like in the "older"-roms 1.43,1.48,1.61)?
Btw: Nice ROM

This ROM is based on Windows Mobile 6.5 build 21893.
I've removed some applications that I don't consider much needed but anyway you can install them by cabs found on forum.
Base ROM: 2.10.531.0
These ROMs are using Tom's Autoinstall | Create a folder on your SDCard with name Autoinstall and place all your CABs & XMLs there, after flashing, your CABs and XMLs will be autoinstalled.
You MUST use radio 2.07.50.27 or 2.08.50.08

This version is the full version of the ROM.

Sense 2.5 without HTC Messaging
This version is the same as Sense 2.5 version but HTC Messaging has been removed in favor of WM Messaging (it has only one problem when you want to check the SMS for a contact at people hub, you will get a black screen)

Guys, the new ROMs are online. For your convenience I've included Bepe's SSPL app to flash the ROM, so all that you have to do is run SSPL_RUU.exe and flash the ROM.
EDIT: Documents tab in Sense 2.5 version is not activated by default, so you need to activate it in Manage Home Screen tabs.

omg........ really cannot stand this!!!!!! Seeing this beauty released, but unable to flash
It will be a long wait till wednesday (only then time to flash....)
For those who flashed, any feedback? Want to know the free storage space, because the stock rom (1.61) only got like 170mb free storage space, way tooo little.....
And with the stock rom i sometimes get a freeze, random. Especially when closing opera, i think it has to do with the cache on storage card?
Oh! Very interesting to see a version with Sense 2.1! (I hate the sms messaging app in 2.5) so I think I'm going to give these a try as well

This ROM is based on Windows Mobile 6.5.X build 23544.
I've removed some applications that I don't consider much needed but anyway you can install them by cabs found on forum.
Base ROM: 2.10.531.0
These ROMs are using Tom's Autoinstall | Create a folder on your SDCard with name Autoinstall and place all your CABs & XMLs there, after flashing, your CABs and XMLs will be autoinstalled.
You MUST use radio 2.07.50.27 or 2.08.50.08

bg4all *NOT* needed anymore! ROM has default support for background for all tabs, how nice!
BSB tweaks runs fine
also tested some more tweaks which had problems in the past with otherl 28xxx builds:
"26. 4 column Start menu.cab" - OK!
"Jaguaralani 20 Shortcuts for Manila 2.5.1922.cab" - OK! (NOT the infamous grey square under the top curtain!!!)
same for "Touch X 16 icon slots.cab"
maxmanilla 2.5 ultimate 2.7 + wvga fullscreen patch working too (again, no grey square visible!)

I don't know if this is the proper location for this topic but I have spent a lot of time looking through different rom threads to see what actually works for my T-mobile US HD2. Since this would be easier, can everyone start listing (or chefs start including) if their roms work on the T-mobile U.S version. I'm sure this will only be a temporary list since I'm sure chefs will probably find a universal way to show if a rom works on tmo-us hd2's.
I have tried the Energy rom (non tmous version) by accident and it worked on my phone with out a major problems.
What have you tried that works?

Energy's Rom FOR TMOBUS...It has locked up a few times on me lately. I will try Kumar's to see.
I like the top bar on Energy's though. The fonts don't render as nicely as I would hope.

Not happening with Energy. Also thought it was enabled as default with this ROM. There is no screen option that I can find in this ROM. I have looked. Unless I am totally blind -

By default its hide goto [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ControlPanel\Pen]
"Hide"=dword:0
and you will see the screen settings now.
Every ROM with a 576MB RAM enabled XIP will work flawlessly on TMOUS HD2.

Anyone willing to test out my ROM on TMOUS HD2 (see sig) , would like to confirm working before I advertise it as so

Most parts of the rom are taken from HTC Oboe and also contain some parts of HTC Huashan.
The roms are more finger friendly with large icons and buttons.
It's a pretty light rom but has UC NET (user customise) build in to give you the oppertunity
to autoinstall all your cabs/regs/xml's from a folder you choose.

* A stock look and skinned version
A version difference in SenseSDK's used in UC NET and CHT Editor make them both incompatible.
Therefore in these sets of roms I took out UC NET.
UC NET is due to the new SenseSDK currently not compatible with CHT Editor 2.0, it makes the CHT Editor crash.
If you still like to autoinstall apps I recommend you to use XDA UC which doesn't use the new Sense SDK.

If you decide to report a bug please let us know the following things:.
Are you running the rom as it comes?
(It's highly recommended to run the rom minimal 1 day after flash as it comes, this gives you the oppertunity to give us a clear bug report)
If you are running software, please give us a list with the applications and which versions you use.
(The rom is running the latest software available so it can happen that older software is not compatible.)
If you are running beta software, are you sure a bug isn't caused because of this?
(Please contact the developer of the software if it does, we are sure the developer of the software appriciates that too.)
Do you use the radio included or did you flash another one?
(Which radio version are you using please?)
We do a lot of tests before we publish the roms but due to many software available on the market it's impossible to test all.

does this rom performs good on HTC messaging with 500+ SMS or it is still buggy and slow? please if some one tested it , let me know
It seems faster to me. and much more stable than another custom rom I just replaced. The other custom rom was designed to be very light on resources and very fast, but it was feeling the burden of the messages. this is much faster and so far rock solid in comparison. Not sure what the magic sauce is.
I like cyberon - YES you have to record voice clip, but as long as you dont need one for EVERY contact it is no problem. i prefer MSVC tho even if I have to change pronunciation
I tried to install 2.13 swype (Dutty's cab from htcpedia) and it didnt work tho
Other than swype (which is non-rom issue) I havent had a single hiccup so far.

been waiting for the Spike release for a while now, tried artemis & energy gtx for couple of days each and I honestly say there isn't a better custom ROM than L26 for HD2 and has been this way ever since january.
